Nice propery and location

We had a great time staying at the property. Location is really nice, close to the mountains. Checkin was smooth and host was accommodating to some of our requests.

Loved our stay

The place is very clean and the location is great - just a few minutes from all the wonderful hiking and restaurants. We enjoyed the well stocked kitchen and bathrooms. We will definitely return soon

Perfect dog friendly spot for a weekend getaway

Had a lovely stay at this property. The house was well maintained and check-in instructions were easy to follow. Found this area to be extremely dog friendly!

Catskills mountains

Great location, very close to lots of hiking trails and Kaaterskills falls. Sandy has thought of everything for a fun weekend, we really enjoyed playing pool and darts in the basement.

House was wondering and very cozy

The house was great Im glad we got to stay there no complaints except one there was a pump in the basement to the right of the tv next to the fire place It was going to nonstop the whole trip we tried are best to muffle it but it was still pretty annoying so if you fixed that you’d get a 10/10 thank you very much for the place to stay

Wonderful!

Very well-equipped home! You can literally just pack your clothes and go because of all the extras in both the kitchen and the bathroom (and the fans for the bedrooms, too!) Very much appreciated for us to not have to run out to the store upon arrival for whatever we forgot to bring … we loved this! Comfy beds, spacious deck, and the basement with the pool table, dart board, card table and much more is a major plus. Great location with a spectacular view and walking distance to the town. Great communication, easy check in and check out, A+ 10/10 experience … thank you, Sandy … you have VRBOing down to a fine art!

Great location but note the below

I value these reviews so much. Notes: location is fabulous / owners respond quickly / house needs a good cleaning / plates, cups, pots in the cabinets needed cleaning before use (some really need to be disposed of) / coffee machine worked bring your own filters / bathroom was very dimly lit and the sink drained water extremely slow which needs to addressed / pool table old & could not be leveled we tried / no instructions on how to get the TVs to work / multiple garbage bags from other renters were left Outside not sure where the outside bin was to place our garbage so we left ours there too / water pump in basement was spraying water from tape used to repair it - owner responded quickly when we reported this and advised us to pull the plug on it. We made the best of the stay and were very pleased with the location just want other families to be aware

Back to the future

This is a personal experience so i hope the criticism isnt to harsh. First i must state the property of the house was wonderful, the view out of the back porch was surreal. The issue we had as a family was the house itself not The person we dealt with she was professional and kind. The first thing we realized walking in was the house was hotter then the july sun. The heat and humidity trapped in the house hit us like a wall of bricks. After contacting her we were informed that the house had no ac and we could use the walmart fans provided around the house. Sleeping that night felt like i was back in 80s when ac was a luxary not a necessity. Needless to say our first night there wasnt to comfortable. The only relief in the house was the downstairs game style room which my kids found fun but to climb down there is a trip itself. After settling into the house and eating lunch was another discovery no dish washer. Now i dont wanna sound entitled but if i had know these were the issue i would have passed by on this house. Unfortunately after 24 hours in the steamy house we had to abandon ship and cut the vacation short.. after reaching out i was told that a refund of some sort was going to happen. Its been almost 3 plus weeks and havent heard back after reaching out multiple times.
