Positives - 5 good sized en-suite bedrooms, 20 min walk into town (road), plenty of parking, Teresa (owner next door) helpful in replacing some missing essentials and has rooms for rent next door if you need more.Be aware- this was previously a B&b so small kitchen & limited facilities if you fill the house (eg 1/2 size dishwasher, no toilet outside bedrooms, table only seats 8). We were blessed with beautiful weather but house doesn’t open onto the garden (shared lawn by driveway) & nowhere to eat outside. Also be aware outside area is not fenced if you have a dog or little ones. It may be renovated in the future but for now its one of the more basic places we have stayed.

Lovely stay.

The house was perfect for us, 8 people. The rooms all have ensuite which is ideal. My only disappointment was that there is no private enclosed garden area. This was my fault for not checking as it only mentions outside space. There are lovely gardens around the properties with tables and chairs that was pleasant to sit outside. The house had everything we needed. The owner was on site checking that all was going well and giving advice if we needed. Its a lovely location on the outskirts of town. around a 20 minute walk into the centre square.

A wonderful vacation home in the centre of Antrim

We selected The Coachman's Cottage as our home away from home while we explored the attractions of County Antrim and we were not disappointed. The property is well located for visits to the usual attractions like the Causeway and Bushmills. It is also handy to the walking trails of the Glens of Antrim and especially The Dark Hedges! Everything was as promised in the detailed listing and accompanying photographs. We felt right at home during our stay. Thank you Eileen.

Great home with a perfect location

My sisters, niece and I had the best time at Theresa’s home. Upon arrival, she welcomed us with wine and candy. She was very helpful about the area and had lots of suggestions on places to go and things to see. Her home was so homey and comfortable. We felt very welcome. Wherever we went, people spoke very highly of Theresa and her home. I would recommend this home to anyone and can’t wait to return soon.

Donegal family holiday

We had a wonderful stay the house was great. Spacious, clean, tidy and had everything we needed. Brilliant location for exploring Donegal and easy to walk into town. Theresa was lovely and very helpful.

Born & bred in Donegal Town, we live on the site of our family farm. Having dedicated the last 20 years to managing our own B&B & restaurant, we have decided to take a step back to enjoy spending time with our several grandchildren. We have completely renovated the property & are delighted to be able to open our doors & invite guests from around the world to enjoy the house & all its amenities. Our favourite time of year is Spring when the lambs are playing in the fields & the garden is alive with the musical melody of birds splashing in the garden pond - it really is an example of life at its best! When we aren’t away supporting our local rugby team where Albert played most of his life, we love walking in the local forests & along the beaches of Rossnowlagh & in Kilcar. We also enjoy eating out in the many fabulous restaurants in Donegal Town.
