We absolutely loved our stay. Everything was clean and exactly as described. The owner was kind enough to contact me regarding the stairs to the beach being damaged in a recent storm. He wanted to make sure we knew so that we would not be disappointed when we got there. I appreciated him reaching out. We will definitely stay here again.

Found the location to be good between Yachats and Florence. Was disappointed that the beach access is still "to be repaired " and no signs that it will be. The place was comfortable but be aware that there is road noise from 101 for light sleepers.

There were four of us, all in our 70s. We liked just about everything with the accommodations. My wife and I are Oregonians familiar with the area. We were accompanied by my brother and his wife from Tucson, Arizona. We had a lot of fun showing them around. Ate at the Adobe and Drift Inn, took in a lot of the sights and drove down to Florence to tour its Old Town District. No parties here!

Wonderful Stay

Our family had a wonderful stay. The home is beautiful and very comfortable. This was so much nicer than staying in a motel. We drove to Bandon and went through West Coast Game Park. We love this area. We went to Thor's Well, Spouting Horn, and Devil's Churn! Looking forward to our next stay!

Cute & Clean Condo!

The place was very welcoming upon arriving, very clean and new! Unfortunately, we were met with some pretty rainy days but the place was very cozy and comfortable and we were still able to access the beach safely and explore! The place had everything we needed and I loved the décor! It was great to have a separate loft area upstairs for the kids to play while the adults could visit and play games.

The listing said there was private access to the beach but it wasn’t until we walked down to the stairs, we found out the access was closed. When we contacted the host, she said “it should have been fixed by now”. We are very disappointed that it wasn’t mentioned in the lasting or the large binder in the condo with the many cleaning instructions. We specifically picked this place because of the access to the beach.

This trip has been so amazing. We came to see our nephew graduate from the University of Oregon in Eugene. We found this beautiful place to stay and it has made our trip all that much more special. We visited Portland and all the little places in between. We will definitely be back very soon. Such an unforgettable trip. Thank you so much.

Nice short stay — minor fixes needed

We had a nice, short stay here on our way up the OR coast. Great location, good size for us (two adults, two 10+ kids), well-appointed with linens and electronics (WiFi and TVs). A couple of minor things could help — a couple of desk chairs, some extra glasses and silverware, a pot/pan or two more — but otherwise worth the price. Beach access is a bonus — found lots of interesting tidepools with starfish and other creatures just north of the property.

Great Place to stay!

Loved the building, great view and surprisingly no real road noise considering we were right by the road. Took my aging parents and they loved sitting on the balcony reading looking at the ocean. Perfectly clean except I would recommend they clean the filter on the air duct. Also I would recommend a table in the upstairs section since there is so much space and a great view. Also they only had 3 cups so a few more would be nice. Otherwise, it was great!

Great spot for a short stay

This little house is quality construction with good ventilation and insulation. The nieghbors were quiet and friendly, and there's a bountiful berry patch in the parking area. The beach in front is beautiful, and we even saw a whale! All appliances were operational and clean. The door locks were easy to operate. However, as noted in previous reviews, the cleanliness was less than ideal. The property manager was responsive and wonderful with the one issue we experienced.

Poor communication

The house is fine. That being said, it's in a very remote location. You are far from everything. The main problem I have is not with the property, exactly, so much as it's with the owners/property manager. The people you communicate with make or break your experience.It is advertised as having beach access. The day of our arrival, as we were driving to the property, we were notified the beach access was closed due to repairs. The beach access was the only reason we chose this spot. Now, I'm not unreasonable, but it is only fair when the only thing your property has going for it is beach access, and the beach access is closed, to be notified in a reasonable amount of time to rebook. As we were arriving, we were told there was another beach close by. This property is on highway 101. There are no sidewalks. The other beach is a good 15 minute walk away. That is not the same thing.I feel it is only fair to be fairly compensated for the miscommunication. I was offered, after a good deal if hassle, a refund of 19.I would recommend you find another place to stay. Communication is key especially when you're on vacation.

