PARKING
Room for 2-3 cars in the driveway. Sunriver does not allow for parking on the street or off pavement which includes the street in front of the house. Park only in the driveway. We would hate to see any of our guests get towed or fined by the Sunriver Police.

Our Cleaning Practices
We’re committed to maintaining a clean, comfortable, and welcoming space for every guest. After each stay, our professional cleaning team sweeps, wet mops, and steam cleans all the floors, along with a full surface disinfecting of the home.
The house features luxury vinyl plank (LVP) flooring, which is durable and easy to maintain. However, LVP can sometimes show streaks or a light residue—commonly referred to as the “gray sock” effect—despite a thorough clean. This is a known characteristic of this type of flooring and not a sign of dirt or lack of care.
That said, we understand it can be a nuisance, and we’re actively working to minimize it. We’re testing different cleaning solutions and techniques, and have even reached out to the manufacturer for guidance on the best practices to reduce this effect.
If anything feels off when you arrive, please don’t hesitate to let us know. Guest comfort is our top priority, and we’re always happy to make things right.

We provide soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash by H2O Therapy

PETS
We are delighted to welcome only dogs into our home ( 1 dog per reservation), believing that pets are family and should be treated with care and responsibility. To ensure a harmonious stay only dogs under 40 pounds are permitted, we do not allow cats or puppies. There is a pet fee of 40 dollars/night for each pet. Guests must be responsible for their pets at all times, including leash requirements, supervision, and cleanup duties both indoors and outdoors. Pets cannot be left unsupervised, and proof of vaccinations may be requested. Dogs are not allowed on furniture, beds, or in the hot tub, and excessive shedding should be vacuumed by guests. Disturbances such as nonstop barking are not permitted, and guests are reminded to respect our property as their own. Thank you for your cooperation in making everyone's stay enjoyable and comfortable.

HEATING
Temperature changes as the system cycles translates into lots of expansion and contraction of copper pipes and that might mean some creaks, clanks, and clicks.

WILDLIFE
We kindly remind you to ensure that all doors and windows are securely closed during your stay in Sunriver. While the natural surroundings are a haven for diverse wildlife, it is important to take precautions to prevent any unexpected encounters inside the house, including potential visits from mice, bats, and our native carpenter ant friends! Central Oregon is also home to multiple species of ants and spiders, some of which may find their way indoors if entry points are left open. As your hosts, we take pride in maintaining a clean and comfortable space and do our best to manage and control insects through regular cleaning and pest control services. That said, given the expansive wilderness setting of Sunriver, occasional indoor visits from local critters/insects can still occur despite best efforts.

INTERNET
House is equipped with HIGH speed internet. WIFI coverage throughout the house. Speeds may vary depending on broadband usage, devices, location, and etc.

BIKES
We offer six complimentary adult cruiser bikes plus a bike trailer with adult helmets for guests to explore the 40 miles of Sunriver paved pathways. While we cannot guarantee their availability due to possible maintenance needs, we do our best to keep them well-maintained. Guests assume responsibility for their safety while using the bikes and are encouraged to wear helmets. Anyone under 16 must wear a helmet as required by state law. For off-road biking options, there are rental shops in the Sunriver Village. Enjoy your stay with us!

SHARC pass
We offer SHARC passes for our guest use only. These are non-transferable. Please return them to their original location at check out. $100/pass will be charged to the guest for any Lost/missing/damaged pass.

SERVICE PROVIDERS
During your stay, you may encounter service providers who help with the maintenance of the home (gardener, hot tub cleaning crew, bike repair etc.). Please allow them onto the property to do their jobs. For stays longer than 5 days, the hot tub crew may check mid stay to ensure the PH and Chlorine levels are at appropriate levels.

Longer stays
For stays longer than 15 days we charge additional light cleaning every 10 days (bathrooms, kitchen and bedroom vacuum/mop and switch out linens on the beds). Light cleaning fee of $150 will billed to you in advance.

Security Deposit: We require a refundable security deposit of $300 for all stays at The Village Hideout. This deposit is collected on the first day of your stay and refunded five days after checkout, provided there is no damage. Please note that depending on your bank, it may take a few extra days for the refund to appear in your account. Any damage costs will be deducted from this deposit, and if additional charges are necessary, they will be applied in accordance with the rental agreement.
