Modern Rustic Loft Suite in Downtown Blue Ridge

This “loft style” designed suite located in The Penthouses on Main in downtown Blue Ridge offers 2 Bedrooms & 2 Bathrooms, both ensuites, plus a queen size sleeper sofa & offers full kitchen. Location, Location!! Walk to all the shops, restaurants/fine dining, breweries, attractions, points of interest, Blue Ridge Scenic Railway depot, city park, the arts center & more. Completely renovated boasting modern finishes that offer the perfect blend to its original unique character & charm.

This “loft style” designed suite located in The Penthouses on Main in downtown Blue Ridge offers 2 Bedrooms & 2 Bathrooms, both ensuites, plus a queen size sleeper sofa in the living room for a maximum occupancy of six people. Catch the “mountain vibe” as you first enter the entrance door as the foyer offers a rustic reclaimed barnwood coat and shoe storage area that directly open into the common areas. It has been completely updated and modernized from a recent professional renovation by Nathan Fitts, the building owner & your host, known for some of the who`s who designs in the area. The main bedroom features a king-size bed, and the secondary bedroom features a queen-size bed, both ensuites. The secondary bedroom has triple rolling barn door style glass steel door that opens the entire bedroom up to the common space adding to this open floor plan. The main bathroom features a walk-in subway tile shower with glass doors and the secondary bathroom features a bath tub/shower combo. The living room and kitchen areas have lots of windows all the way around, providing lots of natural light, overlooking beautiful downtown Blue Ridge encased in the exposed original brick walls which have been brought back to life adding tons of character and charm. In addition, the reclaimed brick walls, repurposed reclaimed barnwood from the original building is displayed on the accent wall in the living room area. The kitchen offers a combination of modern farmhouse open shelves and cabinets for storage and is equipped fully with refrigerator & freezer, dishwasher, microwave, range and has all cooking supplies and utensils as well as accessories such as Keurig coffee maker with a variety of sweeteners & creamers, toaster oven, blender, mixer, baking tools, glassware & dishes, portable dining tray tables, etc. The kitchen also is fully equipped and stocked serving as a wet bar providing wine glasses, martini glasses, champagne glasses, Moscow mule mugs, beer mugs, wine opener, cocktail shaker set & more. The living room offers a comfortable and cozy leather sofa and alligator skin accent chair highlighted by the corner electric fireplace and 55` smart TV to relax and unwind in front of. Enjoy tile and wood floors throughout plus the added charm of additional architectural features such as the exposed beams, wide wood baseboards and trim as well as other added decorative design elements.

This suite has its on central heating and air conditioning system allowing you to set and control your comforts. An extended cable package includes all the local entertainment, sports channels and movie channels or allowing you to log into your streaming service. Other amenities include USB/charging ports, alarm clock, iron and ironing board, clothes steamer, desk supplies, complimentary high speed secure network WIFI, complimentary guest amenities such as soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, Q-tips, and make-up remover kits and stocked with all linens. A laundry facility for guests is provided should you need to laundry clothes or there is a laundry/dry cleaning pick up and drop off service you can set up. Our suites are pet friendly with a limit of 2 pets per suite and there is a one-time pet fee per stay.

The location of The Penthouse Suites is in the popular historic downtown Blue Ridge area known to be very safe, however, it is also secured by 24/7video surveillance cameras, secure keyless entry coded access to the building and to the individual suites. This location is prime, prime, prime real estate right in the heart of downtown Blue Ridge, in the middle of it all including the shops, restaurants/dining, attractions and points of interest. There is complimentary shuttle services that you will see circulating around town you`re welcome to use as well. Located inside the suite is a Guest Information Guide that includes general and specific information, instructions for operating systems within the studio, emergency exit instructions, as well as information on restaurants/dining, shopping and more including their location business hours and business information. Smoking is prohibited in suite including cigarettes and/or e-cigarettes. The suites are located on the 2nd floor from ground retail level and there are some steps to The Penthouse Suites since they are situated on the top floor. Enjoy the peaceful ambiance of our small mountain town during normal business hours while the evenings will offer more chill and relaxed vibes. Explore one of our popular dining options, do some shopping or check out one of the specialty fudge, chocolate, or sweet shops. A wonderful scenic city park is just two blocks away, with wide sidewalks perfect for outdoor strolls, walking pets, or children`s play areas. The location is also convenient for visiting other popular attractions such as Lake Blue Ridge, which is less than five minutes away, as well as the Toccoa River and Fightingtown Creek, trophy trout waters, less than ten minutes away. The Blue Ridge Scenic Railway train depot is located within the same block just a couple of minutes away as well as close walking access to a couple of local breweries, the Blue Ridge co-op/farmers market, the Escape Room, local distillery, arts center and nearby galleries, The Blue Ridge Community theatre, pasta market, local gym and fitness facilities, Yoga studio & so much more. For those feeling more adventurous tubing the Toccoa River is less than a 10-minute drive and whitewater rafting on the Ocoee River is only 15 minutes away which was home to the 1996 Olympic whitewater competition. There are many designated hiking and mountain biking trails within a 20–30-minute radius including the beginning of the Appalachian Trail and the Benton MacKaye Trails. Whether you`re looking to relax and unwind or looking for adventure the Blue Ridge Mountains has something for everyone of all ages. A trip you will look forward to and make memories to last a lifetime.

