Perfect stay

Safe neighborhood, lovely breeze (2nd floor), great communication with property owner. Could use some more cups/glasses/plates, but other than that perfect stay! Will be back!!!

This property is definitely in a great safe location. The Owner was very accommodating. I was able to check in early and leave slightly later in check out. I would definitely come back again and stay at this location.

the owners was very helpful with any queries you had even gave us a lift into town the first night lovely stay everything you need in the apartment we didn't think it would be walking distance into the town but once we found our way it took about a 15 minute walk there we did have a car but if you don't have one once you get into the town there are lots of buses to other parts of the island

The host was absolutely 💯 👌. The location was very quiet. 4 minutes walking to freights Bay and 15 minutes walking to Miami Beach. Other than that, there is nothing around. U definitely need a car. The house is very spacious. I super recommend it.

Fabulous week in paradise!

Fantastic property right on Freights bay which was ideal for us as we were keen to spend time surfing! Lovely spacious, light and bright property, in walking distance from Oistins (bars, restaurants, supermarket and fishmarket!) and other lovely beaches. Communication with the owner was great and we had everything we needed for a fabulous week in paradise!

Nice Apartment, Great Location

My wife and I really enjoyed our 5 week stay in this property. It was very clean and comfortable and of particular note was the very comfortable bed and high quality sheets and towels. We were pleasantly surprised by how soundproof the unit was. It was in a quiet, friendly neighbourhood that was about a 15 minute walk from one of the island’s nicest beaches, and another 10 minutes beyond that to a large grocery store. Most evenings we enjoyed the tropical breeze in the property’s lovely gazebo. Special thanks go out to the property managers, Nicole and Miguel, who quickly attended to any questions or needs we had, and went above and beyond to ensure we were happy. We would not hesitate to recommend this property!

Spacious and clean apartment in a safe & quiet location

We loved our stay here. The apartment was extremely clean and the open plan living room/kitchen was bright and spacious. The balcony was cute and we saw stunning sunsets from here most nights. Location was good, 10 mins walk to Miami Beach and 20 mins walk to nearest supermarket. The only negative was the WiFi. I would highly recommend this property!

Truly a relaxing destination!

We really enjoyed our stay at Ocean Path. It was a very short walk to the beach and we had a beautiful view of the ocean from the balcony. The beach right in front of the property is perfect for surfing and swimming. The property is in a nice neighborhood and everyone we met was extremely friendly and kind! Una was a joy to communicate with while planning our Christmas vacation and extremely helpful with everything. I am definitely planning to return.

Quaint, quiet with a nice view of the ocean from the veranda

Truly a home away. Ideal for a family of three or four people. A short walk from Miami Beach and Cotton Bay Sea Window surfers' area. It was a short ride to the iconic Oistin's fish market and Massy's Supermarket store. The property was well equipped with a beach umbrella and two beach chairs for guests. We absolutely loved our accomadations and highly recommend to anyone contemplating a stay in the Christchurch Area of Barbados.

Great location, near beaches

Spent 20 days at this villa and found it to be a quiet location and close to two beaches, Miami Beach which is great for swimming, sunbathing and people watching and also near freight bay beach which is more of a surfer beach area but within a block of the villa. Una and her staff were very helpful and when we needed an extra day added on to the end of my nephews stay Una was extremely helpful in making that happen and we were very thankful!. I would definitely stay here again and recommend the villa to others as well. Thanks for everything Una. Jeffery S.

Lovely ocean breezes and close to beach

This apartment was perfect! Especially for first time visitors to Barbados. The reservation process was smooth and the owner was always prompt in answering our questions before the trip. Once we arrived, we were met at the apartment by Ryle who offered to take us to the grocery store so we could stock up. For people that weren’t renting it car, the offer was very appreciated. The apartment was exactly as depicted in the pictures, and there was a wonderful ocean breeze on the balcony. The AC in the bedroom was great at night but not needed during the day with the windows open. We walked most places, and spent many wonderful days at nearby Miami Beach. Oistins offered plenty of places to eat (the Fish Fry area had a few options open all week long and there were many local food stands for quick cutters and fish cakes), and cabs were cheap for the days when we picked up groceries or fresh fish at the market and wanted to get home quickly to cook. Most everything was within a 15 minute walk and the walk itself was along the ocean - gorgeous views everywhere. We will be back!!! Thank you again, Una.

Perfect location and accomidations for an amazing trip!

Una was so wonderful! She even had someone pick up some groceries for us because we arrived on Christmas day and the markets are closed for Christmas and the day after. Thank Una you for a wonderful stay in Barbados. The condo was well equipped and very comfortable. The people were so friendly. The water is only a minutes walk from the condo and absolutely beautiful. Una checked on us to make sure we did not need anything and helped with booking a rental car and cab information. We loved our time in Barbados. I would definitely recommend staying at Ocean path Villa. Thank you Una for everything and Happy New Year.

