Escape to this 4 bedroom/3 full bathroom stay is the perfect place for you to unwind with fast wifi, luxurious beds, spacious indoor & outdoor living areas, and indoor fireplaces in the living room & bedrooms!

In the morning you’ll wake up and enjoy coffee a cup of coffee in our sunroom.

Want to explore? There are lots of nearby vineyards, historical tours, breweries, and hiking!

Ready to get cozy? Turn on the fireplace and enjoy!
The space
Enter our home and to your left, you will be welcomed by our cozy living area equipped with a large flat-screen TV & indoor fireplace then to your right will be our other living room with a dedicated workspace and flat-screen TV that goes directly into our dining area and kitchen (fully stocked with all pots, pans, cooking spice, utensils, plates, bowls, etc.) Walk upstairs where all four bedrooms are located and you will find two bedrooms with luxurious king-size beds (one with an indoor fireplace in it and TV above it), one bedroom with a queen size bedroom and attached bathroom and flat-screen TV, and one bedroom with a bunk bed (one double and a twin size mattress). Located in the hallway upstairs is another bathroom as well as an additional one downstairs in between the living areas. Our home comes with free & fast wifi!

Was ok for a quick weekend getaway. We were a little disappointed that we couldn't use the patio furniture. It was heavy and shoved to the side and not clean. The kitchen and downstairs bath have no window coverings. We were able to tape a towel to the bathroom window. The house overall could use a deep clean. Now, not all was bad! The sofa was great for movie watching and the beds were comfortable for sleeping! Beware though, the bunk bed is a twin bunk with a queen mattress on the bottom; so as long as you sleep in the middle you wont fall off! Wonderful shops within walking distance and neighborhood was friendly and quiet!

The home was nice! It felt very clean, especially in the kitchen. A few things to note: The bed on the bottom bunk is a full/queen but on a twin frame, so make sure you don’t need two people sleeping on it or one will likely end up flopping to the floor. The outside trash can was almost full upon our arrival, leaving little room for our own trash and made the outdoor patio a little smelly. The host was helpful and let us check in early, but was slow to respond usually. It wasn’t an issue for us, but could have been if we needed something more pressing. Other than that, checking in was easy and the parking was convenient. It’s the perfect distance to walk downtown!

It was a beautiful old home and just like the listing states, very spacious! The owner was very polite and prompt when communicating with her. The local area was filled with amazing hustory that just added to our trip! Everything we would have wanted was anywhere from just a block ir two away to only a short drive. If we ever get back to this area, we'll definitely be looking for this house again!

Strasburg October Stay--Probaby would not stay again

The home is beautifully remodled and in a great location. Easy access to Strasburg shops and restruants. While the home is beautiful, would probably not stay again. Before arriving at the location I messaged the property manager without response and never received any sort of "check-in" message. While the "check-in" message is not required, is nice to have. The non-response to my message was annoying. The home is beautiful and somewhat sparse. It is also in desperate need of a good clean and some minor upkeep. The 2 front, upstairs bedrooms had food wrappers from previous stays. We had to purchase our own toliet paper because not enough was left. The beds are topped with a thin, poor quality top blanket. There are no additional blankets if you are chilly during the night or while watching TV. The remote for the upstairs TV was missing. Bedrooms have no bedside lights for easy-get up during the night. While the home has 3 bathrooms, the downstairs bathroom is really not worth mentioning. The bathtub is not usable, unless you're ok with the neighbors watching you bath. It is positioned directly infront of a large window with no covering. A major safety concern, is that there are several, non-functioning smoke detectors in the home. There are approximately 4 smoke detectors that have either been taken off the mount or the batteries removed.

Enjoyed our stay

We enjoyed our stay and location of the property was convenient to walking into town to grab a bite to eat. The house is clean, however it is due for a deep cleaning and minor upkeep which is expected with any rental property...just needs a bit of maintenance TLC. Mattress covers need a hot wash. We had a very hard time getting the key box open (it was stuck shut), the back door knob randomly would not work, and the only light in the front bedroom was not working. All minor inconveniences which did not have much of an impact on our fun loving group! As many others have mentioned, the narrow stairs...just need to be careful. Grab bars are located in the doorway. It would be helpful to have the stair edges painted white for safety for those nightly bathroom trips though;) Communication from the host would have been appreciated...even just once to welcome us or ask how our stay is going or respond to my voicemail about the key box (even though mid-message, I indicated we got it open). Overall rating of "Average+" in comparison to other rentals we have stayed. If you like historical homes, it is a charming experience.

