Highland Cabin, A Dream in the Mountains. Come and relax during your much needed getaway vacation, and destress in the mountains just minutes from Helen, Georgia. This luxurious 4 bedroom, 3 full baths that sleeps 11 is ideal for those special moments with family and friends. Highland Cabin has sooooo many amenities. We offer a private hiking nature trail that leads to a private stream. We offer a private zipline in the forest. The cabin is equipped with a gas fireplace for those cold nights. It has a four burner gas grill with a VIEW of the mountains, and nearby couch, gas firepit, rocking chairs, and hammock. Downstairs, find yourself in the brand new hot tub with a view of the mountains and relax, perhaps some ping pong with your friends and family, or sit back and relax in the brand new theater with an 80” T.V. Feel like a little competition? Get your gamefaces on for some arcade competition at our FULL arcade. To top it all off, we have a private access to the Chattahoochee River, where you can enjoy a private picnic, perhaps some fishing, or for those that dare, a 4 hour float trip down the Chattachoochee. This place is for everyone. Highland Cabin has it all and a million dollar view. Sorry, no dogs or pets.

Summer Vacation with our family!

We enjoyed our stay, I do believe a pop up/roll up Canopy for the upper deck would be a plus,the Master bed felt like I was sleeping on an A-frame shaped bed which meant for some sleepless nights otherwise overall we would definitely stay again!

Hello Sandra, I apologize our $4000 tempurpedic mattress did not meet your expectations. I understand it might be hard to get accustomed to when you are used to your own mattress. My wife has a bad back, and this was the mattress that was recommended by her chiropractor and since this is our home away from home it was important for me to provide her with this mattress. Nonetheless, thank you for staying with us and for sharing how much you enjoyed your stay.

Amazing family cabin!!

This is a cabin that has everything! So many bedrooms with so many beds. Plenty of space for our families. Lots of stuff to do outside. Gorgeous view of the mountains. We would hang out on the back porch with the beautiful landscaping. We grilled out every night. The teens and adults played ping-pong, watched movies, had an entire arcade room and don’t forget about the hot tub. The host was amazing checking on us making sure we had everything we needed. When we arrived at the cabin the first day, they had a welcome present for us. We were definitely treated like kings and queens. We will for sure rent this cabin again!

Great Family Home, Beautiful Setting, Gorgeous View

This home is fabulous for a family!!! When it says, sleeps 11, the description is referring to BEDS and not pull outs or sofa sleepers. All bedrooms are wonderful. Three level home with one bedroom upstairs, two bedrooms on the main level and one downstairs plus a bunk area. The bunk area does not have a "door" but it's perfect for kids. The property has so much to offer.....private hiking trail, zip line (safe & kids LOVED!), hot tub, arcade room, gas grill, outdoor gas fire pit on a patio and a wood burning fire pit in the side yard. So much to do in Helen, Ga even in the fall. Owner was extremely responsive and helpful. Highly recommend.

Mountain dream, yes it is!

If I could give this cabin 10 stars along with the host, David, I would! David’s attention to details goes above and beyond the normal host. All the amenities and little surprises were great. I have used VRBO before, but this cabin was perfect. The location was just far enough from town to feel like we were way up in the mountains without the drive. Our 17 year old grandson thanked us for bringing him to this cabin, especially when he hiked the private trail with the zip line across the creek. Oh and the deer family who came to see us twice a day was just icing on the cake. Stay here you will not be disappointed. Thanks again, David

Glorious Getaway!

My mother in law is from Germany and loves Helen. Her favorite thing to do is go get her “German meats” from Hofer’s bakery and to hit the hooch tubing. She turned 75 this weekend and that’s all she wanted for her birthday. So instead of taking a day trip to Helen like we usually do with her, we rented Highland Cabin and surprised her with a weekend trip. The cabin was perfect in every way. Games for the teenagers and plenty of space for the adults to relax and spend time with Oma. She is not an extravagant lady by nature and said she felt so spoiled. The view from the upper deck is spectacular. David and Erika are such generous hosts and have made a beautiful home away from home. We will most definitely be back!!
