Welcome to Porcupine Lodge, relax with the family or enjoy some time away with your friends!

Located 1 mile into Michaywé golf community and 12 minutes from Downtown Gaylord, our cottage provides ample privacy with empty lots on both sides, but easy access to 17 golf courses, 2 ski resorts, miles of snow mobile trails, along with dozens of bars and restaurants.

Enjoy the multiple entertaining areas, brand new kitchen, natural gas grill and the Michaywé indoor/outdoor pools, hot tub and sauna.

The Space:
The cabin has been updated to include a brand new kitchen with granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances (including a dishwasher), and premium cabinets. the stove in the kitchen and the grill directly off of the lower level are both natural gas, providing consistent, hassle free, and top of the line cooking abilities.

The lower level of the home was completely overhauled, enjoy the large space, the arcade system, and mini refrigerator so you never have to leave! The lower level doubles as a living/entertaining space, along as the fourth bedroom with the rustic farmhouse bed set.

The three bedrooms, first on the main floor, the other two on top floor of the home, are all spacious. The king bed fits perfectly in the bedroom on the first floor, allowing privacy and space, with a bathroom right across the hall. Both bedrooms on the second floor are HUGE, they easily fit a queen bed and a bunk bed without you having to feel claustrophobic.

The yard is surrounded completely by mature trees, during the spring and summer you get the feeling of complete isolation since there are no houses on the lots adjacent to the property. The yard also includes a large deck that wraps around 2 sides of the property, a private balcony on the top floor, and a fire pit for relaxing after a long day at the golf course.

Need to entertain the kids? or feel like taking a day off of golf? You can enjoy the yard games that are in the garage including the viral axe throwing game from Costco and of course corn hole. Added in 2025 we now have a pickleball net, paddles and balls.

A mere 4 minutes from the house you will find the Michaywe Club House that includes the "Inn the Woods" restaurant that is one our family visits often (the kids love the pizza, we love the burgers and the reuben), an indoor pool, an outdoor pool, a hot tub, and a Sauna. All of the amenities at the club house are available to guests using the key card provided in the house. Note: from Memorial day to Labor day only the outdoor pool and sauna are available (no hot tub), from Labor Day to Memorial Day only the indoor pool, hot tub, and sauna are available.

Guests are allowed to golf at the Michaywé Pines Golf Course, or at any of the other 16 golf courses in Gaylord.

Guest Access:
Guests will have full access to the property, the only exceptions are the attic area from the top floor (for safety reasons), and the owners closet in the lower level that is locked.

The Neighborhood:
Porcupine Lodge is located in the Michaywé private golf community, which includes access to the Indoor Pool, Outdoor Pool (Seasonal), Hot Tub, Sauna, Tennis Courts, Shuffle Board, Basketball/Volleyball court, along with miles of hiking and cross country skiing paths.

Getting Around:
All motor vehicles including snowmobiles are allowed to drive on Michaywé roads. The home consists of a single car garage that guests can use, along with a driveway that can accommodate 4 vehicles.

Other Things to Note:
The cabin is ready for snow mobilers, snowboarders, skiers, golfers or even just a group of family and friends to get away.
