Relax right next to the water in this tranquil Montross getaway. Fish, crab, kayak, paddleboard, or just sit on the swing and watch dolphins, eagles, herons, and stingrays from your private dock. Dine outdoors on the spacious deck, spend some some quality family time with an in-ground trampoline, tree swing, cornhole, bocce ball, spikeball, and a unique custom-built treehouse. Or just stay inside, relax, and enjoy the views, with an indoor electric fireplace and jacuzzi bathtub.

Great for working remotely as well, with high speed internet.

A spacious deck with plenty of seating for everyone to dine outside, with gas grill. Hammock. Sun shade.

Tree house with lockable door, futon folds out into queen-size mattress for kids who want to sleep outside, slide, bucket and pulley.

Fire pit with 4 adirondack chairs and other lawnchairs.

Crabbing and fishing are great in season, right from the private dock.

Bird-lovers' paradise, eagles nest nearby, ospreys, herons...

You may use any of the amenities, including the canoe, two standup paddleboards (all under deck, with pumps in laundry room), fishing poles (2 adult, 2 kids), crab traps (2 under deck), 2 adult and 2 kids lifejackets, plenty of board games, etc. Just put back stuff back where you got it from.

Nice house on the waterfront. Listing needs better pictures. 7 min bike ride distance there is a beautiful community access beach, community center and pool for summer months. House is well equipped, kitchen has all necessary, gas grill, fire pit, in ground trampoline (favorite with kids), tree house. Host communicated well, no issues, would stay again. Suggested improvements: washer and dryer need to be replaced (old)

I had a short stay, but this was a great place for me. The house was clean and comfortable, in a nice and quiet neighborhood. I spent a lot of time reading outside, and saw a bald eagle, an osprey (I think), and several blue crabs right by the dock. While it wasn’t very hot during my stay, I appreciated the ceiling fans too.

We love it here. It's our third year. We had a question a couple of days in and the owner responded right away. The dogs loved the back deck. We crabbed and fished everyday. It rained one day so we played a game of Sorry. There lots of kid games and their own tree house. We we're thrilled to see an Eagle resting on the neighbors dock! The air just smells fresher here!

Charming on Potomac Shore

Everyone enjoyed our stay. One member particularly enjoyed taking a nice relaxing hot bath. The swing at the end of the dock was relaxing as well. The home is well appointed. Lighting was good for late night table games. Our group didn’t use the tree house or trampoline but could definitely appreciate them if traveling with children. Would definitely recommend this property.

Outstanding River View

As soon as you walk in the front door, there it is in all its glory. The River. Lots of windows and huge deck with river view. The house was well appointed. Add some wine glasses and coasters and it would be perfect.

Cabin Point Montross

Nice place with million dollar views of the mighty Potomac River and abundance of wildlife. Enjoyed the peacefulness and the Miami style sunsets. Hope to return again next year.

Relaxing

We came for Mother’s Day weekend to relax and fish. I can say it was a success. There is not much around to do if you are looking for entertainment. The house is set up well for you to relax and fish from the private pier. There are two private beaches with in walking distance. The house was well furnished. We ate at Angelos which was good and is about 15 minutes from the house. We drove to Kimmie Ann Bait and Tackle to get all the bait and table we needed which is anbout 40 minutes Everyone is so very friendly. We will definitely be back again.

Great Place to Relax

We came here to fish and relax and was not disappointed. During our stay, we caught stripers, reds, catfish, puppy drum and assorted bait fish. Aside from fishing, the house was well stocked, and the neighbors were very friendly. We vacation at a different spot every year and this house was one of the best we stayed at. Well worth vacationing here again.

Vacation

The house was well stocked with kids toys, water and fishing equipment, bathroom and kitchen goods. The area was very rural with nothing open during the week, only on the weekends. Unfortunately swimming was out of the question because of the jellyfish but luckily the house air conditioning worked well.

Amazing Northern neck vacation spot

Awesome stay. Pictures do not do the house justice. My kids had a blast spending every morning on the trampoline, slide and swing. Close by to some private beaches. Would highly recommend for a waterside vacation.
