Nestled in the hills above the sea, The Arches at Richmond Hill offers an authentic lodging experience on the island. We are located in Great Pond, Ocho Rios, 10 minutes from the city center. As a popular travel destination, Ocho Rios boasts a variety of tourist attractions, beaches, local eateries, and adventure.
The Arches is a quaint home with eclectic features of original Jamaican architecture. On your stay, you’ll enjoy the best of both worlds, local accommodations with modern amenities. Guest will have access to the defined area of the home seen the in the profile pictures. The home currently a studio style living, dinning, and kitchenette setup. Please make sure you are comfortable with the amenities before booking :).
In true island fashion, homes were designed for indoor/ outdoor living. The home is equipped AC units along with powerful multi-speed ceiling fans to keep you cool. Be sure to open the doors during the day to let the fresh breeze flow through the house. That is what island living is all about.
The home is undergoing continuous modifications and remodeling to enhance your future accommodations. There are some areas of the home were quest will not have access. There will absolutely be no disruptions during your stay.

This property is special to us because it’s a piece of home. I was born in Jamaica and grew up in this very neighborhood. As a child, I road my bike past this home very often and one day got the opportunity to call it our home. We love to share this space that represent joy, community, and cultural with everyone.

Enjoy the vibrant outdoor space. Whether it’s sitting on the sunlit veranda with a cool beverage or admiring the beautiful flower arrangement throughout the yard, you will surely experience the tranquility this home offers. Be sure to pull up a chair (found inside the garage area) under the mango tree to feel the cool island breeze in your face. When in season, enjoy as many mangos as you can eat.
