This jewel of a find is located in old Rockport and has been in our family for over 50 years. Completely revamped with a touch of coastal gems and treasures throughout the house from local beaches and artists.
Getaway from reality and slip into the charm of the Texas Gulf coast with the promises of world renowned fishing/bird watching, bait stands,boating, kayaking, paddle boarding, shopping and dining.
Rockport beach is just blocks away and is the first Blue wave beach in Texas- kid friendly with jungle gyms and piers for fishing and people watching.
Aransas county Wildlife refuge is just a few miles north of Rockport which is part of he winter migration to north Americas largest bird- the Whooping crane. Visit Texas’ largest oak tree in Lamar “The Big Tree”.
And of course, a 20 minute drive and a ferry ride to Port Aransas, is where one can shell comb, surf fish and enjoy a day at the beach. Permit # 00154

The cozy retreat was the perfect place for us. We enjoyed our stay and felt very comfortable. It was like a home away from home. Everything we needed to make this trip great was provided and the host, Tricia was amazing! She was very responsive and wanted to make sure we didn’t need anything. Definitely recommend staying here. 5 out of 5 recommend!

We were amazed at the welcome that awaited us. The host thought of everything that you would need and more. The house was close to everything and had great communication from the host. Our trip to Rockport was enhanced by the beautiful setting of this property. Just minutes from the water, this home is quaint, and well appointed in every aspect. On arrival, all is in pristine condition and it's obvious the host pays attention to the details! Beds in each room were very comfortable. Tricia was exceptional regarding her very timely communications. We have visited many homes in Rockport via VRBO, but this has become our new go to place.

Beautiful Beach Cottage

We had a wonderful and comfortable stay in this beautifully done beach home. The hosts are amazing and kind! Pristine clean, everything worked, it smelled amazing and we loved the little quotes around the cottage that made it feel like home. We will be going back again! Thank you for the great hospitality!

Cozy Retreat in Rockport TX

This property was perfect. It exceeded my expectations by providing a well appointed kitchen. Spacious bedrooms and beautiful shower. I loved the modern renovation of the kitchen with the high ceilings that opened up the living space. I walked to downtown Rockport and the beach park. One of my favorites and I will return.

Adorable Cottage, Perfect Stay

The house was perfect for my husband and my adult son with special needs. The neighborhood was quiet and close to everything. The decor was charming, beds were comfy, house very clean and communication with the owner was clear and responsive. The patio area was nice for a glass of wine at night and coffee in the morning!

Fun Family Retreat

Wow, we truly enjoyed our stay here. First the neighborhood is cute and quiet, we enjoyed coffee on the front porch every morning and cocktails on the back patio. It's super close to the beach so we even walked one evening as an after dinner stroll. My favorite part was the fully equipped kitchen as we made dinner nightly and the comfortable beds and bedding. It really is such a comfy beach bungalow and we quite enjoyed our 4 days and wish we could have stayed longer. Trish had excellent communication and lovely recommendations for the area. It was my moms birthday and we decorated the little cabana in the back in tiki theme decor which was perfect. Oh and the closer of games and cornhole were a fun bonus as well.

Rockport getaway

The cottage was exactly as pictured and spotless. The neighborhood was quiet and the outdoor patio was a delight for breakfast in the morning or relaxing by the gas fire pit at night. Tricia provided excellent communication before and during our visit to ensure we had everything we needed for the beach and to enjoy our stay. When our arrival was delayed due to weather, she even picked up some breakfast items for us so we had something the next morning. Southern hospitality at its finest.

Cute little coastal house

This little bungalow has been recently remodeled and was very well equipped. Location is a few blocks from the man made beach/pier area on the bay. It is definitely walkable but you have to cross a couple busy streets to get there. There is a ring camera at the front door and one right inside the back porch door. We only stayed a couple days but it was a nice short stay.
