We loved our stay here! What I loved most was the common area with the large sectional and seating area. Plenty of space for the 5 of us to spread out! We used the kitchen for all meals and it was adequately stocked with everything we needed for cookware and utensils. The beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows. The location is great, a quiet neighborhood and easy drive to the harbor. The only thing I would suggest to make it a better stay is more towels and adequate bedding for the pullout couch. We made due with what was there.We would easily choose this place again.

Lovely, comfortable and spotless unit (half of a duplex) in the woods not far from all Boothbay has to offer. Convenient parking, single floor accommodations for Grandma and Grandpa. Thank you, Jeanne!

This is a lovely, updated, modern unit with everything you need to enjoy your Boothbay stay. Clean, comfortable beds, nice linens, lots of seating, and modern appliances. The coffee pods and toiletries were nice extras. The view is into the surrounding wooded area, very peaceful and quiet at night. It is just a couple miles from a grocery store and the harbor area. The unit is exactly as pictured. Would highly recommend the Ocean Point Inn for lunch or dinner with a view of the sea and the Cabbage Island Lobster picnic.

The home was clean, roomy, comfortable and had everything we needed. It was close to the locations we were there for and other than being a little tricky to find (waze was very confused), it was perfect. We did have to reach out for the lock code at check in time but otherwise, we couldnt have asked for a nicer place and location.

We had a lovely stay here. Everything we wanted was just a short drive away…grocery store, marina, restaurants, & shopping. The living area was beautifully furnished and very comfortable. The master bedroom was lovely with a king bed and an en-suite bathroom that has a walk-in shower and plenty of counter space. There was also a TV in the master. The 2nd bedroom has a queen bed, no TV. Unfortunately, the drawers in that room fall apart when you try to open them to put clothes in. The kitchen is well stocked but could use some better wine glasses. Jeanne was very responsive and answered all the questions we had. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Grandparents delight!

We stayed at the wonderful house with our grandchildren. It had the most comfy couch for reading . Which is our favorite thing to do! Our other favorite thing is eating and the kitchen did not disappoint! Lastly we had great beds which is the cherry on top! Thanks again for the.use of that wonderful house

Great location for both East Booth Bay and Booth Bay Harbor. Spotlessly clean. Comfortable with everything like new. More than adequate seating, open feel, great heat and air. Couldn’t think of anything that needs to be done and highly recommend.

Excellent week long stay.

Looking for a nice 2/2 in Boothbay area for a weeks stay at a reasonable rate and was not disappointed. Off main road with tree view. New, clean, and spacious. Would stay again.

"New Cozy House", Convenient Location

We had a wonderful stay at Shipbuilder Place. The wooded location is extraordinarily convenient; close to Hanover grocery, Farm 23 Bakery and major highways to the most popular destinations without the traffic congestion. The duplex was well equipped and comfortable. It felt like home. The owners were extremely helpful and available to answer questions. 5 Stars.

Lovely Rental

Shipbuilders Retreat #2 was a beautiful rental in a secluded area of East Boothbay. It was spacious and well stocked with all appliances and accessories. We did not need air conditioning but the heating source was very good. The only items we found little uncomfortable was the bright sunlight early in the morning through the sheers and the living room furniture was a little too hard for our senior bodies. On the plus side plenty of pillows. Other than that we had a very pleasant experience staying at the rental and in the area in general.

Fabulous property! Ideal location!

We were the first folks to enjoy this brand new property for a long weekend! We are lifeline summer residents of this region, here to check on renovations being done on our own cottage. We could not have been more pleased with this property. Perfect location, minutes from our cottage, town and all the conveniences, this 2 bedroom duplex is light and airy, beautifully appointed with every detail considered. Host was in touch often, answering questions and welcoming us. Place was spotless! Don’t wait to book, I’m sure this will fill up fast. 6⭐️in our book!!!
