SALE DI MARE is located in the brand new community, "The Beach Club at Whalehead". Our newly built oceanside Villa is right in the heart of Corolla and conveniently situated across the street from the iconic, Currituck Lighthouse. Our oceanside community offers many amenities-

Sale Di Mare which translates to Sea Salt is colorful, vibrant and Mediterranean inspired with its added touches. Our Villa is a three bedroom home with two full bathrooms and one half bath (Jack and Jill bathroom between two of the bedrooms…not the master bedroom). Two of the bedrooms have king size beds and the other bedroom is a queen. Bath (sheet size) and linens are included along with shampoo, body wash, and hand soap. All bedrooms have smart TV’s, dressers, nightstands and walk in closets. The couch in the living room is also a sleeper for two. The house can sleep eight comfortably. We have an outdoor shower, an outdoor space for dining and relaxing, (including BBQ), as well as a balcony off of the master bedroom with really comfortable and cozy cushioned chairs. You can even see the beacon on the lighthouse blink at night. The kitchen has everything you pretty much need…including additional amenities such as a crockpot, air fryer, Keurig, regular coffee pot, an Italian espresso pot, lobster pot, dinnerware, etc. etc…

A complimentary starter kit is available for your FIRST night which includes -
- one roll of paper towel
- one role of toilet paper for each bathroom (2 rolls)
- one kitchen sponge
- one dishwasher pod
- two kitchen garbage bags
- a few Keurig coffee pods
- a few sugar packets along with a few single serve coffee creamers
- one laundry detergent pod

The dining area seating is for eight, the kitchen island has four counter stools and a wine fridge ( that would make a total of 12 seats to sit and enjoy your meal). Washer and dryer are upstairs. The living room area has a TV and the house of course has wifi. We also have a garage to store your beach chairs, coolers, boogie boards etc. The villa does come with 6 beach chairs, two beach carts, 2 UPF 50+ beach umbrellas, beach toys and 2 boogie boards to enjoy during your stay. There is a parking spot available in our driveway with additional guest/visitor parking spots throughout the community.

We are walking distance to restaurants, specifically Corolla Light Town Center and very close to the 4x4 beach where you can get a glimpse of the wild horses (5 minutes North of us). The pier to see the tranquil sunsets can be found across the street at the Historic Whalehead Club alongside the Currituck Beach Lighthouse. Fishing, surfing and swimming are just steps away. Corolla has one fully ADA accessible beach access with a ramp for beach wheelchairs. This beach access is located across from the Currituck Beach Lighthouse on Corolla Village Road. This beach access is the beach access our guests would be using. There is a lifeguard on duty at the beach. Corolla Surf Shop hosts surfing lessons at our beach, as it is a surfers spot to catch the waves. We are that close to Historic Corolla Village where you can bike walk and/or stroll. It is just a beautiful and peaceful place.

Grocery stores like Harris Teeter, Butcher’s Block and Food Lion are five to ten minutes just south of us. Lighthouse bagels and the Seaside Farm Market are a car ride away (also 5-10 minutes). You can find seafood fresh from the sea at the market as well as fresh local produce and homemade baked goods.
