What a beautiful place to come home to after a long day out downtown. Everything was clean and comfortable and the wood burning fireplace was the best at the end of a cold day. Our host was great and answered any questions we had. We could not ask for more.

Location was perfect! Close enough to downtown but still with a Mountain View. House was beautiful and had everything you could possibly need! Our favorites were the wood fireplace and gaming area. James is an Allstar host!

The home was lovely-the pictures do not do it justice! Plenty of wood to build a fire and enjoy how tastefully it was decorated! Christmas tree and decorations made it just PERFECT!James (host) was the best! He checked on us prior to arriving and after we arrived to make sure there was nothing we needed!! Cannot say enough about how he went above and beyond to make sure everything was to our expectations! The home was pristine and kudos to the cleaning crew! Highly impressed & recommend!

The kitchen was great and accessible for cooking and very efficently equipped for our needs. It was very quiet, peaceful, with a great location and a beautiful view (day and night). The place has always been neat and clean. We love the cabin as this will be our 4th or 5th stay. The host was awesome and checked in on us.

This was our second time staying at Living Color. It did not disappoint! It truly feels like a home away from home. The house was clean, smelled amazing and stocked with everything we needed. The pool table and arcade games were a big hit!You cannot beat the location. Tucked up the hillside so you feel peaceful and secluded but still only a short walk down to the downtown Parkway to enjoy the restaurants and festivities.James is a wonderful, helpful host We highly recommend staying here.We will definitely be back!Thank you James!

Wonderful Cabin

We loved our stay in Gatlinburg. James was an excellent host and very friendly. The cabin is beautiful and we loved the decor. It is close to town and the national park. James has thought of everything to make a stay very comfortable at this property. It was perfect for our family.

Beautiful views

This property has amazing views. It is so comfortable and beautiful. It had everything we needed and more. The pool table and games were such an added bonus of fun. Yes, the drive up and down is a bit steep but we got used to it. The host goes above and beyond with communication and extras. The check out was probably the easiest I have ever had.

Best of both worlds

We loved our stay at this property! You get the best of both worlds by enjoying the cabin experience with a view while being close to downtown. The road up to the cabin is a bit scary at first, but we got the hang of it after a couple trips. The host was very accommodating and the house was super clean. You will see bears at this cabin if the season is right for them. We really enjoyed the gas fireplace on the porch during cool evenings. 100% recommend this property and would stay again!

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful home with tranquil views of the Smoky Mountains. The location was ideal—just a short drive to both the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and downtown Gatlinburg, yet tucked away in a peaceful, private setting. The home was spacious, very clean, and well-appointed. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed for our stay. We enjoyed relaxing in the cozy living room after a long day of hiking. In early morning we spent time admiring the breathtaking views from the porch. Our boys especially loved the game room with the pool table and arcade games. James was a wonderful host and communicator. He promptly answered all of our questions and had very helpful tips and recommendations for restaurants and activities. Highly recommend for families looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in the Smokies. We’d love to come back!

Exceptional Family House in Gatlinburg

Our stay was perfect and we would absolutely book this home again. The location is amazing-best of both worlds. Close enough that we drove down the hill to a free parking spot (you can walk down too) and walked the strip everyday yet our home was quiet and nestled up a mountain among trees and with bear sightings. Beautiful front porch mountain views. My kids loved the pool table, video game console and tvs in every bedroom for rainy days. The kitchen was comfortable and had everything we needed to make breakfast every morning. The beds were all comfortable and I truly felt at home in this house which is hard for me usually! Loved our Smoky Mountain adventure!!
