Blue Ridge Mountain Air Retreat with epic mountain views!

Escape to this stunning 2-bed, 2-bath Blue Ridge Mountain condo at 4,000 ft elevation. Comfortably sleeping 6, this 1,374 sq. ft. space offers breathtaking sunset views from a private balcony. Features include a cozy fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen, and access to community hiking trails. Perfect for a serene mountain getaway in the exclusive, gated Mountain Air community.

Though guests won’t have access to the golf course or club restaurant/bar, you will have access to on-site hiking with over 6 miles of hiking trails and 6 community parks right there in the neighborhood.

More adventure awaits by venturing out beyond the neighborhood. The are a plethora of hiking opportunities, including Blue Ridge Pinnacle and Rocky Knob, Appalachian Trail, and Mount Mitchell, the highest peak east of the Mississippi. World class rafting and kayaking is available on the renowned French Broad river. Zip Lining, Gem Mining, Horseback riding and Fishing is also nearby. For winter sports, there are four ski resorts within 60 miles, the closest being the newly-renovated Hatley Pointe, only 17 miles away.

The condo is located in the quaint town of Burnsville which has a number of eclectic eateries, pubs and a microbrewery. It also has a vibrant art scene with galleries, a playhouse and various events throughout the year. Need more than that? Asheville is only 36 miles away, with multiple attractions including the Biltmore Estate, the River Arts District, and an abundance of local restaurants and breweries.

Amazing Views at Great Property

This property has an amazing mountain view and we truly enjoyed both breakfast and incredible sunsets on the balcony. The property is tastefully done as well as exceptionally clean and well equipped. Great long weekend

Wife and I snuck away for a weekend in the mountains and this was a wonderful spot. Loved the location, the amenities and the views were spectacular. The entire place was well-appointed and had everything you could need. Easy 35 min drive to Asheville. Don’t underestimate Burnsville. Great little town 15 min away. Will return.

First days of fall

The property was beautiful! We hired a photographer to update our family pictures during this trip. She met us at the property and we were able to capture great pictures without leaving the mountain air community. It was beautiful and communication with the hosts was great throughout the whole trip. Very clear directions and expectations and available if problems arose, which they didn’t.

I treated a friend with a birthday trip to Mountain Air. The Condo was spotlessly clean and well appointed.The westward facing views of the Blue Ridge are spectacular and enjoyed from ample windows in living room,master bedroom,and adjoining balcony.Note:there are stairs to climb (12) from front door to the living area,but then everything is one level.Highly recommended this wonderful host (Tina) and this property.

Beautiful Condo!

This is a beautiful unit in the unique Mountain Air community of western North Carolina. It was absolutely perfect for my goals of getting somewhere quiet and cooler!! The unit is so clean and well equipped there is no need to leave, but if you choose to, the surrounding area is wonderful for scenic driving and meandering. The pictures are totally on point, with one small exception. Upon entering the condo, you do have a staircase to negotiate in order to reach the main level. This would NOT be an issue and certainly shouldn't be a factor in choosing this unit unless someone in your party has mobility issues. Tina was lovely to work with and it's somewhere I for sure will return to.

Amazing Mountain Retreat

We stayed at this property for just two nights while attending my nephew’s wedding. It was absolutely amazing! Too bad the weather wasn’t amazing and cooperative. We had such an awesome time while staying here. I will say the best place I’ve ever stayed with VRBO! The Condo was beautiful and gave us a beautiful view from the balcony! It is very well stocked with everything you need to make your stay awesome. There was even coffee for the kuerig, tea and hot chocolate. The beds were very comfortable. I can’t say enough good things about this property. I will say though, that upon entering there are some stairs as soon as you open the door as all of the living area is upstairs. So be prepared for that entrance, but once you get upstairs you won’t be disappointed! Also, the owners were such a pleasure to work with. They kept us updated on some road closures and things to expect. They were on top of everything and gave us info as soon as it became available. Which was awesome! One last thing, there is an up the mountain drive, but it is beautiful and so much fun! Enjoy!!

Mountain Air has on-site hiking with over 6 miles of trails and 6 community parks. Our balcony has long-range mountain views and faces west so you can enjoy the beautiful sunsets. Check out Hawk's Ledge park for breathtaking sunrises overlooking the private runway.
