Cook as much or as little as you want… every thing you need to make your own special recipes, grill out or visit the local restaurants in McQueeney, New Braunfels or Seguin.

Perfect location for a “floating the River” trip

This house was the perfect size and location for our trip to float the River, and go to Schlitterbahn.

We had a great time at this wonderful property. Super clean accommodations, comfy beds, a well-equipped kitchen, and a beautiful backyard were just a few highlights. The property owners were great with communication as well. We had a family group of seven adults and three kids, and everyone really enjoyed their stay. We only wish we could have stayed longer.

It was perfect

We enjoyed our 2 night-3 day stay very much. We were in town for a family wedding and everything was great. “It’s the little things that count” as the say goes and we liked that some items that we forgot were there. The little kids loved the kids colorful plates, cups and silverware and I liked the big table! We will definitely stay there again!

The house was perfect for our family in the way it was laid out. Although we weren't there much on fri and sat due to us being at the rodeo. Sunday morning was great. I'm an early riser anyway and coffee on the deck at sunrise was a great way to unwind after two days of activities. You have a beautiful place.

Great Location

The property is right on the river as pictured. The water level was perfect for using the kayaks that they have available. We are the type of family that brings all the groceries for the trip and cook all our meals at home. This place had absolutely everything in the kitchen and grill to make this happen. The communication with the host both pre/post was awesome, we didn't need to speak with the host during because the house had everything we needed. The house is kept extremely clean for new arrivals.

End of summer trip

House was very comfortable. Beds were great. Perfect for our needs.T here were games to play which was nice to have. House was very clean. Needs more silverware, had to wash utensils after every meal. We were disappointed with the water level, it was very low. We were not told this. It was too hard for us to get in and out of the water and there is poison ivy where you can enter the water so we were not able to go into the river. Other than that, it's a great place. Train didn't bother us but you can hear the road noise, it wasn't too bad. Would stay here again if the water level is 3-4 foot higher or there's an easier access into the water.

Located just 30 minutes from San Antonio and 45 minutes from the Austin International Airport, the River House is an ideal location for families and friends to gather for occasions for relaxation, fun and water activities. We're just minutes from New Braunfels Schlitterbahn, restaurants, shopping and so much more. The four bedrooms and three baths provide comfortable spaces for groups to spread out as well as gather together in the indoor and outdoor living spaces. Cook as much or as little as you want.
Kitchen is equipped with stove, microwave, refrigerator with icemaker, dishwasher, crock pot, coffee maker, pots/pans, dishes, everything you need. A full laundry room is equipped with washer/dryer.

RIVER FRONT! Private dock and water access to enjoy wading and relaxing in inner tubes or exploring with the kayaks on the property. Hot dogs and s'mores? Heat up the fire pit and enjoy the great outdoors. A charcoal grill is also provided to make grilling steaks or burgers an easy option.
