This home was perfect for my large family!! We were in town for my nephew’s wedding and this beautiful home allowed us to be together and enjoy peaceful time by tk e lake as well as family dinners together and deck time late into the evenings catching up, laughing and enjoying time together as a family!

In around 20 years of renting vacation homes, this was without doubt the very best. Ample room for our family group of 14. The kitchen was better equipped than any other place we have been. There were games for any age group and the pool was fantastic.The lake was cool and clean, but when you jump in there is no ladder to get back on the dock. You have to climb over rocks to get back to shore. There is a kayak as promised, but only for those with weight below 130 lbs. The lake part was therefore a bit disappointing for the kids. For the cost of relatively a few dollars this could have been corrected - so why not? Then this stay could get the 5 rating it really deserves.

The Perch is a Gem!

We had a group of 15 celebrating our friend’s 60th birthday. Our group travels together at least twice a year and the Perch has been the BEST place we have ever stayed!!! It’s not only beautiful but clean and very well stocked. We will definitely stay here again.

Incredible Property - perfect weekend getaway

The house is fully equipped with everything you’d need for a lake weekend. The hosts were very responsive and made our entire stay enjoyable. Highly recommend The Perch for a relaxing weekend on the lake.

Long weekend with family

Beautiful home situated at a great scenic location on Lay Lake. It turns out the lake was down three feet so we couldn’t kayak or have a friend take us a pontoon ride as planned. The house was very clean. Lots of things for the kids to do. Big screen tv downstairs. It was nice having two kitchens. Nice relaxing weekend.

SIMPLY AMAZING !!!!!!!!!!

Our family goes on vacation 2 times a year. We always had to settle for what we could find thateveryone would be happy. We booked this house because the reviews was wonderful. But what sold us is that your not sitting right on top of anybody else. Privacy is very important to us. This is our family time together not being together with some other family. You can bring a boat as it has a dock and coves on the side. The pool is wonderfully equipped and clean. This house is immaculate clean which i loved. When you walk in this house it is like walking into a magazine. Every room was designed for comfort . Kitchens to die for . You have 2 very well equipped kitchens up and down stairs. Im so use to having to bring stuff from our house to a rental because you always need stuff rentals dont usually have. All i can say is you can leave your stuff at home on this trip. The staff is wonderful.... very responsive to questions. This home is our new rental place we will be seeing yall in October. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home....

A little “PEACE” of paradise

Really enjoyed our stay. It was the peace that I and my family needed. It’s close enough to the things that you need but far enough that you feel like you’re in a resort. It’s clean, we felt safe and it felt like home. Will definitely stay here again
