4-Bedroom Lakehouse minutes away from downtown Minocqua

Spacious home nestled on quiet Bullhead Lake (no-wake lake/no motorized watercraft allowed) just 5 minutes from downtown Minocqua. This recently built home is a wonderful getaway for families or a group of friends who are looking for a relaxing vacation away from the everyday. If don't feel like driving, downtown Minocqua is only a 30 minute walk, and one of Minocqua's favorite cozy bars, The Little Brown Jug, is only a 5 minute walk (trust us, we've walked it!). The Bearskin Trail begins close by in downtown Minocqua, and a pontoon boat rental on Minocqua Lake is just a couple minutes away as well!

If you're looking for a quieter day, the property has kayaks (2), paddle boards (4) and inflatable tubes (4) for guest use. There are games in the basement (ping pong and foos ball). The full kitchen and grill on the deck are ready to help you prepare a feast!

Come enjoy all that the Northwoods has to offer; plentiful lakes, beautiful nature, good food, good drinks and great people, and lots of deer!

We really enjoyed our stay! Our family, (group of 8) enjoyed the quiet of the no wake lake and used the paddle boards, kayaks, and fire pit every day. Very well equipped home made it easy to prepare meals. All of the essentials are there and it’s just a few minutes to any of the shops in town. We would certainly stay there again!

Great Northwoods Getaway

We had a wonderful time and enjoyed our stay! The house was well equipped with everything you need and the views were beautiful. Our kids loved paddle boarding on the lake and seeing the loons daily. Ben is a wonderful host and communication was fantastic.

This house is set on a small lake amongst trees. The house is equipped for all ages, with lake activities, ping pong, and games for all ages. I have been to many houses but this ones was the very best equipped with all types of cooking utensils, pans, bowls, spices. The bathrooms even had extra curling irons and some supplies incase you forgot yours. It is located close to town but it was exteremely quiet and peaceful. We saw many deer and loved to watch the black squirrels. I highly recommend this house.

Great Location

New Home - great support from Owners - communication very clear and easy. Home worked well for our multigenerational family - kitchen very well appointed. The location is absolutely prime for Minocqua.

Our second time at this property - so convenient to groceries, shopping & dining. They provide everything for cooking and shower needs and plenty of towels to boot.

Bullhead Lake

Very clean, very nice property. My whole family was pleased with it. Property was as described and in a great location. Owner was very responsive to questions. Lots of nice extras like stand up paddle board, beach towels and inner tubes to use in the lake. I would rent the property again and recommend it to others.

Family Gathering

We had a wonderful stay on Bullhead Lake. Property was super clean. Beds were VERY comfortable! The couch was particularly popular with the kids because it was so soft and cozy. Kitchen well equipped. The absolute best thing about the property was the view of the lake. Could have sat there forever. Property manager was quick with reply and answers to any question. Would absolutely stay here again. Perfect for families to connect and relax.

Amazing and relaxing home!

This home has everything you could need! We enjoyed every part of our stay. The deck was our favorite spot every morning and evening. We enjoyed our time on the lake too! The house was perfectly appointed for a rainy day with plenty of games and comfortable seating to gather all together for conversation. The kitchen is perfectly appointed for everything you need for cooking and sharing meals together! The bedrooms were all extremely comfortable and the bathrooms were fully stocked and spacious. We saw amazing wildlife in the yard and enjoyed quiet walks and bike rides in the neighborhood. We absolutely loved our stay here and would highly recommend it!

5 Stars – Absolutely Perfect Lake Getaway!We had the most incredible stay at this lakeside home—truly one of the best VRBO experiences we've ever had! The house was spotless and so thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed and more. From bug spray and washing machine pods to paper towels and an abundance of fluffy towels for all three bathrooms, every little detail was covered.The kitchen had pots and pans, which made it easy to prepare breakfast and dinner each day. We loved enjoying those meals together on the deck or inside the cozy dining area. For lunch, we ventured into town to check out some great local restaurants—highly recommend!The highlight of our days was using the kayak and paddle boards straight from the private dock. The lake was calm and peaceful, and we ended each evening with a fire in the firepit, listening to the hauntingly beautiful calls of loons across the water—absolute magic.There’s a cool little cabin bar just a short walk from the house, which made for a fun, casual night out. We also discovered a cute shopping area in town and even got in a few games of pickleball and tennis at courts nearby.This home was the perfect mix of comfort, adventure, and relaxation. We’re already dreaming of coming back!

best week ever!

We spent a week with our adult children at this lake home and it was wonderful! We cooked all of our meals in the very well-equipped kitchen, read books out on the patio (note: put the cushions away at night - you'll thank me later if you want to sit on them in the morning to enjoy your coffee), played board games, played cornhole, had lots of ping pong tournaments, kayaked, paddle boarded, fished off the pier and had fires in the evenings. The house is set up so well in that we all had our own space with bedrooms/bathrooms and didn't feel on top of each other. We just genuinely had a great week. Thanks again, Ben!
