Welcome to our perfectly curated home. When designing this space, we opted for a perfect balance of style and practicality to make your stay pleasant and comfortable.

You'll find that University hospital and Rutgers University is conventionally located across the street . We are minutes away from Penn Station, 10 mins away from Newark Airport and 30 mins away from NYC. We are walking distance to many restaurants, the Movie theaters, Shoprite Supermarket and pharmacies.

The inside of the apartment was wonderful, it was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The Host was Awesome. The neighborhood was not the best, my family and I encountered noise from ambulance & police sirens all through the night as well as car doors and loud talking from the customers of the gas station next door. I guess if you are use to a busy city your stay would be great.

While the neighborhood isn't the greatest, the rental makes up for it 1,000 times over!!! This place was AMAZING!!! The apartment was immaculate, and had everything we needed. The beds were extremely comfortable!! I met the property owner as we were leaving and she was lovely - very accommodating. I will definitely stay again - and highly recommend.

The apartmenti s spacious, and thoughtfully designed, with a clean and fully equipped kitchen suitable for preparing and cleaning up after meals. The air quality is excellent, maintaining a comfortable balance of air, heat, and humidity. This was my first experience using the VRBO platform, and the host was very patient and communicative throughout the process. Please note that the location is in a less desirable area of town; sirens from emergency vehicles are frequent throughout the day and night. The host provides white noise machines and fans in each bedroom to help mitigate this. If you are familiar with Newark, this may be less of a concern. Parking requires parallel parking skills, which may be something to prepare for. There are numerous restaurants within walking distance, as well as a ShopRite grocery store nearby, making the location convenient. Overall, we had a positive experience with this property and would recommend it for travelers passing through Newark.

My family really enjoyed our stay here. We stayed for 4 nights and felt like we were at home. The house is so clean and cozy. It comes equipped with everything you need. The owners are amazing and make you feel welcome and comfortable. Very spacious and convenient. It’s street parking, but that was never an issue. There was always a spot very close to the entrance of the home. My family will definitely book this place again on our next trip to New Jersey/New York. Commuting to New York was very easy, especially if you’re willing to take the subway. It’s only a 10-minute drive to the Newark Penn Station with nearby parking of less than 20 for 24 hours. If you’re looking for somewhere to stay in the Newark area, look no further, you won’t be disappointed. Having a clean home and wonderful owners is always a plus!!!

The property was excellent. The entire apartment was very clean and tidy. Exactly as pictured. My family and I had a wonderful stay. The host could not have been more hospitable. The only negative thing is the neighborhood the place is located, right next to a large hospital. So it does get a bit noisy. Nothing us city folk aren't use to though.

Beautiful interior and clean. Exterior was very sketchy. Street parking made moving in difficult. Had to walk quite a ways in the dark with our luggage and lots of sketchy individuals along the streets that verbally harassed me and my friends. Next to hospital and sirens were nonstop. Backs to gas station with a ton of questionable people. Ended up leaving to stay in a hotel in NYC. If you book this be cautious of location, location, location.

Superb accommodation

A great apartment that leaves nothing to be desired. Plenty of space for six people and fantastic facilities. A spacious kitchen with everything you could wish for in a vacation apartment. Three bedrooms with very comfortable beds and enough space for suitcases and all your belongings. Two bathrooms that are beautifully furnished and leave nothing to be desired. This is exactly the kind of accommodation you want for a few days. We wish you continued success and will be happy to return. Jan & Family

Perfect fit

Good location, although you would want to be aware in the neighbourhood.Not far from tourist sites, easy Uber to ferry and/or trains to NYCApartment was comfortable and hosts had everything we needed. Very comfortable beds, clean and no clutter of house decor.

Spacious and Neat

The place just like the description. The rooms are spacious and there are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Living area is big enough. With all the furniture and utilities just felt like a home. The only concern is the area. It is a busy road with all emergency vehicles moving around all the time. But it didn’t distrub our sleep. I would recommend anyway looking for stay in newark so they communicate to NY and other important attractions.

The property is awesome, clean and comfortable. You're going to need your earplugs though as the sirens and noise from the street is very loud.

We enjoyed our stay. The space was clean and spacious. I wished there were TVs in each room and if the neighborhood was a little different, then our stay would have been perfect. Overall, we had a wonderful time.

Good basecamp for your NYC adventure

We spent the weekend in this apartment. There is plenty of free parking on the street in front of the unit. The unit is exactly as described and pictured. Everything was available in the unit for your family to be comfortable. If I were to return for a weekend in NYC, this is where I'd stay. It is basically right off the I-280. It's also close to the NJ Transit rail for even the unsavviest or public transportation users to find their way into Times Square. Others have commented about the frequency of ambulances but that's what happens when you book near a hospital, you are going to hear ambulances. They didn't bother us. There's a grocery store nearby if you want to cook. Gas station to fuel up before you leave. For what my family did over one weekend in NYC, this was a good place for us to bed down for the nights to recharge for the next day.

Spacious

Open floorplan with a bedroom for each kid (2) and a suit for us parents. Large dinning table, clean rooms and plenty of towels, bathroom and kitchen essentials, we didnt have dish towels. Street parking wasn't bad. Black out curtains in the suit were great to sleep in. As mentioned in a previous review, sirens were abundant but didnt wake us.
