You will fall in love with this sweet family-friendly cottage, close to all the action and a peaceful retreat. Five minutes from downtown Benton Harbor, the golf course at Harbor Shores, and the beach in St. Joe's, it is a great location for a get-away!

The Joyce House is on a quiet cul-de-sac set away from the main road. It sits on an acre with a large yard, great front porch, and a tree-lined creek on one side.

All the amenities a family needs are included: pack-and-play, toddler bed, infant bathtub, play table, high chair, pet bowls, and a dog chain in the backyard. Make memories with your stay here!

Was a great house for staying at for my daughter’s wedding in town. Very close to beaches and downtown. Very accommodating for pets. Host was somewhat tricky to get in touch with before our stay with questions we had, but everything in the house was well stocked and rules for house and handouts in things in the area were really helpful. Definitely would stay again

The house is so much more beautiful in person. The pictures don't do it justice. The kitchen & bathrooms are fully stocked with everything that you need. The house is very welcoming to small children and pets. I had great communication with the host Mollie. We would definitely stay at Joyce House again!

I feel this is one of the better properties we have stayed in. The air conditioning worked great which has been a problem in another one we stayed. The check in was good with the welcome package. The house was clean And had everything we needed in the kitchen. The master bedroom we stayed in had a comfortable bed, as we are getting older that’s a plus for us. Overall we enjoyed the house and the area. Would recommend.

Nice and Quiet

Our stay was enjoyable and quiet. The house is definitely geared toward children which worked out great. All of the cousins shared a room, bringing some much needed peace for the parents. I would recommend this home for families wanting to stay somewhere quiet and out of the way, but still close to the beach and other activities in town.

Comfortable Home in quiet neighborhood

The Joyce House had a very nice energy about it. The inside was very clean and had everything we needed. There was a nice supply of linens and towels. This is a family friendly home tfor children and animals. A few things that were ok: The yard was just mowed so haylike grass was all over the yard. Also, the patio furniture was not very clean. A few suggestions are to upgrade the shower head (it was hard to rinse long hair) and add a few flowers or plants and furniture to the nicer backyard. We had an event at Stonegate, this house was very convenient to the venue.

Quiet cul de sac

Cute home perfect for a few nights with a couple of kids and pets. It was nice to have extra towels and blankets available for use! Nice and quiet cul de sac that is along the woods. No fenced in yard, but the dogs enjoyed the extra scents!

Quiet neighborhood and easy access to beaches.

Comfortable house, easy access to beaches, house was roomy with a large kitchen. We enjoyed sitting outside on the porch. Overall a great location. Very close to St. Joe. We liked being able to park our car in the garage.

More comfortable than expected

Great house, lots of room for 2 families! Very well organized, clean and comfortable. The living room could have used a more comfortable couch but we didn't spend much time indoors anyway.

Perfect Girls Getaway

We had an amazing long weekend with my sister in laws for a husband and kid free weekend. It’s a perfect location just minutes from st joe and minutes away from many wineries. Mollie is so easy to communicate with and kept us up to date on everything. Bathrooms and bedrooms are spacious and didn’t feel like we were cramped. Loved all the amenities for kiddos. We are keeping it in our list if we want to bring the family with us sometime!

A Joyful Stay at the Joyce House

Our weekend stay at the Joyce House was absolutely delightful! The house's location near-to-town offered my group plenty of fun activities to do during the day and welcomed privacy at night. The nearby beaches were beautiful and the activities the host recommended were all around hits. From the local farmers market, to an adorable breakfast spot, to a retro bowling alley that served the best ciders, we enjoyed ourselves on every outting. We also loved walking around downtown St. Jospeh's and stumbling upon unique stores and restaurants to try. Additionally, staying in at night watching movies and gathering around the outside fireplace made for some truly memorable moments. The house was clean, well-stocked, and perfectly decorated, with plenty of space for my group of six adults. I will certainly be returning to Benton Harbor and St. Joseph's in the future and look forward to another fantastic stay at the Joyce House.

Great place

House was great and worked well for us as we had a wedding at nearby Stonegate Manor. House was clean and well stocked with towels, toilet paper. Did have some issues with smoke alarms chirping and no one could come to the house until the following day so we had to disconnect them all. Other than that it was super!!

Perfect for what we needed!

The Joyce House was the perfect find for us! It was a 4 minute drive from Stonegate Manor which is where we had a wedding to attend. The beds were comfy, the kitchen and bathrooms had everything we needed. The firepit was a wonderful surprise to hang out around on a beautiful fall night. Will definitely stay again when in the area!

Fantastic Summer Getaway

We had a wonderful time at the Joyce house! The location was minutes from beautiful lake michigan and lovely St. Joseph. It was wonderful to be so close to parks, shopping, beach and amenities yet in a quiet neighborhood, tucked away. The host was incredibly responsive and very attentive to any inquiry. She had great suggestions on beaches and restaurants. The home was extremely comfortable and had everything we would need from beach towels to boogie boards. Beds were comfortable, everyone slept well. Will definitely stay here again!

We fell in love with St. Joe's and Benton Harbor after vacationing in the area several times through the pandemic. We decided to purchase a vacation home in the area to use for our family and rent out during the busy summer months.

We stayed in a rental down the street from here several times and loved the convenience to everything, while still being separate and feeling like you are in a neighborhood and away from hustle and bustle.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

The front porch was the first thing we loved about this home and frequently sit and watch fireflies when we are visiting in the summer. The spacious rooms and open-concept living space are also very convenient for families who may be traveling with kids or together with multiple children.
