"Whispering Pines" Family Retreat - By the Feather River in Graeagle

Surrounded by whispering pines and steps to the river’s edge, this newly renovated home offers plenty of space to accommodate a larger family and/or your guests. The home has one king bedroom on the main level, two bedrooms upstairs (king & queen), and a bright spacious sunroom with a Queen bed and private seating area. There is also a very spacious bunk room above the connected garage which serves as the "Kids Cave." This room has a TV, Poker/Game Table, and sleeps up to 4. The distance from rest of the house offers these guests additional privacy. The home has a front deck, and a rear deck that offers views of the green space that backs to this property.

Great house and lots of sleeping accommodations. Very well outfitted with kitchen stuff, etc. Had a slight issue with the water heater being on a timer but the owner was VERY accommodating and communication with them (being he was overseas) was phenomenal! Will definitely be back and have book marked this place!

Amazing place for amazing times

Stayed for a family golf trip and the place was clean, beds were very comfortable, instructions from hosts were super helpful, and overall my family had a blast. Would stay here again.

Great house for our family group attending a wedding in the area. Kitchen was fully stocked. Beds were great and comfy. Bathroom on first floor pretty small, just a heads up. But totally functional. Super close to walking down to the Feather River. Great location!

Awesome place to stay for large groups! Beds were super comfortable, plenty of rooms to spread out and a large kitchen in which to cook and visit.

Annual 4th of July family vacation

The comfort and cleanliness of the house exceeded our expectations. This is the 5th Plumas Pines rental we’ve stayed in, and it is definitely our favorite. 100% happy with our stay!

Fantastic 4th

Property was excellent. Fans in the rooms really helped to keep it cool. Lots of room, great deck in front and back. Enough room for the littles to play wiffle ball. Beds were comfy as well. Highly recommend. Wendy was excellent to work with! Very accommodating

Home away from home

Stayed with friends for a wedding at The corner barn. It was nice to be able to all be in one place. We played games and watch the Olympics while at the house. Enjoyed a nature walk and the small little town. The house felt like we were at home but had everything we needed for our group of 11.

Perfect Base for Exploring Graeagle

We came up for a long weekend with family (6 adults, 3 kids) and this was a perfect base camp for exploring the nearby State Park and town of Graeagle. Easy to pop up the road to go sledding in the park, swing through town and grab coffee or a bite and then relax at the house. The kitchen was good size and easy to cook for the family in, space to kick the kids out of our hair upstairs, etc. All in all, lovely spot.

Clean, spacious, and comfortable.

Our party of 7 stayed here for 4 days over Thanksgiving and found the home to be exactly as described. Communication with the manager was excellent, and the house was was well stocked with everything a group our size would need. Note: if you have children, the kid cave is perfect. Highly recommended.

Best Host Ever

We stayed here with our families right before our wedding in the area, and couldn’t have been more impressed with this place and host. We, and our families, have stayed at lots of short term rentals and Wendy and Allen far exceeded our expectations! They are by far the best hosts we have ever had. They went above and beyond to be accommodating, and were extremely responsive and helpful. They helped to decrease the stress of our wedding week. The house itself was amazing, great for large families. The location is perfect, right near the River, with a great yard as well. We had so much fun, and made many great memories here. We would highly recommend this house and will be back again!
