Secluded Yet Close to Munising-Moose Tracks

Moose Tracks is a beautiful cabin surrounded by the Hiawatha National Forest on a private drive. Perfect for snowmobile/ATV Riders looking to be out of town and close to the trails! Easy access to Trail 7 which is right off of Doe Lake Road, roughly 2-3 miles from the cabin. Plenty of parking for trailers. The Buckhorn Restaurant is roughly 7.9 miles from the cabin, GREAT FOOD! If you are looking to get away from it all and enjoy the sounds of nature & peace and quiet, this cabin is for you. Relax on the enclosed porch while drinking your morning coffee. If you want to explore Munising and the Pictured Rocks shoreline and all that it has to offer, it's only 15 miles from this cabin. The cabin sleeps 6 with 2 bedrooms and a LOFT (Non-Conforming Bedroom 3). Bedroom 1 is downstairs with a Queen bed. Bedroom two is upstairs with a Queen bed and then the LOFT has two Twin beds. The cabin also features a fully stocked kitchen and all linens that you will need during your stay. Wifi is provided as well as two smart TVs. Little Round Lake is not accessible from the house but it does have public access from Doe Lake Road and you can fish there.

***There is a doorbell camera mounted at the fence entryway outside.

***Door code will be released the night prior to check-in for security purposes.

***If you are booking through Airbnb or VRBO you will receive a separate contract from Pictured Rocks Vacation Rentals. In order to receive check-in information you will be required to sign this.

Beautiful cabin

Very cozy, clean cabin. Beds were comfortable. Only disappointment was that the fireplace/wood-burning stove was gas. I was looking forward to a nice wood fire.

Cabin had everything we needed plus some! The layout was perfect for me and my family (hubby and 2 adult children). We enjoyed preparing meals in the kitchen and gathering in the tv room to enjoy the Olympics. Thank you!

Upper Peninsula Honeymoon

This rental was probably one of the best I've experienced! Our host was very responsive to any question we had, and helped us immensely with multiple scheduling issues. The cabin was clean and orderly, and was in the perfect location! There were lots of outdoor activities in the area. We couldn't have enjoyed our stay more!

Peaceful; Feels Remote with Central Location

The cabin is lovely, clean, and easy to find. It was so peaceful and beautiful. We were able to go to several UP towns with ease and minimal driving. It was a little odd that instructions for check-in were sent late the night before, but we did get them and all went well. That said, because I was anxious about it, I messaged the host and she responded promptly that I should receive the check-in info soon. Directions provided are from Munising, but both Google and Apple managed fine in getting us there from the South. Do be sure to get directions to your outing destinations on wifi before leaving - cell service was spotty on the backroads.Overall, this comfortable cabin allowed us to have quiet evenings and quick access to UP adventures. Would definitely stay again!

Just as they described it, Cozy Cabin! The pictures don't do it justice. The cabin appears more spacious in person. Very clean. Peaceful and relaxing. I highly recommend. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect Log Cabin

We loved loved the log cabin. It was exactly as described. The place was clean and well-stocked with all the essentials. It had a cozy feel to it as well. The owners put a lot of thought into each and every aspect to ensure it felt like home. The management company was incredible to work with and was very responsive to our needs. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Fall in the UP

We hiked, rode the side by side, went for walks. Discovered lakes and trails, found gorgeous beaches. New coffee places. Waterfalls. Had fires. Rested. Grilled out. Ate out. Pet sled dogs! Did a little shopping. Drank coffee together. Exercised. It was a fabulous trip 😊

Remote Fall Getaway

We had a group of four of us with plans to ride trails and see the fall colors. The cabin was absolutely perfectly located to do lots of that! Super cute, very clean, beautiful little setting that had all we needed. We rode a ton, came back and had bonfires a couple nights and just disconnected. Melinda was super helpful and responsive when needed. We wouldn’t hesitate to come back again in the future!

I want one!

We want to build a cabin, and this one became an example of what we want. Absolutely gorgeous and we loved it so much. There were only 2 of us, but there is room for a bigger family (Keep in mind, just 1 bathroom, but that's no surprise as it is exactly as described). Wish we had longer to enjoy the property and front porch.

Peaceful

If you are looking for a property outside of town this is the place. We enjoyed exploring the UP and returning to a property in the woods. No traffic noise and the ability to relax by the fire in the evening. The property itself had everything we needed and then some. Well equipped and stocked kitchen, clean and spacious rooms. The booking process, check-in and check-out went smooth. No reason to communicate with the property management but their contact info was posted in case of issues or concerns which was reassuring. Overall A+++ rating. Thank you

Trip to the U.P.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was great for two couples and 1 young child. The location was really into the woods and was peaceful. Wish we’d had a full week stay and not just a couple of nights. The place was clean, comfortable and spacious. We didn’t cook so can’t speak to the kitchen supplies although the appliances were all nice. The fire pit was great and we enjoyed sitting around the fire at night. We really liked the cabin. The light bulbs were all low so could use some brighter bulbs or lighting although the fixtures were inline with the theme of the cabin. The top step going into the loft should’ve been a wider landing and not a step. It’s a little scary coming out of the loft and down the stairs, you need to take extra care, especially at night given there is only one bathroom on the lower level. We would rent this property again and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Pictures Rocks area (30 minute drive) or looking for a relaxing retreat in the woods.

Vacation ruined!

We planned to stay at this cabin for our daughter's birthday. We thought the cabin was great for the couple hours we were there until we didn't have water. The plumber finally showed up at 1030pm and said the well had dried up. We were then forced to leave the cabin to go into town and stay in an apartment at midnight. Which we then had to be out of the apartment by noon the next day. They then put us in a motel the following night. Not at all what we payed for. Make a long story short they did not refund our request of a full refund. Very disappointed! Would not recommend booking with them.
