Impresionante vista, la mejor playa de snorkel, Big Lanais, casa privada

Kahaluu Beach Holmes es una gran propiedad de alquiler de vacaciones con una vista espectacular. Estamos ubicados a solo 300 pies de la playa de Kahaluu, una de las principales playas de snorkel de la isla. Nuestra casa ofrece vistas inigualables de la playa y una vista panorámica del océano Pacífico desde nuestros grandes lanais. Ofrecemos 4400 pies cuadrados de espacio habitable en dos niveles y puede dormir 14 cómodamente.

Los dos pisos superiores de la casa de 3 pisos, que son aproximadamente 2200 pies cuadrados cada uno. Ambos tienen dos habitaciones king / dos baños, una cocina amueblada de tamaño completo, sala de estar grande y lanai privado con hermosas vistas al océano. Para grupos más grandes, cada nivel tiene un cómodo futón tamaño queen con un colchón "real", un sofá cama queen size, el segundo piso tiene una cama Murphy tamaño queen adicional. ¡Esto permite camas para 16 y el último tiene un sofá cama!

Cada piso tiene una entrada privada, así como una cómoda escalera interior de dos niveles que los une.

La casa está completamente amueblada, hay un excelente estacionamiento en la calle, lavandería, WIFI, cable, y la vista desde el piso superior no tiene comparación. Sin duda uno de los mejores alquileres vacacionales de la zona.

¡Estamos ubicados a 300 pies (un paseo fácil por el camino de entrada) de Kahaluu Beach! Sin duda, uno de los mejores lugares para bucear en la Isla Grande. Alimentado por un manantial de agua dulce, hasta 10 millones de galones por día. Estas aguas son casi siempre tranquilas, con corales coloridos, formaciones rocosas y más de 100 especies de peces. Nade con enormes bancos de peces de colores y tortugas verdes en estas aguas protegidas; ¡no olvides tu cámara submarina!

El extremo norte de la playa es donde rompen las olas y es lo mejor para el bodyboard y el surf. Los instructores locales de surf imparten clases allí regularmente. Kahaluu es muy querido por las aguas tranquilas y protegidas, perfectas para familias y niños, así como para el aventurero buscador de olas. Árboles sombreados rodean esta hermosa playa de arena. This home was perfect for our informal family group of 4 adults and 3 kids. The location could not have been better for surfing, snorkeling and convenience. The host and on-location manager were very responsive and helpful prior to and during our stay. The plentiful deck space was well used for morning coffee, watching the kids surf, outdoor dining, game nights and drying out all those bathing suits and towels. We definitely would stay here again!

Breathtaking View!

This property is just as described in the listing. It is clean, private and has all the necessary items you need for cooking meals and enjoying your time on Hawaii. We had plenty of room to spread out and relax. The cherry on top is Kahalu’u beach which is directly in front of the house. Morning snorkeling was the best! We will definitely return!

Great location

This was a great location! Right across from a great snorkel spot. The unit had some gear to borrow but we ended up renting some better gear. The view from the top balcony was amazing, beautiful views of the water, the morning rainbows and loads of birds in the area. Parking was sufficient, the driveways are all tight here but our large car had no issues. Great host! She was super communicative and nice :)

Incredible Vacation Destination

This rental unit could not have been more perfect for our group. It was roomy enough to fit our group of 9 and not feel cramped at all. Very well appointed as we prepared most of our meals at the house. The views from the lanai's are spectacular, especially the sunsets. The snorkeling across the street at Kahalu'u Beach Park was the best of all the places we swam. The house is conveniently located with easy access to several markets and grocery stores.The owners were wonderful to work with. We had a Tsunami warning while there and Cheryl was on top of it. She helped us with where to go and what to do and how to be safe when it hit. Very Very grateful for the communications during the crisis and for the whole stay in general.We had a wonderful trip, would rent this unit again and would recommend it to anyone and everyone. This experience is the epitome of what a VRBO rental should be. Can't say enough great things about our experience here.

