New listing! Hundreds of 5 star reviews from previous site! Acres of beautiful, landscaped grounds and a spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean will greet you when you arrive at the Oregon House. With Cape Perpetua to the north, Siuslaw National Forest to the east, and Heceta Head Lighthouse to the south, the Oregon House is located on some of the most beautiful and dramatic scenery along the Oregon coast.

This lovely ground level walk out studio named Heron, is centrally located in building 3 right below the Eagle at Oregon House. Enoy the outdoors by opening a window and feel the ocean breeze and smell the salty air! The living area has a wonderful gas fireplace to enjoy and comfortable places to curl up in. After a day of exploring, settle in the king bed for a great nights sleep. This studio has a kitchenette equipped with a microvave, mini-fridge, toaster oven and coffee maker, amongst other kitchen gadgets, so that you can enjoy meals in or go find one of the fabulous restaruants located along the coast.

Planning your stay with additional friends and family? There are eight more units available at Oregon House in case you need the room! The Oregon House can accommodate up to 22 people and is perfect for either a romantic getaway, a business retreat or a family reunion! The location makes the Oregon House the perfect home base for exploring the central Oregon coast.

Vehicles: Licensed for 1
Standard: 2 night minimum; Summer & Holidays: 3- 4 night minimum.

Absolutely Perfect

Stayed at this property during our Oregon Coast trip to celebrate our 27th anniversary. The property was beautiful with the most stunning sunsets. Will definitely be back!

Not close to Yachats or beach

The room was nice and roomy (except for the bathroom). Very clean. Laundry room was also. Landscaping and the ocean view was beautiful! This unit was not close to the town Yachats and the beach is a lot of steps away!!

Beautiful place

Great place overall, cool private beach, nicely cared for, clean. The only issue I had was stomping people upstairs (hard to control that) and the intense fragrance on the decorative pillows and couch (I just put the pillows in the closet) and didn’t sit on the couch. Really sweet place overall and I will probably be back.

Sweet Retreat

This has been my annual solo retreat place for several years running. The studio space is comfortable and the setting couldn't be more perfect. The ocean serenades me night and day. I have only to cross a gracious, grassy lawn to reach the stairs down to the beach for long daily walks. I'll keep coming back.

Wonderful stay!

Overall this was a lovely location. Everything was comfortable and clean. There were a few little things that could be improved, but overall it was good. There is absolutely no cell service but the wifi works great (and there was communication about this so we knew in advance). We will definitely come back. The very private beach was a pleasant surprise with the added bonus of agate and rock hunting!

It was HOT!

This unit has only the sliding door and one window that opens, on the same wall, the west wall. It was hot inside when we arrived. There is a small swamp cooler in the unit but it did nothing to cool the heat. Suggest bringing a 20 inch box fan, we bought one at Fred Meyer the second day, to circulate the air and bring in the cool outside air.

Park-like setting

The unit was comfortable, decently appointed, great views of the ocean. However, the owner management fee was exhorbitant, and really drove the nightly price up way too far. I'd been curious about Oregon House for many years so we tried it. It's perfectly located between Florence and Yachats. There was a snafu when checking out...we we went out for an early breakfast intending to return and pack up. CHECKOUT is at 11am, but when we returned at 9:40, we were locked out of our room- code no longer worked. Luckily management staff were on the premices and let us in. Won't be staying there again, will stick with more reasonably priced VRBO properties.

Loud!

The people upstairs were extremely loud starting at 5 am one day. It literally sounded like they were jogging around in circles most of the time we were there.The unit desperately needs insulation between the floors. Also towel racks in bathroom are necessary. No place to hang wet items. For these reasons we can’t give an overall five star review.

Beautiful, Peaceful Location

The property is beautiful! Lots of greenery and benches to sit and enjoy the view of the ocean below. There are steps down to the beach, where we walked and encountered no other people during our mid-June visit. It’s close enough to Yachats and Florence to go for sightseeing, food, and supplies. We loved hearing the white noise of the ocean while we relaxed at the house. The house itself has a comfortable bed, sofa, recliner, and table. The kitchen includes a refrigerator, microwave, a small drip coffee maker (which took 20 minutes to brew) and a Keurig (which worked better). Also an air fryer and an induction hotplate. No stove or oven, but I wasn’t planning to cook anyway. The staff was responsive to questions and the checkin process was very well thought out and went smoothly. We enjoyed our stay! Thank you!
