Casa con vistas encantadoras pastos privados únicos cercanos a Amsterdam

Nuestra casa está situada en el campo en un dique junto al pintoresco río "Het Gein". A holandeses típicos circundante donde se puede andar en bicicleta y caminar. En verano se puede nadar en el río Het Gein.
Ámsterdam es muy cerca de aquí: con una bici que te lleva 5 minutos de la estación de metro Gein, que le lleva en 20 minutos al centro de Amsterdam. Con un coche que puede conducir en 5 minutos a la estación de metro de P + R de Gaasperplas o hasta la estación de tren de Abcoude. Y en 15 minutos conduce al centro de Amsterdam.
Debido a que nuestra casa está situado de forma centralizada, todos los sitios turísticos grandes se encuentran a una hora en coche, como Keukenhof, Zaanse Schans, Haarlem, Volendam, Marken, La Haya, Hoge Veluwe, Utrecht y la "Venecia del Norte": Giethoorn, etc, etc .

La casa de verano de la finca, que fue construido en 1865, está situado a 200 metros de la ciudad fronteriza de Amsterdam. En la primera planta hay 2 dormitorios cada uno con un cuarto de baño individual, hay un salón y una amplia cocina con mesa de comedor. Las puertas plegables que lleva al jardín privado grande, que le da una vista panorámica a los pastos circundantes con el pastoreo de ovejas y vacas. En el segundo piso se encuentra un muy amplio salón tipo loft y una mesa de comedor con chimenea. También hay una televisión con reproductor de DVD.

La casa cuenta con una rica historia: hasta las 60 de la casa de verano fue un establo con pajar y la granja estaba arrendada por varios agricultores familiares. Más tarde, la tierra fue vendida por el municipio de Amsterdam a la famosa escultora holandesa Nel van Lith. En el antiguo pajar dio lecciones escultor a nuestro ex reina Beatriz. Desde 1995, una arquitecta de jardines vivió aquí y ella diseñó el jardín romántico inglés / francés que sigue intacto en la actualidad.

“GEZELLIG” as the Dutch say. This cottage is situated on the Hein River nestled between two quaint villages, Abcoude and Vesp. Its idyllic. Great for cycling. Two properties down the road, you can buy farm fresh cheese, milk, and yogurt. The scenery is so Dutch! Windmills, sheep, cows, and blooming sunflowers.

Wonderful stay

Four of us - own cars, own bikes. Fabulous house in a wonderful spot. Stephanie is a gracious and delightful host and her holiday home is perfect. Can’t recommend highly enough. Five Stars.

Beautiful and peaceful. Excellent location easily close to shops and easy transport to tram/train. Stephanie was excellant host very helpful and kind. Only drawback was mosquitoes come with after bite and repellant. Otherwise house was roomy and well equipped

Perfect Cottage

We were 2 couples spending a week in the area. The cottage and garden are beautiful. It was great to have 2 ensuite bathrooms. The cottage was clean, attractive, and very comfortable. Stephanie always responded quickly and offered good information. Ihighly recommend this home.

Enjoyed our stay

There is a lovely garden with a deck where we are entertained by the birds, the mallards, the cows and the flowers . Very convenient location, we can always find a great outdoor cafe for lunch. We like the kitchen, which is large and has a gas stove.

Beautiful Surroundings

Lovely history in a beautiful setting with a charming house. Excellent in most all ways. Surrounded by canal, farm and historic windmills. Very quiet and conveniently located to many wonderful places to visit.

This place has it all!

Stephanie has provided a beautiful, spacious place in a bucolic setting. The town of Abcoude has a number of nice restaurants which Stephanie recommends, a gas station and local grocery store. we would definitely stay there again if we are fortunate enough to be able to return.

Idyllic place im a calm surrounding

We had a wonderful time in this idyllic place at the river,surrounded by cows and near a farmers shop.The house was clean and had a huge kitchen.There were also mosquito-nets for protection.We enjoyed a week and spend a day renting bikes to explore Abcoude and the nearby area.

