The house is even more spacious than is described! We were four couples: Us, our three married sons and three little grandchildren, and we all had plenty of room to spread out in. All the different spaces were comfortable and charming. Loved the cabin! All the comforts with a ‘Minnesota cabin’ feel! Quiet and peaceful certainly describes it. The kids enjoyed dock fishing.Definitely will book again for next year.

This is our second stay at the property. It is an amazing property for the price. Between the house and cabin there is plenty of room for everyone, we had 10 adults and 4 kids—ages 17, 15, 10, 7. Excellent fishing from the dock and on the lake. Kids enjoyed tubing and wake boarding. The open layout makes it easy to play games and hang out with everyone. Communication with the host was excellent. We had deer come through the yard and saw a bear swimming across the lake. Would definitely come back and stay if we have our smaller group again. Thank you

Very peaceful cabin on a secluded corner of the lake. We heard and saw loons every day! Lovely space to rest and relax with a big yard and plenty of trees and shade to enjoy. So much room to spread out between the two cabins. We loved using the paddle boat, kayaks, and paddleboards. The kids enjoyed fishing, yard games, and the basketball hoop. Very little boat traffic on the lake which added to the tranquility. The kitchen is incredibly well stocked with every tool you could need all in good condition. Each room is quiet and comfortable. The main drawbacks were that the swimming area off the dock was mucky and weedy. We had to paddle out to be able to swim in clear water. Also, the basement sleeping area in the main cabin smelled musty and felt damp the whole stay even while the weather was mostly dry.

This place has it all, we were very satisfied with our stay. The property was very clean and had so much space for our group. Would recommend to anyone looking for family getaway.

We had a wonderful time. The house and cabin had so much space and plenty of sleeping options for all 14 of us. Check in was a breeze and the place was very clean and well kept. The water amenities were a huge hit as well. Highly recommend this property!

The pictures do not do this rental justice. There is so much space! We had 3 families totalling 13 people and never felt cramped. The large driveway was perfect for several vehicles and 2 boat trailers. We loved the privacy from the neighbors the trees provided. Camp Lake is excellent for fishing. Both houses were clean and well-maintained. We had one issue that we messaged Amber about. She handled it immediately. We cannot wait to stay here again!!

This was a gathering place for our large family, traveling from Texas, Michigan, Iowa, Florida, Massachusetts, and Minnesota for a weekend. So comfortable, great place to enjoy the lake, a fire pit on the patio, comfy furniture for morning coffee, fully equipped kitchen where each of us took a turn to cook. Loved this time together, and would love to come back!

Best Stay Ever!

We rented this property for a family reunion & had the best experience you could possibly have! The accommodations were incredible with amenities galore! There were generous gathering spaces indoors & out, fully equipped kitchen, plenty of bedding & linens, 3 fire pits with firewood, paddle boat, kayak & a dock on a beautiful lake. You couldn’t find a better place to make memories!

Wonderful Stay

We had a fantastic stay at this property! We had a multi-generational family group, and there was plenty of space for us to spread out. Everything you would ever need is there, both inside and outside the cabins. It was very clean, and communication was great also. I would highly recommend for anyone looking for a Northern MN get-away!

Great place to stay

We really enjoyed the property and cabins. There was more than enough space for all of us (7 adults and 7 kids). Everything was clean. It was a very well cared for property. The expectations for us as guests were clear and left in a nice booklet in the cabins.

Family Stay

This was our second stay at Camp Lake and it was just as great as our first. Both cabins were clean and had all the amenities we needed to enjoy our time. We all enjoyed drinking our morning coffee on the porch and we loved watching the bay freeze over. Amber is a great host and was quick to respond to any inquiries.

Lovely lake retreat!

The photos of this property do not do it justice! Huge yard, beautiful gathering spaces and great amenities! Our family time here was perfect. Very functional bunk rooms for those with kids and lots of room to spread out! We so appreciated the high chair, pack and play and huge, well stocked playroom.

Great place

Our family had a great time. We really enjoyed the lake on the hot summer days and enjoyed all the space inside at night. Kids caught some fish right off the dock and enjoyed the paddle boards. At night we enjoyed playing games around the large table and those who wanted some peace and quiet had plenty of areas to find it! It is a very clean and relaxing property! We look forward to going again next year.
