Our charming cottage on elmhurst drive has been completed renovated. It has new siding, windows, window treatments, kitchen, bathrooms and flooring. We have put lots of detailed touches to make this cottage a place that our guests want to come back to time after time. Our home is located on the backside of Mount Mercy college in the heart of a neighborhood that has lots of cute character. You will see that the home is furnished with comfy beds and bedding, new kitchen supplies and wonderfully plush towels for showering. In support of our sustainability efforts, our linen policy includes one towel per registered guest. This helps us reduce water, energy and detergent use.

Wonderful stay - great house and amazing host!The home was spotless, very cutely decorated, and was equipped with everything we needed! It’s located in a quiet neighborhood and is only minutes away from downtown Cedar Rapids. Lynnaya is amazing - very friendly, responds quickly and provided clear and detailed instructions! I highly recommend and will book again if we return to the area!

This house was great for our weekend away - nicely furnished with extra amenities. It includes all the basics - towels, extra bedding, paper products, toiletries, and more. Check-in/out were easy and the host was responsive with any questions we had. I would highly recommend and will keep in mind for our next trip to Iowa.

This was such a cute house in a great neighborhood. It was SO clean and had a good amount of amenities. We didn't have wine glasses so we bought a set of 4 and left them there! We highly recommend this place.

This was a great place. Our group had 5 older adults in for a weekend wedding. It was super clean and decorated nicely. The only snafoo was the twin trundle. We thought there were 2 individual twin beds, but we made it work. Would highly recommended.

This cute cottage just down the street from Mt. Mercy College in a quiet neighborhood was perfect for our needs when we visited for our grandson's 3rd birthday party. Recently updated, newer appliances, comfortable beds, soothingly decorated and impecably clean. Nice back deck with fire table and grill that we didn't have time to use. Owner Lynnaya was quick to respond to messages when we had questions. We would gladly stay here again. Highly recommend. Thank you, Lynnaya!

Adorable Home! Super hosts!

We loved our 4 night stay at this charming Vrbo! The place is immaculate with all the needed necessities needed. The beds were very comfortable and all the linens and towels are high quality. The full kitchen and appliances are perfect. We loved the extra throw blankets to cuddle up with while watching TV in the spacious living room. The bedrooms are also roomy and we enjoyed the en suite in our room. The location is very convenient in a nice neighborhood.

Our home away from home!

We were coming to Cedar Rapids for my grandson’s wedding, I am 80 and a dear friend of the family is 88 so we very much appreciate the front bedroom with private bathroom for her. I was so nice to come back and visit together in the living room. My only complaint would have liked a handrail next to mailbox to help make those2 steps into entrance. Cozy Cottage...a MUST stay!

My husband and I recently moved to Cedar Rapids and made this cottage our home for 45 days! It was perfect for our little family and had everything we needed. The owners were very responsive and incredibly helpful with whatever we needed. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood near Mount Mercy University and about 10 minutes from downtown!

Exceptional Cottage

This cottage was so much more than we could have asked for! Had trouble getting inside the home so we contacted our host and she had us in within minutes. The problem was with the internet being down. She got the internet provider on the phone immediately and all issues were resolved. The home was immaculate, very inviting and cozy. The beds were so comfortable. We agreed as a family that this will be our home away from home as long as it is available when we return to Cedar Rapids to attend the Iowa game at Kinnick Stadium! Our stay was absolutely perfect!!!
