Gracias por su interés en nuestra casa. Si estas interesado por favor pregunta por
1. Posibilidad de kayaks.
2. Salida tardía los domingos de 2pm, nos acomodaremos si es posible e incluso después de las 2pm si podemos.
3. mejor tarifa al agregar noche adicional en reservas de fin de semana (jueves o domingo por la noche)
Esta casa no tiene aire acondicionado, pero tiene ventiladores de pie y, en general, tiene una buena brisa de bahía ya que está cerca del agua.

Amplia casa con una envoltura grande alrededor de la cubierta, electrodomésticos de acero inoxidable, 3 habitaciones (una habitación principal con una cama queen, dos habitaciones con dos camas queen y un colchón adicional para la cama queen), 2 baños completos y una amplia sala de estar. Internet wifi y barbacoa. La casa está al borde de una pequeña reserva de humedales y está cerca de la bahía con vista a la isla de fuego. La playa de Smith Point en Fire Island se encuentra a 4 millas en coche con una playa de arena virgen.

Good Family house - pretty indestructible

House has very nice view. Beds are comfortable and there are plenty of them. House is comfortable but nothing fancy. Well supplied with kitchen equipment. Could do with more lighting in downstairs bedroom. It would be helpful to have some maps and ideas about restaurants in the area. Good access (by car) to Fire Island beach.

Fabulous Views at spacious home

We had a great time in Mastic Beach! The views of the bay - practically a bird sanctuarty - enhanced the experience. Large open plan home with room for everything & everyone. Prompt attention from host. Short drive to Fire Island beach. Would stay again!

Waterfront Porch Bliss

Native long islanders we've outgrown the ability to "stay" with family and rented this house to visit family and soak in the beauty of the east end beaches. We hosted a lovely cookout on the porch which has the most serene views and enjoyed short drives to the ocean beaches where we head to daily. House has a lot of space - only downside was no AC but even in the heat of summer we only missed in a couple of nights.

Mastic Beach Getaway Review

Overall the best part of this house is the beach that is about a 10min ride. The neighborhood isn't the best and not near a nice area for restaurants, shopping etc. The house was sandy from previous tenants and didn't feel sparkling clean.

Our first impression we were not very happy upon arrival. The house/furniture looks pretty run down. There is a pull out coach on the first floor. However, I felt bad for the person that had to sleep on it. We couldn't sit outside without getting demolished by bugs so make sure you bring bug spray. The house is much closer to its neighbors than I expected. That being said the property manager is very responsive and the house well feels like it has lived through some serious parting. I probably wouldn’t be so bitter if the price was reasonable but we spent a lot for a weekend. This is still cheaper than getting a fancy house in the Hamptons but if you are looking for the Hamptons don’t stop here.

Spacious with beautiful view

Big enough for our family, the house was perfect for us and we particularly enjoyed the terrace with the view. Although we were unlucky with the weather, we enjoyed watching storm Isaias and we will remember the experience as a good one. Downside we lost power for several days so we decided to shorten our stay by 1 night. Eoin contacted the power company several times to give us an update and refunded us the last night regardless if we were leaving or not. His assistance and kindness was very much appreciated.

Quiet getaway w an AMAZING view

This gem was exactly what we needed! Very private but close to everything we wanted (beach, jet ski rental, mastic seafood market) The house sits beautifully in 360 tall grass w and amazing view of the bay. Lovely waking up and enjoying the large deck overlooking the water. It has a big space but the rooms feel very cozy. And most importantly the kitchen was great for a house of 8 w a large enough table for us all. We will absolutely be back!

Beautiful Views

Great space for a larger group - enough beds for comfort and privacy. Lovely outdoor deck with plenty of seating and also a wonderful fenced in yard. Gorgeous sunsets from the deck, perfect for outdoor dining. Minimal furnishings (not luxe!) but perfectly adequate for a quiet and relaxing getaway. Beach nearby was closed due to Covid (check in advance!) but we opted to take a ferry to Fire Island for the day which was ~30 min drive away. Would stay again for a quiet weekend outside of the city.