33 days of relaxation, eating fish every day, swimming and walking in great weather

Una met us with smiles and hugs showed us around the suite and yard. Gave us contact info to get around and numbers to call if we needed assistance. It was great to have Robert take us out to get groceries on our first day. Loved the ocean view from the kitchen and balcony. The suite was clean, spacious, nice size kitchen. We enjoyed cooking our own meals with the availability of fresh produce and fish. The bedrooms were big lots of closet space, comfortable beds. Lots of windows in the suite loved the breeze coming in from the ocean. Nice having a washer and hanging clothes out to dry and the smell so nice when dry. We enjoyed our kodi box because of the high speed internet as we got to watch our favourite tv shows and movies in the evening on our computer after being gone all day. 2 min walk to surfers bay where one can swim with turtles. For a beginner surfer it's perfect. 15 min walk to Miami beach great for swimming. Great walking to both beaches, to Oistins for fresh fish, hopping on to the local buses and ZR white vans and buying groceries and produce from local vendors, mini marts and Massey store. 28/29 degrees consistent warm weather with breeze, rains at night with some showers during the day. Una kept in touch during our stay to ensure we were comfortable, safe even sending us Banks beer through Riley. We loved the location so close to town and beaches. We enjoyed the peace and quiet of this residential villa. Una had Riley checking to see if we needed anything. The yard was maintained by a gardener. Water taps outside to clean off ones feet after coming back from the beach. The cleaning lady did an awesome job of cleaning our suite. Robert recommended Lisa as a tour guide. We went on two different days seeing most of the tourist attractions and off the beaten path to see the country side. The cost of touring with Lisa was very inexpensive and she was a wealth of information. This was our first trip to Barbados and the view of the turquoise ocean, smell of the sea breeze, amazing beaches with white sand, the stunning sunsets which takes your breath away, friendly locals always wishing you good day, touring the island and especially eating fresh fish everyday made our trip so memorable. We are sure there will be many trips back to Barbados and we will book with Una as we felt so safe, comfortable and welcome right from the first contact as she answered all our questions and was so kind. We strongly recommend staying at Ocean Path Villa

A well appointed apartment in a great location

My two friends and I were very pleased to have found this clean, comfortable and natural light-filled apartment in a quiet neighbourhood, just a few minutes' walk to a surfers beach and less than a 15 minute walk to beautiful Miami Beach and many restaurants. Una was very helpful and responded to all our queries within minutes. She had someone waiting for us at the airport, which made our arrival easy and smooth. Una even supplied beach towels. The wi-fi connection is very reliable. We were impressed by the cleanliness of the apartment and thought the place was comfortably and nicely furnished. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place and will definitely return! Thanks, Una, for a very pleasant stay.

Wonderful two weeks

We had a great time here--swimming at Miami Beach most days. Took buses around island--Holetown, Bathsheba, Bridgetown and Speightstown. Did fine without a car (even though we are seniors)--took taxis a couple of times. Walked over to Surfers Bay Beach Bar twice (follow the seaside road to a track by the water, don't follow the road signs if you are walking). Villa had everything we needed--plenty of towels and sheets plus a washing machine, so we did laundry (a few more clothes pins needed). Because we were arriving on New Years Day and the next day was also a holiday, I brought coffee and nonfat dried milk from home.There were cookies and water here for us. Convenience store was open on holiday but out of milk. It did have most of the essentials. Grocery store has everything you might wish for. Ate breakfast on the porch each day, sometimes lunch as well. We usually ate dinner in Oistins or brought it home from Mr. Delicious. Jus Juicy (in parking lot by beach) has great fish cakes. Mr. Delicious for rum punch and chicken roti. Had a lovely dinner on last night at Cafe Luna. Wifi and tv excellent. I was working on a project where I needed email access and all went well.

Clean roomy apartment!

The apartment is very clean and comfortable. The location was not what we were looking for, it is quite a walk to restaurants, shopping, the bus, etc. Miami Beach is within walking distance but you do have to walk along a busy road for a bit. You can surf very close to the apartment, we do not surf but our neighbors went out almost everyday, within walking distance. Una, the owner, is very nice.

The place to stay in Barbados!

Ocean Path Villa is absolutely the place to stay for anyone taking a trip to Barbados! My boyfriend and I booked a trip February 2016 and chose to stay in a house rather than a resort to save money and have a little more freedom on the island. I was a bit nervous at first not knowing a lot about the island and whether we would be able to find the place after our 2 am landing time as well as what the location and neighborhood would be like. But my nerves were put completely at ease after talking with Una before our trip. She went above and beyond to make sure we knew exactly how to find her house, where we could pick up groceries, and gave us great suggestions on fun things to do and see. She even attempted to have a friend pick us up at the airport and then waited up to phone us on arrival, making sure we found our way in the cab! The lovely green villa came with a fully functional kitchen, cold waters in the fridge, air conditioning in the bedrooms, a beautiful living room, a land line (key when you don't have an international phone plan!) and excellent WIFI. Una provided us with emergency numbers as well as the number of her close friend who was there to help us with anything we needed. On our first day we awoke to an ocean view and an unexpectedly beautiful secluded beach across the street at freights bay! After driving ten minutes in our rental car to Oistins Center, where we picked up everything we needed (and more!) at the supermarket, we spent the day relaxing with a few Banks beers on the secluded Freights bay beach with white sand and crystal waters just two minutes from the house. The whole neighborhood was quiet, safe and beautiful with the famous Miami beach and delicious Café Luna a 5 minute walk away. Barbados itself was a wonderful country filled with amazing people, fantastic food and so much to see, do and enjoy. But Ocean Path truly made the island feel like home. Paradise in Barbados

My husband & I spent 7 nights in this lovely property. It was very well equipped for a Barbados property. Extra linens and towels were provided. The a/c in the bedrooms worked very well. The kitchen had a full stove/oven, microwave, toaster, blender, kettle & coffee maker. I loved that the bathroom had a hair dryer. In that humidity my hair needed to be done frequently, lol. The unit was on the second floor with a partial view of the water. It had a lovely balcony for morning coffee and evening cocktails. And it was very quiet. We were minutes away from Miami Beach, one of the nicest beaches on the south west shore. Friday night fish fry in Oistins is a must and also very close. We chose George's because it was packed with locals and visitors. Tell them you want 4 beer for $10, and you'll get it :-) Let Una help you rent a car. You'll save money and it is hassle free.