Quiet stay

This property was beautiful and peaceful. It was a lot of space for our family of 4. Check in and out was easy. A car is recommended if you are visiting other places, but not necessary. We used the train station, which is about a 20 minute walk away.

A real gem near Amsterdam,

This place was a perfect place of respite after a day of sightseeing around South Holland. The garden and grounds were so beautiful we almost hated to leave the house to travel for the day. Stephanie is an excellent host. She helped us navigate our way into Amsterdam (local train station) and to find local restaurants.

Beauttiful Dutch trip

Stunning countryside setting, with easy access to the local town of Abcoude and its station to then explore Amsterdam. The house its self was beautiful and everything we needed was there. Stephanie was on hand should you need any assistance. All in all a great trip and will hopefully return.

Beyond Beautiful!

This surpassed our wildest dreams. Such a well-equipped “little” cottage. So roomy, beautifully decorated, just the perfect place for a family to stay on holiday. One disclaimer, it’s a bit far from Amsterdam and neither train station is all that close. If you don’t have a car, you’ll pay premium for Ubers back and forth. But I would still stay here again in a heartbeat.

Perfect for an extended stay: quiet and beautiful.

We spent three weeks here using this charming home as a base for our travels throughout various parts of the Netherlands. It is easy to reach Amsterdam from here and our host provided us with great details about getting to and from the city. Stephanie was responsive when an issue arose with the hot water and she kept us up-to-date when a local marathon forced a road closure. The home had everything we needed to make our stay pleasant. If you are looking for a quiet country get-away, in a charming setting this is the perfect place for you.

Great stay in nature

Stephanie’s place is an amazing converted barn surrounded by a lovely garden and farmland. The location is convenient to Amsterdam (25 min by train) and a short run or drive to the quaint town of Weesp. She takes pride in her property and is extremely helpful with local tips and ideas of things to do in the area. Be sure to walk to the local dairy farm for some Tasty cheeses, yogurt and milk. Very comfortable for our family of four to stay in for multiple days. We will be back!

Best of the best.

Anyone wishing to stay at this property will be amazed at how wonderful it is. It's location will give you a true experience of living on the outskirts of a lovely village. It has the best of everything. Easy transport into the city. Plenty of shops and places to explore. The accommodation is very clean and short of nothing. Our host was very helpful and recommended lots of things to do. It was a shame we couldn't stay longer. Do not miss the property, you will be amazed.

Enjoyable stay for a family

This guest cottage was excellent, with ease of accessibility to metro from both sides of Gwin Nord, which is just on the outskirts of Amsterdam limits. A rental car and parking near the city worked really well, but booking, walking and metro are options if you plan ahead. Also a good access point for those looking to explore outside Amsterdam: we were able to enjoy Düsseldorf, Eindhoven and Antwerp with this well placed VRBO just off A2. The accommodations were fantastic. A very spacious top level living area with wood stove and couch and large dining area, and a main floor with 2BR and 2BA is perfect for traveling families. We would recommend this place in a heartbeat, a scenic escape from the busyness and bustle of central Amsterdam, and a wonderful place to relax both inside and outdoors. Five stars!

Great house and location

A lovely house in a peaceful location. Spent a happy week here with my husband and adult daughter. House well equipped, especially the mosquito nets which were definitely needed but they worked as I didn’t get any bites! We enjoyed relaxing in the evening in the upstairs living room. Weren’t able to use the garden as much as we would have liked due to the weather but did sit outside a couple of times and enjoyed watching the wildlife and listening to the birds - first time I’ve ever heard a cuckoo! Only a 10 minute drive to Weesp where we caught the train to Amsterdam. Stephanie was a great host and answered my questions before we travelled very promptly. Would definitely stay here again if we were in the area.

Relaxing

Great place in a very quiet area. Owner is great and welcoming. The loft is a great place to wind down after a long day but be ready as it is very warm. House is very fonctional but two little things were unpleasant. There are ants pretty much everywhere and the timing for the gardeners was awfull. One morning they were triming and making lots of noise right beside my window, waking me up. And the next morning they were working in front of the washroom window while I was in the shower. It was interesting....but they did a great job with their work...lol.
