Heaven on Earth Retreat's Spectacular Suite in Prescott's Gorgeous Granite Dells

The Spectacular Suite, in Heaven on Earth Retreat, is Prescott's paradise in a private canyon oasis at the end of a paved road in the heart of the gorgeous Granite Dells.

Experience gracious indoor-outdoor living thanks to furnished private decks with inspiring views, a seasonal shared solarium pool, lawn, hammock, oversized trampoline, multiple patio and deck dining tables as well as lounges.

Enjoy the retreat's beautiful seasonal pond and private mini mountain peak, plus a world-class trail that winds through a meadow and forest to a year round creek, caves, tall trees and up surrounding mountain peaks. In addition, Heaven on Earth is located less than a mile from the famous Granite Dells trail system that links into more than 400 miles of trails.

The Spectacular Suite feels light and soothing with walls of windows featuring inspiring views of trees, cliffs, lawns, pool and pond. Radiant hard wood floors and cathedral ceilings stretch throughout the Spectacular Suite with an elegant open floor plan centered around the Great Room, the marble kitchen peninsula and spacious cherry cabinet kitchen.

The indoor bedroom jacuzzi enjoys views of the cliff, wood stove, king bed and one of the two wooden executive desks. Touches of granite and marble are added highlights throughout.

The gracious bathroom features two side-by-side granite vanities, glass block shower with pebbled floors, a sunlight, swirled marbled walls and private window views of cliffs, shrubbery and trees. A second lovely bathroom is located aside the Great Room near the queen bed and couch.

Beautiful location and accommodating hosts

Surrounded by trees and flowers, this suite felt like an oasis. We took day trips to the Grand Canyon, Jerome, Flagstaff, and Sedona. A short drive to downtown Prescott made it very convenient to run to for anything we needed.

Heaven on Earth

The property had a very calming and relaxing atmosphere. Whirlpool tub was a highlight and so were the views. Definitely recommend if you need a recharge.

So relaxing

We had a great time and really enjoyed ourselves. I loved jumping on the trampoline and hiking. Fun to fill like a kid again but also had a really calming time in the yoga space also. Great time!

Absolutely peaceful

The spectacular suite is absolutely beautiful with lots of space and amazing natural light throughout the suite, The large bathtub in the bedroom is devine and comfortable. The property offers amazing hiking and gorgeous views of the Dells! It is absolutely peaceful and quiet, with great views of the stars at night. I will be recommending many people to stay at this property when they come to Prescott.

We had an amazing experience at heaven on earth! The property is a beautiful oasis. We felt very welcomed by Happy and Free. They were wonderfully gracious and accommodating hosts. The suite was beautiful and contained everything we needed for our stay. The pool was refreshing and relaxing and there are ample shaded areas, chairs, hammocks, etc to read and relax. My wife loved the yoga yurt and deck perched in the rocks overlooking the property. I loved the direct trail access for hiking and bouldering. What an amazing experience.

The pool is not as pictured. Theirs is a corrugated a frame around it. Very difficult to get in and definitely a different vibe. The hot tub has a sign on it that it is not for guest to use. If you have any mobility issues I definitely would not recommend going.

The solarium-covered pool warms the air/water to a pleasant temperature so as to extend the swimming season by several months. The Spectacular Suite has an indoor, private hot whirlpool. We agree that the overall property is not suitable for those with mobility issues as the terrain is uneven is some places. Wish you well in finding better accommodations anywhere else. Heaven on Earth is truly that!

This was the perfect gift to myself. Happy and Free have created the perfect oasis in the desert and from the stress of life. My suite was clean, charming, well-appointed and perfect for short and long stays. There's two private decks, perfect for coffee or a nap.The area is beautiful. The entire retreat shows Happy and Free's reverence for nature. They were just the best hosts and did everything to make sure my stay left nothing to be desired. I will definitely go back.

