Enjoyed our stay at Ocean Song at Kealakekua Bay. Home was enjoyed by adults and children and a had feeling of a family home not a resort.Location was in a quiet neighborhood with walking distance to recreation.

Ocean Song touches my heart. This is my fourth visit, wish we could have stayed longer. Ourmother passed away in December, so glad she was able to make it here 3 times, this trip was in her honor. Her favorite place was siting up on the bed on the lanai, with the ocean views, the gorgeous breezes, lovely lovely landscaping, watching the snorkelers, the mongooses, the geckos. I hope we can make it a fifth trip soon. We had a perfect time returning to our mother's favorite place.

View was beautiful & the pool was great as well. House was comfortably appointed for the most part but definitely got hot during the day even with the fans running. Was very thankful for the AC units in 2 of the 3 bedrooms so we were able to sleep a little more comfortably. One of the 3 bathrooms was in the garage with no real airflow so that was a little disappointing because no one in our group wanted to use that bathroom so it made things a little tighter than anticipated. Overall, the house was nice but the outdoor space is why I’d book it again-it was fantastic with an amazing view, nice pool to cool off in, and plenty of seating/laying around areas on the deck & around the pool.

Great place to stay while spending days on the Big Island. Wonderful home and super relaxing pool/deck area-sunsets are amazing. Host was awesome to work with and home had everything you could need for a Hawai vacation.

We had a wonderful experience at Ocean Song. The house had everything we needed and was in the most beautiful setting. The AC units in the bedrooms made sleeping very comfortable. It just had every touch thought out, a hammock, outdoor beds, a cliff’s edge bench swing and more! It was truly a family stay we will remember!

Family Vacation

We had a wonderful time. The home is well-maintained and gorgeous. We had everything we needed and then some. Home had a laid back and cool style which I loved. Shout out to the gardener, cleaners, house managers, and pool man for their fantastic work. The views are amazing. The pool is fantastic and the lanai was a great place to hang out. Beds were large and comfy. The location is private but not isolated. Kayaking and great beaches just down the road. Snorkeling right below. Morning coffee on the swing enjoying the ocean breeze was the best. Highly recommend.

Secluded ocean paradise

There's a reason that Ocean Song gets so many glowing reviews (including this one). The setting is magical. As you cross the threshold through the back doors to the lanai area, you enter a kind of paradise. On our first morning there, we literally watched humpback whales frolic in the ocean under a rainbow-clad sky, all while sipping coffee on chaise longue chairs. We swam in the palm-fringed pool (clean, sufficiently deep, and comfortably lukewarm) during the day, and watched the sun set over the ocean in the evening. The only neighbors we really saw were the geckos; the only sounds we heard were chirping birds and the churning sea.Other, more earthly details of the property are secondary, but worth mentioning. The house can be a little warm in the evening, even though it does eventually cool down during the night. While there are window A/C units in two bedrooms, guests are discouraged from turning them down low. The house is itself is comfortable and spacious, if not extravagant. There are probably larger, more luxurious houses in the area in the same price range -- they just won't have a comparable outdoor area. If your idea of a Hawaiian vacation is to sit indoors, Ocean Song probably isn't for you.The hosts and house manager were helpful, with good communication.Finally, it should be noted that a price of seclusion is a long drive. The nearest commercial area is at least 15 minutes away.

Just wonderful!

Ocean Song is a beautiful property! The house is spacious and the kitchen well appointed. Being right on the ocean is spectacular, and we saw whales many of the days that we were there. The property manager is very accessible and helpful. We would absolutely stay here again!.

Love the Sunsets

Very clean, well maintained and well appointed home. Spent many evenings lounging around the pool, enjoying the beautiful sunsets. A very comfortable home, located near several snorkel spots. Recommended!

Alles in allem wunderbar. Das Haus ist gut gepflegt, die Lage am Ende einer Sackgasse direkt am Pazifik traumhaft. Die Bilder entsprechen den Tatsachen. Zur Begrüßung zwei traumhafte Blumensträuße vorgefunden, frisch aus dem Garten.

Island paradise

What an impressive place to relax and unwind!! Picking the limes and mangos on the property was so fun. Close to two amazing snorkeling spots at Manini Beach and Two Step. With all the site seeing we did during the day, we always tried to make it back to this house in the evening for the most amazing sunsets ever. I even saw the green flash that the locals talk about ! The owners have thought of everything needed to make our stay perfect. Even the rusty bikes worked great for an early morning spin around the area. Overall, best vacation home we have been in so far. Would definitely come back here.
