Duplex nestled in a quiet neighborhood in a very convenient location with easy access to Kansas City and Topeka. Close to the hospital and historic downtown! The duplex has a fully equipped kitchen, with pots, utensils, dishes, all small kitchen appliance for your convenience. This home can only be booked for 30+ days, as per City of Lawrence restrictions.

Nice stay

The home was clean and comfortable. We would stay there again. There was some road construction in the area that made getting around challenging, but that is no fault of the property.

Quiet neighborhood close to hospital

We visited from Idaho to see a family member admitted to the Lawrence Memorial hospital. It was clean, easy to get to and great communication with owner. The freeway is close by so there was traffic noise, but I slept great!

KU Classes Stay

We had a lovely stay at this property! My friend and I stayed here for 3 weeks while we took summer classes at KU and it was so wonderful. 8 minutes from campus, friendly neighbors, and easily accessible amenities. Would highly recommend this booking.

This duplex was perfect for our week stay in Lawrence. It was convenient to downtown and family. The kitchen facilities and laundry facilities are very useful. Having a compact little home to stay in was so much better than a motel/hotel room or a bed and breakfast. It is very clean and pleasantly appointed. The Kansas Turnpike is very close and the noise from vehicles was noticeable, but not overly loud.

The property was just as advertised. Monica the owner was very helpful and responded quickly when the lock box wouldn't work. She was very nice to work with and we are staying the next weekend also. Will more than likely stay next year during University Kansas Womens Soccer schedule

Comfortable and Clean in Lawrence

Our time in Lawrence was very good. This duplex is immaculately clean, and has everything a visitor could need for a comfortable stay. The property is located across the freeway from the university and the main streets of Lawrence. Being just above the freeway, there is some traffic noise. A light sleeper would possibly have difficulties. For someone who prefers to be closer to the center of Lawrence and/or the university, this property might not be a good fit. Aside from the possible location concerns, this is a nice well-run property.

Had a great time but would have changed a few things.

I had a lot of freedom and the check in process was extremely simple which I liked. All the reviews said it was really clean but I cleaned the floors when I first arrived because they were so dirty and I have a crawling baby so it needed to happen. I was about to use the coffee maker but I found microbial growth in the tank so I cleaned that out too then just didn’t feel comfortable using it. The trash bin outside was full when I arrived and I didn’t know when trash day was (it’s Tuesday) so I missed it. In hindsight if I asked I probably could have gotten that taken care of

Nice Stay

My wife and I traveled to Lawrence for a family get together. We took my 94-year-old mother with us. Many of the rentals in Lawrence are catering to, and centered around, the University. This one seems a bit different. It is a couple of miles from the downtown area. Access is very easy. The unit is actually half of a duplex. With two bedrooms, there was ample room for the three of us. The second bedroom has a very high bed, so we opted to give Mom the master bedroom which has a much lower one. The bathroom is standard. Plenty of warm water and good pressure. The living room has a large TV, but it is mounted high up on the wall. No cable, but it does have Roku. A nice table in the dining area will seat four. The kitchen is of a medium size, but the counter space is a bit limited. Still, we were able to prepare several meals without issue. There is a full-sized washer and dryer available. Lots of soap and dryer sheets. We found ourselves needing a delayed checkout, and Monica was very receptive to our situation, and willingly extended us the necessary time that we needed. Overall, this was a 'Nice Stay'. We travel to Lawrence often, and I can tell you that staying here saved us money and afforded us something other than sharing space with a lot of other folks at a motel.
