If a Mandatory Evacuation Order for Charleston County is given during the dates of your stay, The Owner/Host or the Property Management Company shall refund 100% of all deposits, payments and/or monies paid by the traveler within 72 hours. Owner/Host or Property Management Company shall have no further liability with respect to the Reservation. Please note that if there is inclement weather in the other 49 states, prohibiting the traveler (or guests in traveler’s group) from getting to Charleston, a refund will not be issued and, Owner/Host or Property Management Company shall have no liability with respect to the Reservation. During months where there is a potential for inclement weather, such as hurricane season, we strongly suggest travelers obtain insurance.

No Smoking Allowed. Violators will be fined a minimum of $250 for in-room smoke damages. Smoking is ONLY permitted outside of the property, but please try to keep at least 10 feet from the doors to keep smoke from trailing inside.

Firearms are not allowed in any of our private residences. Any firearms left behind at a property will be turned over to local police without notice to guest.

This is a licensed and legal Short Term Rental. Neighborhood quiet hours are from 10pm-8am. If violated the city will issue a $1047 fine. Guests are also responsible for following the City of Charleston's Ordinance rules under Section 54-227.

Our city is growing quickly. With that growth comes construction. Unfortunately, there’s nothing we can do about the resulting noise or the current, cosmetic state of some neighboring buildings. During your stay, this shouldn’t be too bothersome, since the city’s noise ordinance dictates quiet hours between 10pm - 8am.

10+ Day Stays are subject to an additional cleaning fee at host's discretion

Alteration Policy: Any change of dates or cancellation of any nights of the original reservation will not be approved within 60 days or arrival.

Please use painters tape if you plan on using tape to decorate for an event. If the wall is damaged due to tape removal or decorations, you will have to pay $500 for repainting.

Charleston Stay

Apartment was great. It was clean, beds were comfortable, nice bathroom /shower. The kitchen was fully equipped though we didnt need it . Great coffee shop around corner . Also great to have parking spot. Its tight getting and out but doable. Really enjoyed our stay.

Roomy, airy, clean

This spacious condo turned out to be more space than we needed - lots of room for family or two couples to relax. It was a little farther from downtown than we had hoped, but that was due to our unfamiliarity with Charleston when elected. The unit was clean and comfortable with modern kitchen and bath.

Should not be a VRBO property

This place is a dump. Floors are all slanted, dirty and outdated. Uncomfortable beds, leaking ice maker, small bathroom with no place to store toiletries. Shower water pressure was a trickle. Parking is almost impossible with upstairs tenants blocking you in or taking up almost the entire parking area. Dryer did not work our entire week visit and we were told to "just go to a laundry mat" by the 'Stay Duvet' company rep. We're on vacation and booked the place because it had a washer/dryer. Didn't want to take our clothes to a 'laundry mat' Extremely challenging to communicate with anyone to help with issues. I would NEVER recommend this place to ANYONE.

640B Rutledge Avenue

We chose 640B after reading reviews and viewing photos on line. The photos are well composed and are misleading. Our experience differs from other guests’. We arrived to find the house in need of cleaning and maintenance, inside and outside. The outside is shabby with paint chipped and peeling; concrete missing from the front step, and the front door covered with dirt. The door lock is temperamental and fortunately the homeowner was available to assist. Inside, the doors, frames and baseboards are all dirty and many areas have ground-in dirt. Light switches and plates are black with grime throughout and the worst is at the back door. These are so bad, they cannot be successfully cleaned unless the plates are unscrewed and removed and then scrubbed with detergent and a brush. We used paper towels rather than touch them directly. Window blinds and cords are dirty; the rods used to open and close the slats are sticky. The bathroom sink does not have a stopper, so l covered the hole with a dish from the kitchen to avoid unintended objects going down the drain to clog or be lost forever. It was not possible for me to reach the handheld showerhead because it is positioned very high on the wall. It is not possible to avoid a cold shower while waiting for the water to heat because the water rains down and it cannot be directed away. The king bed in the back bedroom sags and rolls with hills and hollows and is not comfortable. The beds were made up nicely.