This suite is located in a historic building located in the heart of downtown Blue Ridge, Georgia. It is located on the top floor (2nd floor from main level) and is in a mixed use area with shops, restaurants/dining, parks & recreation surrounding you. The businesses located in the retail suites of this building close by 6pm every day. It`s quite and peaceful at night even though you`re in downtown with everything within walking distance at your fingertips.

DIRECTIONS AND CHECK IN:

Please keep in mind that Check-in starts at 3:00pm. Parking Options: You can park on the street on East Main Street. In the evenings parking is easy because everything has cleared out but during the day it can be a challenge. Just pay attention to the parking signs posted and follow instructions. There is designated parking just for this building that you are welcome to park in if spots are available. Unfortunately, there are more units, retail and residential, than there is parking area so these parking spots in our privately owned area is first come first serve and there is no guarantee. However, there is municipal and street parking available to park in as well. Directions below.

Directions to parking on East Main Street: In Blue Ridge..If you are traveling from the South (from Atlanta direction), Turn Right at the McDonalds intersection (McDonalds will be on the Left) which is at Hwy. 515/5 (Appalachian Highway) & GA Hwy. 5 North on West 1st Street. At the traffic light at Mountain Street, stay straight. At the next traffic light at Depot Street, Turn Left. Go straight through the 4-way stop & cross the RR tracks. At the next traffic light at East Main Street Turn Left (one way). Travel to the building on the Left. #648 East Main Street – The steps to the upstairs suites are between the retail units (The Escape Room & Humble Pie)

Directions to parking with this building (if spots available – first come first serve): In Blue Ridge..If you are traveling from the South (from Atlanta direction), Turn Right at the McDonalds intersection (McDonalds will be on the Left) which is at Hwy. 515/5 (Appalachian Highway) & GA Hwy. 5 North on West 1st Street. At the first traffic light, Turn Left on Mountain Street. Cross RR tracks & Take 1st Right on Roberts Way (runs parallel to the RR tracks). Continue down Roberts Way. There will be signs that say “pedestrians only” with cones/barrels/etc. and a one way exit up next to the brick “Tobacco Building” (mural). Stay straight on Roberts Way going around or between the barrel/cones that say pedestrians only to parking lot on Left just before the yellow gate. If anyone says anything to you, tell them I gave you permission and you are renting one of my suites. Call me if you have any issues. There is a set of steps to the right of the parking lot that goes up beside the building which leads to East Main Street. Go left when you get up to East Main Street. Entrance to the suites will be on the Left. The steps to the upstairs suites are between retail units, Humble Pie & The Escape Room. #648 East Main Street

Entry: To enter the building there is a keyless entry. Press 8483 on the door keypad and you should hear the lock dis-engage. If you put the code in too fast or wrong a couple of times, the lock will shut down for 2 minutes just FYI so give it time to reset.

Very clean comfortable stay right in the center of town. Walking distance to great restaurants and the train station. Coffee shop right downstairs and a few doors down! The apartment was very well stocked with anything that you needed in the kitchen or bathroom. Definitely would recommend it.

Nice to be in this loft in downtown Blue Ridge. The loft is well appointed and looks amazing. Convenient to everything in town. Great value for the price!