A Perfect August Getaway at Haven on Earth ResortWe had the absolute pleasure of staying at Haven on Earth Resort in Prescott, AZ, hosted by the wonderful Happy and Free. It was truly the best August we’ve ever spent—a perfect blend of fun, relaxation, and unforgettable experiences.Our days were filled with kayaking, playing golf, hiking, exploring fascinating art and history museums, visiting casinos, and enjoying a fantastic walking tour of Prescott’s Motion Picture History. We swam and relaxed in the resort’s intimate, peaceful pool nearly every day, attended three wonderful concerts, and even experienced the Cowboy Poetry and Music Gathering—a unique highlight of the trip.Prescott itself is such a gem, especially when it comes to dining. We were amazed by the incredible variety and quality of restaurants—every meal was a treat!Our hosts, Happy and Free, made the stay even more special. They were warm, welcoming, and so knowledgeable about the area. Conversations with them were always engaging, and we truly feel we’ve gained lifelong friends. The resort itself is quaint and serene, and the other guests were just as friendly and enjoyable to be around.

It's a cute one-bedroom location. The stairs are not ADA-friendly, and the location is shared by other suites within the same building. The water source must be shared within the units because every time we tried to use the hot tub the water was always cold if not freezing. Management claims to have a 24/7 contact. We found this not to be true as both myself and my husband attempted to text management/owner to no avail during our experience. The only time they did communicate with us was when they thought we owed them additional money, which was not the case, and they fortunately did admit to that. We only stayed Friday through Sunday, and the only amenities we took advantage of was the in-house massage therapist, who is amazing and I definitely would recommend! And the aforementioned hot tub. It was very serene, beautiful, and peaceful.

Yes, indeed the Spectacular Suite is elegant, cute and adorable featuring a king bedroom, two bathrooms plus an additional queen bed in the light soothing wood-floored Great Room that feels magnificent due to it being 40 ft long with a 20' cathedral ceiling and lots of view windows. This is the first time we hosted a guest who was not well. We didn't realize that she had limitations. As listed, our home is not set up for handicap or wheelchair access. It's an important reminder that as our special guest, we request that you read all the details of our listing that may concern you. Seven beautiful flagstone steps lead easily and graciously to up the double glass door front deck entrance with a railing exquisitely wrapped in living vines while flowering potted plants add lovely living color most months as you amble up the Spectacular Suite steps. To clarify, the other very private suite in our spacious flagstone home is accessed only on the very opposite side of the home with no shared entrance way whatsoever. Like the Spectacular Suite, it also features its own private patio, private deck, and private entrance adorned by gardens, boulders, canyon views, cliff views and magnificent trees. Sadly, this guest did not follow the instructions on the jacuzzi: heat up the water by simply pressing a button on the top. Only on a very rare occasion is the longterm neighbor filling the jacuzzi at the exact same moment. Even in that rare case, it takes only 15 minutes to recharge the 100 gallon tank. We are glad that this guest eventually read the simple instruction, so she was able to enjoy the wonderful hot tub that is, as she wrote, is "very serene, beautiful and peaceful." We are sorry that our response time was surprisingly delayed. We were cruising across the Caribbean Sea where the shipboard internet was occasionally strangely spotty. We love our job hosting wonderful people from around the world. We love all of our guests and love to respond to our guests several times a day. We tried our best, though did not know that there would be no signal on a cruise ship. We are home now for a very long time to come without going on any vacation except for enjoying our every day staycation right here! We welcome you warmly to Heaven on Earth Retreat, Prescott's paradise in the gorgeous Granite Dells! :)

