The house was the perfect size for us with having 6 adults and 3 kids. Loved the Mountain view and we all enjoyed the cows, horse, and donkey that would visit each day. The location was convenient to Asheville (about 30 minutes away, Waynesville (about 20 minutes away), and Maggie Valley (about 30 minutes away), and we were able to come back and relax in our quiet spot in Clyde. Our host, Christa, was always available and quickly responded to our inquiries. I would definitely recommend this property!

Great stay in the mountains

Home was great to stay at. Very well equipped kitchen and home. Entertained the kids with the basement. Beautiful views of the mountains and valleys. Easy check in and check out. Definitely would stay there again.

We had two families share this house and it was great. The kids loved the play kitchen upstairs and the arcade games were a big hit. The adults enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub with nice views of the mountains. some pretty

I went with my parents, grandparents, siblings along with 4 kids. And all of us had a great time. Kids were entertained by spacious patio, swings and the hot tub. The views and the house were as shown in the pictures. The owners were very responsive and accommodating when reached out to. Overall, we had a great experience.

This property is wonderful. The kitchen is fully outfitted with excellent appliances, including a great selection of smaller ones like a toaster oven, coffee maker, and electric griddle. The rooms were tidy and ready for us. The bathrooms were spotless. The view is breathtaking and peaceful. The arcade in the basement was a lot of fun for adults and kids alike, as were the under-deck swings. We also loved the neighbors - 2 horses and a donkey came by to say hello on our last morning there. The driveway up to the house may be a bit tricky, especially if you drive a car that sits very low to the ground. Communication with the host was top notch and very prompt.

Mothers Day Getaway

I cannot say enough good things about this house. It is such a great house for a large group like we had. Everything was very well stocked. I promise if you rent this property, you will not be disappointed. The views are amazing. The hot tub is spectacular. The location was convenient to a lot of the things that we like to do in the mountains. Everyone had such a wonderful time. Any question we had was promptly answered. This is one of the best houses we have stayed at VRBO.

Amazing stay!

Getting my family to agree on a mountain house is no easy task. We wanted an escape to the mountains. I wanted views, my kids wanted an arcade, my wife wanted a hot tub, and we got it all! Beautiful views! The first night we had dinner on the porch. We hung out in the hammock chairs for quite a while reading books. We all had a blast in the arcade. The kids loved looking at all the farm animals on the surrounding properties. Lots of birds chirping. Coffee in the morning on the porch was great! We would definitely recommend this one if you want a quiet escape to the mountains!

60th Birthday Weekend

It was my 60th birthday so when asked what I wanted to do to celebrate I aid spend the weekendwith my family. We love the Waynesville and have taken several family vacations there in the past. The Mountain View Retreat was the erfect place for my birthday weekend. The whole house is beautiful, comfortable, completetly renovated and so clean. I want this kitchen. The tile backsplash, granite countertops, beautiful island and being so well appointed with everything we needed was awesome. The den and kitchen had the beautiful mountainview. The deck was awesome for taking in the lovely view and star gazing at night. There is even a covered portion of the deck with rocking chairs in case of rain or to take cover from the sun. My grandsons loved the basement arcade games and the upstairs play area in their bedroom. The youngest loved the play kitchen. He cooked me many meals. The bedrooms and bathrooms were well appointed and very comfotable. We love watching the cows, horses and donkeys in the surrounding pastures. We have loved Waynesvile, but had never been in this part f the county before, it i our new favorite part of the mountains. We really enjoyed our stay. The chance to rest and slow down was awesome. The quietness and beauty we found here were so enjoyable. This was a trip that created many wonderful memories for us. Thank you for sharing your little piece of heaven herein earth with us. We hope to come back again.

As a child, my family would often vacation in the Maggie Valley area of North Carolina, and I fell in love with the beauty and tranquility of the region.

As I became more involved in real estate, it became a dream of mine to own a home nestled between Asheville and Maggie Valley, where my family and I could stay and enjoy the stunning mountain views and natural surroundings. I wanted to create a space that was not only a retreat for my family but also a place where others could come to relax and enjoy all that the area has to offer.