Great location!

Nice home with lots of room. The location was great and a short walk downtown. The additional steps up to 2 baths and bedrooms were treacherous. We had issues with the front door lock that were not addressed while we were there. This caused the front door to blow open during a storm on Sunday night. Our first impression upon arrival would have been better had the grass been mowed.

Great gathering place

We loved the cleanliness and style of this large, updated home. It was a great place for us to gather with our adult children for a local family event. It was very comfortable with room to hang out together. Minor discrepancy in the description-we were expecting a shower in each bathroom but there were two showers and a cast iron tub without a shower. Lovely place.

Wonderful Stay-great family spot

4 generations gathered to have a weekend of peace-puzzles-cards and board games. We ranged from 83 to 2.5 weeks and what a great time we had. Strasburg is a quaint country town and this home is in walking distance to Main Street. There was a grilled cheese tomato soup festival happening which was a fun fall event not like anything we’ve experienced. We will definitely add this to our-“let’s go there again” list!!

Charming old house in a nice small town.

House has been recently redone throughout and is roomy and clean. It is within walking distance of the main street, a thrift store, huge indoor flea market, a microbrewery and the River Walk. All bedrooms were large and roomy. The scenery from the front porch and the local people were lovely!

Owners Alert!

On a positive note the house was clean and the beds comfortable. We however felt the management of the property and communication lacking. The master bed had no fitted sheet, only a thin nylon mattress cover. When I told the manager she did not apologize or offer to provide us with one. Most of the beds in the house were king sized; the master was a queen with its bedding dragging on the floor being king sized. From the landing of the stairs additional stairs lead to bedrooms to the left and right. The 3 stairs to the left were shallow and the last very steep. A true fall hazard as there was no colorful tape to alert you of the height of that step. All guests access to upstair bathrooms were up these steps. (Not senior friendly) We were 7 guests, 3 bathrooms with only 1 extra roll of toilet tissue (none full to begin with) in the kitchen a half roll of paper towels, no replacement. Coffee was provided but not filters. The grass front and back was near a foot tall and we left our garbage bag in the kitchen as the trash can was so full that it would not hold another bag. Leaving it on top we were afraid that an animal might get into it. The trash can was also left in the front yard...not a pretty sight when sitting on the front porch. I wish the owners of the property could be made aware of the lack of concern for the welfare and comfort of their guests my this management group. We would not stay here again.

Girls’ Weekend Away

Very nice & spacious and very clean. There was not a shower in the downstairs bathroom, just a tub. There was a shower in the picture. Not enough towels for 4 women and only one hand towel. We asked for more that was supposed to be delivered to us but never was. We did not have fitted sheets, top sheets were on the mattress and then a blanket for a top sheet. Very unusual. Otherwise the stay was very nice. Hopefully we left everything OK. There were no instructions for check out.

Great place to stay near the park

The house was clean and easy to find. It feels secluded in the woods but only the last mile to the house is wooded. Access to stores and food is easy. All 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom are upstairs. Another full bath downstairs with the kitchen and living room. I don’t do stairs well but was able to stay upstairs most of the time. I have allergies and nothing in the house bothered me! The house is bright and open. Incredible view of stars on a clear night!

Beautiful Historical Home

The accommodations were perfect for our family. Lots of room for everyone. Loved the charm of the historic home. Close to downtown shops and restaurants.Owner was very helpful with our last minute booking. Would stay here again.

Wonderful Getaway

Loved staying in this beautiful, historic home with our friends. There was lots of room for everyone, it was very spacious and the bonus was that it was a 2 minute walk from downtown. The only thing that was a minor inconvenience was that the third full bathroom that’s downstairs, the shower was something we weren’t confident in using just because the tub was older and there wasn’t a shower curtain. Other than that, it was wonderful to stay in for our trip!

Lovely home in incredible location

We had a mini family reunion here and the house was just perfect. Adults loved the well-appointed bedrooms and kiddos loved the bunk beds. Big backyard to play with mountain views, and walking distance to some of our favorite area restaurants and brewery (don't miss Hot Doggery or Box Office Brewery). Easy drive to Shenandoah and other towns like Front Royal and Woodstock. Shampoo, conditioner, and soap provided in bathrooms. Kitchen had a coffee maker and the grill outside was a hit. We'll definitely be back!