Everything about the property is so thoughtfully put together. We only had a one night stay, but adored the hikes in the vicinity as well as the spectacular jacuzzi. Although the stay was short, its effects will be long-lasting. Will certainly be back :)

it is „heaven on earth“

Es war traumhaft! Alles hat gestimmt, von der wunderschönen Lage bis zu den herzlichen Gastgebern. Man kommt an und ist direkt tiefenentspannt. Der Ort, das Haus … einfach magic. Wir hoffen, dass wir es schaffen, nochmals wiederzukommen. Selbst die verregneten Abende haben wir in dem gemütlichen Haus mit der grossen Badewanne genossen. Happy und Free sind so tolle Menschen, sie haben uns gute Tipps gegeben, haben sich immer erkundigt, ob wir irgendetwas brauchen. Ich kann jedem, der einfach mal ein paar Tage sein Leben entschleunigen möchte , dieses Plätzchen Erde nur empfehlen. Absolut 6 von 5 Sternen. Danke für Alles … hoffe, wir schaffen es, nochmal hier hin zurück zu kommen

Happy and Free love to host guests from around the world! When we are not on some international travel adventure ourselves, we are usually home next door gardening and gladly at your service 24/7.

As an Adventure Anthropologist, Happy has lived abroad for more than a decade, mostly out of a backpack, sometimes with tribal families, volunteering wherever she roamed. She enjoys speak various languages with treasured guests.

When not hosting guests, Happy and Free love to travel together, We have explored about 70 countries and are just getting started!

Free is the author of several books including the Sovereign's Handbook series and Dawning of the Corona Age while Happy is the author of Uncivilized Ecstasies, New Zealand's best-selling adventure poetry book, and Bliss Conscious Communication, the first in its field. Both Happy and Free enjoy writing songs, playing music and engaging in creative art projects.

Happy is the Granite Dells Guide, specializing in short, fun, easy, affordable excursions in the spectacular wilderness surrounding Heaven on Earth sanctuary as well as paddle-boarding the beautiful nearby lakes. 5 inflatable SUPs are available for rent at just $30/day.

Trail Hikes with Happy are 60 - 90 minute mini adventures that begin right from your Spectacular Suite through the meadow and forest to a creek, pond, cave and optionally up a mountaintop while enjoying birds, flora, fauna and nature's beauty.

Perhaps you would like to master the art of relaxation, doing as little as possible. The hammocks and lounges scattered throughout the patios, decks and lawns may be your favorite places.

Ask us if you'd like to book a wonderfully deep, relaxing in-house massage in advance to enhance your relaxation ($100/hr in your space). Try the Amazing Buffing ($40 for 20 min) if you'd like an even deeper massage!

The Granite Dells is widely considered the most astonishingly beautiful part of Prescott with surreal Watson Lake and Willow Lakes just 1 to 2 miles away by foot, bicycle or vehicle. The Spectacular Suite in Heaven on Earth Retreat is surrounded by hundreds of miles of various levels of world-class hiking, running and bicycling trails. Granite Dells is also famous as a rock climbing paradise. The Spectacular Suite is fully furnished and gracefully appointed with the high ceilings, heated wood floors throughout, glass doored wood stove, central AC & heat, spacious king bedroom with with executive desk plus a second desk in the great room. In addition, a queen bed lives at the far end of the great room.

The Spectacular Suite also features two beautiful bathrooms, real cherry wood kitchen cabinets with views from the sink and dining table and peninsula of the cliffs, patios, decks, and solarium-heated small swimming pool (season: April to Oct). Enjoy the hammock, tall trees, fruit trees, herbs, lawns beneath dappled sunlight, visiting wildlife, seasonal pond and island, and the retreat's canyon trail that leads to nearby Granite Creek, caves, mountain peaks and the outlandishly-gorgeous Granite Gardens Trails.

Prescott Airport is conveniently located 4 miles away with daily flights to LAX (Los Angeles) and DEN (Denver) via United.

Prescott is also renowned for its friendly citizens, peaceful motor-free lakes, 470 miles of mountain trails, vast Ponderosa pine forests, hiking, biking, pickle ball, myriad clubs, and fun downtown night life with bands, art, theater and festive activities on the downtown square for the entire family throughout the summer.