Nice Rental With A Few Fixes Needed

The rental had easy access to the beach, was nice and quiet, had mostly anything we would have needed during the stay (it would be nice to have coffee filters provided). A few things could use some TLC: the blinds in the living room have missing slates and some are facing the wrong way and don’t provide decent privacy; the upstairs bed frame needs replacing, we planned to sleep in the loft originally but the frame up there is falling apart and didn’t seem trustworthy; the pillows need replacing as most are yellow and don’t have protectors on them; the living room tv screen has deep cracks all over it but thankfully it didn’t affect the image quality. Not a huge thing but we couldn’t find any silverware or coffee mugs until we realized the dishwasher was full of clean dishes from the previous guest. We enjoyed the location for the most part despite some of these needed improvements. Easy to find right off the highway, quiet and other guests were respectful, easy drive to town, nice little balcony (could use some seating) that gives you a partial view of the ocean, shower has good water pressure compared to many places we’ve stayed on the coast, check in and check out processes we’re easy (except instructions could use some clarifying as the ones in the email and the ones in the book on site have contradicting instructions when it comes to laundry).We would stay here again if some of the fixes were addressed.

There’s no cell service in this area so be sure to have everything together before arriving, such as screen shotting the code to get into the property. The beach access was absolutely phenomenal and very private. Although when it comes down to the property itself it is certainly overpriced for what you get. Upon arrival, the stairway rails were broken, the curtain rods were falling off the wall, dishes were not very clean, missed cleaning spots, it seemed it needs a bit of TLC. Warning the upstairs loft bed is stiff as a rock. The view is beautiful in the back windows and from the terrace. The bathroom is not entirely private as the door is on sliders and the cracks show into the rest of the house. The tv situation is very confusing, there are multiple remotes that are unlabeled and not useful when trying to work any of the TV’s. Overall it wasn’t horrific, although it was expensive for a two night stay. :)

Lovely house, great location.

Perfect for family with two kids, house is situated on cliffs overlooking Pacific with east access to Yachats. Area is stunningly beautiful and exactly what we were looking for on Oregon coast. Kitchen needs a few more things like baking sheets, grater, and a bigger frying pan. But, overall, we highly recommend this property.

Look elsewhere

The place is cute, but the bedding was filthy. I messaged the primary contact about it, and they were very rude and after admitting they knew it was there, and that "stains happen".. But in fact.. It was clean... told me to change the sheets myself. We paid a hefty price to be comfortable.. And this just didn't do it for us. I don't like giving out our hard earned money to those that don't care and that don't do what's needed to accommodate their tenants. Especially, when it comes to cleanliness issues! Not to mention, the soap dispensers were both battery powered and didn't work upon arrival, and the bathroom door had no lock/handle and rolled open all the time. Pretty disappointing. We told others to avoid and we won't be back, unfortunately.

Very nice but middle of nowhere

I wish the listing had warned us you won't have cell service until you drive into a town. The little home was very nice and the wifi was good. Very well kept and you can get to several fun places within an hour. The ocean view was a bit blocked by another row of homes and things around close early and the food isn't great. Overall nice as a beach house if you're going outside of the direct area to see things.

Good but could be better

My wife and I stayed with our two boys, and while the place was small, it was big enough for us. While it says it sleeps 6, 2 of those sleeping options are small fold down sofas and probably wouldn’t be the best option for an adult. Place was generally clean and well taken care of. The unit itself was pretty small (that was expected) but cozy. We liked the layout but the place would feel bigger and more functional with different furniture choices. Views were pretty good but not great since we were in the back row of the buildings. Walk to the beach wasn’t bad. The beach itself was great. Lastly, if you’re a light sleeper, expect road noise. Not a lot at night because of distance from Florence, but noticeable nonetheless.

Excellent Family getaway

Easy selection and reservation. We wanted to get away and experience the Oregon Coast. Location was central to many sights and activities. It was beautiful, enjoyable and comfortable. Served our group perfectly.
