Early summer in the lake region

The home is clean, well appointed and centrally located with great views of the lake. It allows you to venture not only around the immediate area, but also to the north.The house is thoughtfully stocked with extras, like binoculars and games. The host has curated great local spots- definitely check out Cedars and Biddy’s!There are a few issues. There is a quite pungent odor from the plumbing when the temps are above 15 and the hot water is HOT.Overall- a peaceful, relaxing and comfortable place to spend some time.

Perfect

The house exceeded our expectations! We stayed over the Christmas holidays and the house was beautifully decorated for the season. Everywhere we looked there were sweet Christmas touches. The beds were very comfy and the kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. We were welcomed to the home with a nice assortment of goodies including a bottle pf wine, local coffee and other local treats. We had two infants under the age of one and two baby cots were available for us. The location was great as the house is situated about 10 minutes from Donegal town and minutes away from two- 5-star hotels. It is a great location for exploring the Wild Atlantic Way. The view of Lough Eske is amazing. Upon check in we were greeted by a double rainbow over the lake! The property manager, Kristina, was very attentive to answer any questions we had. I would highly recommended this property.