Beautiful spot for family fun

If you’re like me, an unfussy house with soul is an attractive prospect. This well-designed, weather-loved wooden getaway is perfect if you want to enjoy a long sunset with a glass of wine while the little people run free in the yard. The management is courteous and responsive and the amenities just as described in the listing. We brought board games to play at night and food to cook on the large gas grill. Though the beach is nearby and easy to reach, we really could just as well have spent the day relaxing on the porches, which were built to accommodate friends and family. We hosted dinner for ten outside without a problem. We slept eight in comfort and we all said we’d be glad to come back and stay again. If I could include a picture I took of my sister - whose birthday we were celebrating - I would because she looks and was so happy. Thank you, Eoin, for a wonderful weekend.

Have a great stay in a quiet place!

I rented this house for 3 nights at the end of May with some friends. We weren't sure at first, but everything turned out perfectly. Eoin is super kind and the house is a great deal! The location is perfect because it's a super quiet spot, 10 minutes from what you'll need and from water island! The house is clean, has a barbecue outside and you can see the sunset sitting on the terrace. We definitely recommend the place and we'll try to come back next May! :)

Wonderful long weekend getaway space

Came in March for my birthday, it was cold out so we spent most of the trip indoors and it was wonderful. Very spacious, the kitchen is wonderful with lots of space for everyone to cook together and talk. The kitchen and living room are open and perfect for a big group to all be present and enjoying each other. It very easily and comfortably accommodated the eight people that made up our group, and we didn’t even need the pull out sofa! It was very close to a nature park which we took a long walk through. We also walked right down to the water for some stunning views and photographs. We couldn’t have asked for a better place, especially not for such an affordable price. We very much looked forward to returning in the summer months to enjoy another season inthis beautiful space.

Great Place!

simple luxury

We spent glorious 5 days in and out o this sunny and roomy house by the bay with fantastic views. We felt so comfortable at home just hanging out, cooking, having few breakfasts, even dinner, resting; what a wonderful place. The owner Eoin has been helpful and gracious with some questions, VRBO ever helpful with information I need; would love to come back in this place esp. during summer.

Wonderful bay side location.

Stayed a week in July and everyone enjoyed it. Wonderful bay side location. While the property is not technically on the bay, it was fairly easy to access the bay by kayak, and we had some great trips across narrow bay to a path on Smith Point, which brings you to the ocean front beach. The house was comfortable for the extended family with everything we needed to cook. For those less adventurous it is an easy drive over to Smith Point Beach, which was lovely. The kids enjoyed the waves. The view from the deck in the morning while drinking your coffeee and watching the egrets hunting in the reeds was fabulous. A nice quiet piece of Long Island.

Great beach house

My family and I spent a week here in July 2017. Spent the mornings on the bay in kayaks and the afternoon on the beach. 5 min drive to smith point (great beach, food, drinks, live music). Very peaceful house with water views. House has everything you need for a great vacation.

Cozy house with great porch a short drive to the beach

Enjoyed our stay! House was as described in the listing. A homey place to sit on the porch with a cup of coffee before heading over to Smith Point Beach a ~10 minute drive away. Very long table with lots of chairs and a bench that made cooking and eating meals with a big group easy.

Very charming house and location !

We had a great stay in this house, quite close from the hamptons and fire island so we had the opportunity to visit both. Hosts were very helpful and answered quite quickly when we needed information. The house is fully furnished and very comfortable, and the view on the bay is really nice.

Mastic Beach is quite near the Hamptons without the Hamptons prices. Likewise for Fire Island. By staying in Mastic Beach you can do great day trips all over long island, take the ferry to fire island (30 mins away) , drive or take a short train ride to the hamptons (30 mins to 1 hr 30 mins depending on where you are going, east or west hampton etc), or drive into the center of manhattan in 1 hour and 20 mins.
