Entire Home 6 Beds Sleeps 10 Pool Jacuzzi and Gym

Our home is located in the gated community of Alttus. This is a small development of 20 homes just off the main boardwalk which is called “the Malecon” . La Paz is famous for this large boardwalk. If you were lost and you asked some one where the “Malecon” was , (“donde esta la malecon ?” ) they could tell you how to get there and from there it would be easy to find the beaches, our home, the central area with Cathedral and town square with the restaurant district. This Malecon road’s real name is called “Abasolo Street“ and it is the same road from the airport all the way into the city, along the front of the city and by our home , then runs all along the marinas and out of the city 20 minutes to our really nice beaches which are a must see and called “Balandra , Tecolote and Isla Espiritu Santo”.

Great location and beautiful property

This beautiful home has a great location, wonderful hosts and everything exceeded all of our expectations. Our group of five was very comfortable in the home and appreciated the many helpful suggestions by the hosts and found all of the recommendations spot on. We will definitely visit again!

Good place for a short stay

Overall it was a good place. We had issues with hot water in one of the bathrooms and the sink in that same bathroom would not drain. The location was great and the pool/hot tub were a hit!

Hello Lisa thanks for taking time to write a review. 3 starts is a little hard... we never got any notice of these issues wich would be addressed inmediately. This is a big house and some times situations happen and we always try to attend that inmediately. I rated you with 5 stars because it was great having you but we think your review doesnt reflects the quality of our rental.

We enjoyed our stay.The property is a little hard to find, but overall the property is lovely and has a nice view of the bay. We happened to be there furing Carnivale and the party on the Melacon was definitely heard in the house. But that's not going to be a common occurrence. Alondra was communicative. We enjoyed our stay and would consider again if staying in La Paz. We had a 6 adults and one teen, and there was plenty of space for everyone. Really enjoyed the separate downstairs apartment as well.

Wonderful in La Paz

The house was very spacious and the amenities were great, especially the private pool and jacuzzi. It felt very safe and the location was perfect. It is any easy walk to restaurants and shops along the Malecon. We would definitely stay again and highly recommended it for families.

Alondra the host was easy to communicate with. She would get back to me within a day if not soon with answers to my questions. We were happy that we were able to check in early since we had an early flight. Thank you Alondra! The house was in a very safe community. The house was clean & just like pix. We spend a few evenings in the jacuzzi. It was very relaxing. We would definitely rent the house again.

Superior property and location!

The property is clean, well-kept and secure with a guarded gate. So much room! Views of the sunset were memorable from either of the decks. Pool and hot tub clean and clear - some days we just stayed home and enjoyed them. Malecon was only minutes away on foot, so we left the car and strolled every night. You're just far enough away to enjoy some quiet if that's what you prefer. Our host Alondra kept in constant contact with us, any question we had was answered in minutes. Well done! We will be back for sure.

Guest visiting rules.

Everything was fine except we couldn’t have nobody to come over to visit that judgement was terrible by property owner knowing we were all over 50 years of age and that we were not there to throw a ragging party just wanted to have some friends over but the property owner did not let Will not rent this unit ever again.

Hello Armen you were informed previous to make your reservation that you will be staying in a private gated community with controlled access, we request the names of all the people on the group so you wont have any problems at your arrival. Your reservation was for 2 people, so I need to send 2 names to gate. I can't tell the guard "they might meet some women and invite them to the house" as you mentioned. I offered a cancellation and 100% refund and you did not take it. It really hurt us a 2 start review over a basic rules that is commun in alsmot every rental place. If you want to have people over maybe a "hotel" is a better option next time.

I feel badly saying anything negative as the owner and property manager were good communicators. But—Neighborhood dogs barked all night and day. Painful to hear their whining and anxious barking. Also, the bathrooms all smelled. (Perhaps it was gasses coming up from showers or sinks if the house had been unused.) A few other notes…very difficult to find the place, esp as we weren’t told to seek guard gate of Alttus Residential. Google maps misdirected us any number of times. WiFi password on website is wrong. And no hot water in one of the bathrooms. And they could provide more towels.

Our stay in La Paz

We got our email to check in. Got the code and went around and had to turn on the fans and AC to cool the place down. Some of the ceiling fans did not work. The batteries were dead in a few of the remotes. So we exchanged them with our batteries. One of the rooms with the two single beds never had hot water for the shower. Would be my only serious complaint. For the good. Great location notified the property manager and did receive an email in return when we mentioned the fans. The kitchen was greatly stocked with plenty of pots pans strainers etc. much appreciation. The rooms were clean. Near our location for Scuba diving. Pool was amazing. The view was perfect. Loved the balconies, couches chairs, were all comfortable. It was definitely amazing. Oh I did take advantage of the workout gym below. Perfect for stretching, some lifting and maintaining for the week. Thank you for a great stay. Would I stay there again. Absolutely.

Beautiful huge home, great location

This house was a perfect place for my family’s recent trip to LaPaz. It is huge, very clean and comfortable, and has everything you would possibly need. It is located up a hill at the north end of the Malecón (a long boardwalk in town along the water). It’s hard to tell from the photos, but there is a view of the ocean in the distance. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the excellent Vrentino restaurant and a longer walk along the Malecón gets you to shops and restaurants.The house has 4 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, full kitchen, 2 decks with ample seating, a small pool and hot tub. The hot tub takes a little while to heat up but is delightful. There is even a gym! It took a minute to find it - stairs down from lower deck gets you to the 4th bedroom with its own small kitchenette and bathroom, if you keep going down the stairs there is a gym with lots of equipment - weights, kettle & medicine balls, & even TRX. No cardio machines, but I found it impressive and it worked great for us! The kitchen is very well appointed and served us well. There is a TV in every room. There is AC but we didn’t need it, doors open with fans was more than adequate in January. It is in a gated neighborhood with a guard 24/7 & felt very safe. My only complaint about the location is something out of the owners’ control & common traveling in Mexico - lots of dogs barking. Ear plugs helped to sleep with the door/windows open.Alondra was an amazing help, very responsive. Wonderful stay!
