The home was exactly what we described. We had a question regarding the pool, and the owner was great and actually came over to assist us. Would highly recommend this him if you are staying in the Rogue Valley.

Best stay!

House was clean and organized. Master bedroom mattress was awesome! My older son loved shooting a few hoops and the pool was hit with both boys. Easy to get around to the sites and whole family loved coming back to the house to relax. Host was most accommodating.

Amazing!

My husband, 12 year old daughter and I had a great time at this house! The pool was amazing - almost didn’t want to leave to go do all the other activities we planned while visiting this area of the state. The owner was super responsive to our questions. The house was well appointed. We loved the location and privacy in the backyard. We would definitely come back!

Great place for the whole family

We spent Father’s Day weekend visiting family and this house was perfect for all of us! The kids loved the pool and large grass area where they played baseball. The adults loved the BBQ and lounging by the pool. Home was super clean, host was great at communicating, and the house was stocked with all things to make our trip go smoothly. Can’t wait to stay again in the future!

The neighborhood is so charming ! My kids lived in the pool and loved the backyard. The master bedroom bed is so comfy. My only negative is that the master bedroom faces the street and the car lights come straight into the room. Black out curtains would be great or bring an eye mask. The communication with the owner was great. We would book this home again.

Adored this house

This was such an enjoyable stay. The house is meticulously clean and exactly as pictured. My husband and I brought our 2 small children and it was a blast. Very secluded, yet close to everything we needed. Dan and Dianne were very responsive and kind. Everything you could ask for in a vacation rental! Will definitely be back. Thank you!!

Outstanding stay

A peaceful and private retreat with an outstanding pool! Our teen grandkids loved the depth! The home is lovely, clean and fully equipped with everything family needs. The host is fabulous and very responsive.

Perfect

We were in Medford for a softball tournament and this was the perfect place to hang out as a family after games. We had everything we needed and more!! Will definitely look to stay here again next summer.

Southern Oregon Stay

We absolutely enjoyed our stay in the Capital House. The house was clean and exactly as described on the web (including the wild turkeys, which we saw!). The Pool was warm, and was very appreciated by especially with the hot summer we were having. Checkin was extremely simple and I appreciated the touchpad lock. The House is on a very quiet street, but a 5-10 minute drive to anything that Medford has to offer. All-in-all, this ended up being the perfect spot for us on a our Road Trip from Portland to Sacramento. We would definitely stay again if we are near the area. Thanks!

Girl's trip

I stayed here with a couple close friends for a birthday girl's trip. This home is adorable and very clean. We noticed how great it smelled from the moment we walked in. We overpacked tons, because this house has EVERYTHING you might need. We had a great time lounging around the pool during 100+ degree days. The living space is nice and open, making it super easy to socialize. Also, really enjoyed seeing the neighborhood turkeys 😊

Sibling Reunion

The property was exactly as described, very clean, a well outfitted kitchen and in a really quiet neighborhood. We walked up to the end of the street and watched the turkeys fly into a huge pine tree for the night. Lots of turkeys and deer wandered through the property. We spent a lot of time outside by the pool and enjoyed the bird life! Great central location for day trips to Ashland, Jacksonville and Crater Lake. Would definitely stay here again!

Family vacation

Beautiful Home

This home is in a great location. Close to everything, yet very peaceful. House is beautiful, with gorgeous backyard view. Host Dianne was amazing working with me. Very accommodating. Will definitely book here again.

Private in town get away

I love this entire property! It doesn’t look like it in the photos but the lot is at least a half acre. The pool is also bigger than it looks in the pictures. The property is surrounded by trees which makes for a great natural privacy wall. The house is well decorated, well furnished and cozy bedrooms. Check in and communication with the host was very easy. I would definitely stay here again!

We are native Oregonians, both born and raised in the Rogue Valley and have been married 34 years! We love this area and all it has to offer. We enjoy home renovation projects and work hard but, when we get a chance, we like to spend time with family, take a hike with our dogs, play in the water somewhere, or go camping. We hope that everyone that visits Southern Oregon will enjoy it as much as we do!

This property is special. We've thought for years about moving into it but the time hasn't been right so we decided that we would share it with others through short-term rentals. The backyard is an oasis with the pool and half acre of landscaping. It's very peaceful and quiet. The pool is a favorite place to spend with family or quietly with a loved one. The abundant bamboo and large oak and pine trees give the property so much privacy. We hope you'll love it as much as we do!

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

The particular neighborhood where this property is located is an older part of East Medford. The streets are wide and none are main roads so traffic is limited. So many people walk their dogs around here and are friendly as they pass by. The house is within a short walk to a sweet park that has a wonderful playground for children that may be staying at Capital House.
