Secluded cozy cabin with modern amenities/hot tub/pet friendly/wifi

Take a step into the beautiful mountain country and enjoy the quiet and awesome indoor/outdoor living areas in this raised cabin out in the woods. With private pond access and gathering places both indoors and outdoors, this is a great location to spend time indoors cuddled by the wood burning stove or outdoors enjoying make s'mores. If you enjoy fishing, there’s a catch and release pond on the property. Ideally located less than 4 miles to downtown Berkeley Springs for antique/boutique shopping and the natural springs.

The cabin is 1800 square feet spread across three levels, with huge deck at the main level. It has been recently renovated with hardwood floor throughout. It has 2 bedrooms, 2 and ½ half baths, sleeps up to 6 and is furnished with everything you need for an enjoyable stay including Frontier Wi-Fi Internet and three TVs.

The kitchen has granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances and is stocked with everything you will need to fix a delicious meal. Gas fired grill is provided on deck for grilling enthusiasts.

Guest can enjoy various books, games and SONOS sound system available inside the home. There is a firepit outside with firewood provided. Also there is a six person outdoor private hot tub to relax at the end of the long day.

Great stay! A hidden gem for sure. Beautiful property. Very clean and comfortable. We will be coming back for sure. The owner was wonderfully responsive to my questions. Even had this little guy for a guest outside.

Lovely cottage in the woods

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay while we soent some family time together. The cottage was clean, well stocked with the basics for cooking, lots of towels , a nice hot tub and a foos ball table which my husband and grandson greatly enjoyed.

Great Getaway House

West Virginia Beauty

The woods here in the spring are so beautiful! The cabin is very nice, with comfy beds and a full kitchen. Having Berkeley Springs nearby was great for the spa massage.

Perfect stay in Berkeley Springs

Perfect stay for my daughter and I. House is very nice and everything (and more) you need is provided! Clean, and well appointed. The home is on a wonderful wooded lot away from any noise and distractions. Beds were comfortable and really, everything was great!

Cute and cozy

This cabin has such a homey and comfortable vibe to it. 10/10 would recommend if you’re in need of a peaceful escape - it’s close to town but you feel so secluded and free at the same time. Everything was clean and tidy upon arrival. Definitely planning to come back soon for another relaxing vacation.

Perfect escape from the city

Our family had a perfectly relaxing getaway in the house - it was just as it was listed. Communication with the host was easy and they were responsive. The house was clean and well appointed. We brought our small dog and the owner let us hook up to an outside 110 to charge our car which made our trip back to the DC area effortless.

One of my favorite things about the house is the location! If you havent been to berkeley springs its a must. Chalet Cree is situated just outside town and close to town. But far enough outside that its so peaceful and quiet. The home has plenty of space and is in good shape. Will definitely be making a trip back to stay again!

Weekend Getaway

We had a nice long weekend enjoying the fall weather in Berkeley Springs. The cabin was just what we wanted. Nicely secluded, but easily accessible, and close to town. The interior has been recently updated and was very comfortable. The kitchen had all we needed for for meals and drinks. And the hot tub was wonderful in the evening for relaxing after a day out hiking. Would certainly come back the next time we are in the area.

We were looking for a secluded getaway and we definitely found it. The cabin is completely equipped for everything you may need and more. A/C available at all levels, luxurious finishes, the hot toub was perfect and recently serviced/cleaned. Sonos sound system was a perfect touch while relaxing with a forest view. Would love to come back in the future. Thanks Dave!!!

Great off the grid location

The house is cozy and kept clean. We were disappointed that the AC was only in the living room and loft bedroom, therefore no AC in king size bedroom. There are great ceiling fans through house. Two other disappointing things, there was no propane for the grill, and if you plan to fish, the pond is right on the road. The pond reminded me of a retention pond with no easy access. If you are going to stay in winter, there is baseboard heat through the cabin but make sure you have a 4 wheel drive because the road is narrow and rocky. This place is perfect to left your dogs run.
