I’ve gone to Madeira my entire life. We stayed here two years ago and enjoyed it but were disappointed this year. This time, there were zero things for the beach. Two other family friends stayed in the same building and had all kinds of things for the beach. At least two chairs would have been nice since we traveled by plane. There are bath towels but zero beach towels as well. The fan in the master bedroom was loud and needs adjustments. The bottom drawers of the refrigerator also needs attention because it kept sliding down with any weight. The bathroom lights also turn on a very loud fan and the toilet is loud. It would wake me up if used in the middle of the night. I messaged sunhost on Vrbo app with questionsand only got one reply. I had to call them directly. So, that might be the better route if you have questions. Check in and out was easy. The place was clean, location was wonderful and the balcony was great. It’s shaded in the morning which we loved for coffee. The kitchen supplies were bare minimum and definitely old but were alright for what we needed. We will stay in another room next year.

Every morning we woke up to beautiful views of the Gulf. This condo did have some beach chairs that were helpful. The only bad thing I can say is there were no restroom on the main floor so if you were at the pool you would have to go back to your room. All and all this was a great place.

We typically stay at Beach Place condos with my parents but this was our first year branching out and it did not disappoint. The condo was clean, stocked per the description, amazing view, best parking spot, and incredibly easy host to work with. The pool could be a tad bigger for those super hot days when everyone wants to cool off but was well maintained and clean. Madeira Beach is our home away from home and this condo fit right into that description as well. Highly recommend.

Sand on floors . Not a good assortment of cooking utensils. They were for teflon pans and bend so u can’t stir anything when the utensils get hot . Could not use the can opener .... Totally broke . Pans were VERY bad . Burnt and teflon scratched off bad . There also wasn’t any knives . There was plastic knives . There were knives in the block but way to sharp to give kids or even butter toast .

The view was amazing, access to St John’s Pass & Village right across the street, the wide open area in our condo. Our room had extra chairs, and toys for the kids. Even outside of the building they had extra toys for the kids on the beach. The pool area was clean, we went every day. The people who were renting our other condos were super friendly. And the condo cats especially butterball was an added plus! We loved every minute of it and will definitely be back!

I loved the fact that the condo is right across the street from John’s Pass so that you can walk to shops, restaurants and activities. There were a few issues but nothing maintenance can’t fix. Be prepared to go to Publix store as soon as you get there because nothing is provided. ( paper towels, spices coffee, coffee filters, and each bathroom gets one roll of TP). Bring your own pillow b/c theirs are flat. Other than that is was amazing.

Great location

Property was right on the beach with a great view of the Florida sunset straight from the balcony! Was within walking distance from shopping, food, and entertainment with John’s pass right across the street. Grocery store trips could be walked, but decided to drive as to not have to carry bags back. Kitchen was stocked with every dish and utensil needed to concoct a delicious meal. Traffic was not bad but also went during late October. Overall, it was a great place to stay and provided for a much needed rest and relaxation week before heading back to the Midwest winter!

Nicely updated great to find chairs, tent, umbrella and a cooler for our use. The views are stunning and you can’t beat the location. Close to John’s pass and the fishing was amazing! Quite honestly, this can be said for all the condos we have stayed in here. Felt like home away from home. Thanks to Lazlo who keeps the grounds spotless and we always like seeing Butterball the property cat that will greet you in the morning by the gate to the beach!

Great place to make memories!

Our family had a wonderful time here! The condo was very clean and we had plenty of room for the four of us. We loved the balcony and the view. It was shaded in the morning while we had coffee and in the evening there’s a great view of the sunset. It’s right near John’s pass so we walked to dinner almost every night. The only thing I would have liked was for beach towels to be provided since we flew but we easily found cheap ones at local Walmart. I would recommend this place for sure.

Reviewer Comments: Overall we had a good stay, I will start with the positives:-Location is amazing, we stayed in this area last year as well-Building is kept very well maintained. There was a young man always walking around, picking up trash, mopping hallways and elevators, sweeping rain off the sitting area. -This unit has brand new leather couches.-This unit had plenty of kids sand toys, and beach umbrellas.-Knives actually really nice, which I dont see often in rental units. (but missing cutting board)-Size of unit was great for our family of 4.-Nice selection of games and books to use while there.Needs Improvement:-This issue is with Sunhost I believe, but the bedding used is AWFUL. It is worst than sandpaper to sleep on, and the pillows are just the cheapest flattest around. I know it is a rental, but they could be nicer than the ones provided. -Beach chairs should be mandatory to include. Our unit sleeps 4, yet there was only 1 chair to use. It is a condo on the beach, it should come with chairs for the amount of ppl it sleeps. -Kitchen was nice and had a fair amount of things you look for, but was missing some key items, a salad/mixing/chip bowl for example. Largest one was your std soup bowl. There was no cutting board? Also, the can opener was broken-Bathroom needs some work, especially the shower. It was almost impossible to not have water going everywhere while taking a shower. We kept 2-3 towels on the floor to make sure it was dry, but you could see the water damage on the sliding door next to the shower. -All floor rugs were quite old and dirty looking. Overall good stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall we had a good stay, I will start with the positives:-Location is amazing, we stayed in this area last year as well-Building is kept very well maintained. There was a young man always walking around, picking up trash, mopping hallways and elevators, sweeping rain off the sitting area. -This unit has brand new leather couches.-This unit had plenty of kids sand toys, and beach umbrellas.-Knives actually really nice, which I dont see often in rental units. (but missing cutting board)-Size of unit was great for our family of 4.-Nice selection of games and books to use while there.Needs Improvement:-This issue is with Sunhost I believe, but the bedding used is AWFUL. It is worst than sandpaper to sleep on, and the pillows are just the cheapest flattest around. I know it is a rental, but they could be nicer than the ones provided. -Beach chairs should be mandatory to include. Our unit sleeps 4, yet there was only 1 chair to use. It is a condo on the beach, it should come with chairs for the amount of ppl it sleeps. -Kitchen was nice and had a fair amount of things you look for, but was missing some key items, a salad/mixing/chip bowl for example. Largest one was your std soup bowl. There was no cutting board? Also, the can opener was broken-Bathroom needs some work, especially the shower. It was almost impossible to not have water going everywhere while taking a shower. We kept 2-3 towels on the floor to make sure it was dry, but you could see the water damage on the sliding door next to the shower. -All floor rugs were quite old and dirty looking. You could tell they were vacuumed, but really need replacing.Overall, good stay. Again I think beach chairs and nicer sheets & pillows would make a WORLD of difference.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Mixed reviews on this condo with a beautiful view. We have been in this rental before but it now is in need of some attention. A deep clean would benefit this rental along with minor suggestions such as to secure the dishwasher to the cabinet, fix some handles in the kitchen, change some lightbulbs, have the bathroom fan serviced and the area rug replaced. I have read the previous reviews and some of our suggestions are redundant but with no action. The building is a perfect location. The SunHost staff are always pleasant, professional and friendly! Pool was clean and the perfect temperature. We met several owners who take pride in this building and even asked our suggestions to improve our stay.We are repeat renters and look forward to our next stay at Madeira Norté.