Great location, dated accommodation.

You stay here because of the location. Being a short walk away from some excellent snorkeling and beautiful views are the standouts of this Vrbo. It is also a short drive to downtown Kona and to a nearby shopping area with a grocery store. The accommodation itself is dated and would be surprised if it was ever updated and there are aspects of the house the need a refresh especially considering the price point of the home. Furthermore given the 400 cleaning fee I would expect the home to be spotless upon arrival but it was not. If you are looking for a pleasant and simple place near a prime snorkeling spot this is your place. But its cost point and lackluster accommodation quality would have me looking at other options in the future.

Great: Fantastic location across from the snorkel beach and easy access to magic sands and downtown Kona.Beautiful views from the lanai and plenty of seating on both balconies and in living rooms. The house layout was perfect for our family of ten with king beds in the four bedrooms, two pull out couches downstairs and one pull out couch upstairs. The downstairs neighbor (and whomever came to feed the cats downstairs) was very kind and shared knowledge of beaches and places to go around the island. Average: There were exactly 10 ten bath towels and exactly 10 beach towels. It was enough since we had 10 people, but don’t expect to have extra if you need to clean something up or use a hair towel (ladies). Same for bedding. As others mentioned, the lack of AC was expected. There was one fan per room so we did shuffling around the house when we were in common spaces and before bed. It worked out, but more would have been better. Overall it was clean, not excellent, but clean. Needs work:The host doesn’t check the vrbo message center. It would be hours or days before a response and it would come in a private text message with reminder to text privately. I ended up just adding the texts to the message center for vrbo records. Overall a great, economical option for a large family. We had a wonderful week in a gorgeous place.

Excellent way to stay on the big Island.

It would be impossible to find a better location. Snorkeling beach is directly across the street. Easy drive to town, the airport, and other interesting places. And a nice home with king sized beds and 4 bathrooms! Everything you need!

What a great place to stay! Had a great time!

there were nine of us, ages 10 to 67, we all enjoyed the house. It was very comfortable and well maintained. The view from the lanai was incredible. The location was perfect, we'd walk to beach and snorkle. Close to shopping, night life and harbor.

Great stay close to the beach

Group of 7 adults. We had a great stay at this place. Home is clean, spacious, has everything you need but you need to bring your own toiletries. Short drive to town, great snorkeling beach right across the street and amazing views from the balconies. Host was responsive and helpful. Would recommend and stay again. Thank you!

The perfect house for a large family.

This was just perfect for us. Kids stayed on 1 level and adults on the other. Location was far enough from the hustle and bustle of Kona but close enough when you want to go into town. Sound of ocean drowned out the road noise from Ali'i Dr. Snorkeling was AMAZING.

Great for a family vacation

Our family of 8 stayed in the top two floors of the home, which is just a long driveway from Ali'i Drive, and then across the street to Kahulu'u Beach. It worked out very well for us! A kitchen, two bedrooms, and two bathrooms on each floor plus boogie boards and water shoes to share. There are several homes along the driveway, ruins of an old heiau on Ali'i, and snorkeling at the beach. A relaxed place to spend a week!

Amazing location of the perfect house for a large group!

This house was perfect for our large family! We were able to let our adult children and their significant others take the 2nd floor and we took the 3rd floor! It was very close to a very cool snorkeling location! We enjoyed the quick access to a beautiful beach! I got a little anxious raising for instructions for checking in however they sent it slightly early so that was nice!

Wonderful location

This house was set in a wonderful location! We were able to snorkel and rent surfboards right across the street! It was perfect. There is a grocery store within 5 minutes and you are able to cook in if you want. At first we were nervous about no air co di Orion if but don’t let that scare you off! once you open the windows and turn the fans on it is perfect! The outside porches are also the perfect place to relax and watch the sun set!
