Monticello Getaway is a beautifully renovated four-bedroom, three-bathroom home located in the heart of Charlottesville's vibrant Belmont neighborhood. Perfect for extended stays of 31 days or more, this fully furnished rental offers all the comforts of home in a prime downtown location. The home sits on a sunny corner lot across from Clark Elementary School and features ample street parking, a large deck with an outdoor dining area, and a gas grill for enjoying time outside.

Inside, the home is thoughtfully designed for both relaxation and convenience. The spacious living room includes two sofas, accent chairs, and a smart TV—perfect for cozy evenings in. A bright dining area comfortably seats four, with additional counter seating for three, and the fully stocked kitchen includes stainless steel appliances, a gas stove, wine refrigerator, and small appliances like a toaster, blender, and coffee maker. A washer and dryer are also available for guest use.

Charlottesville Winery Visit

Four couples stayed here for a 3 day visit to Charlottesville wineries and historical sites. House is in a convenient location and was clean and comfortable upon check in. The house is accurately described in the online listing. On street parking was easy. We would definitely stay here again.

Monticello Getaway was wonderful!

This house was very clean and had lots of little “extras” that made it very comfortable for our group of 8 adults. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of seating inside and on the deck for everyone.

Great location and house

We were at UVA for Family Weekend and really enjoyed our stay. The house is in a perfect location to access the university and many of the sites in Charlottesville. The house easily accommodated our family, was clean and well stocked, and the hosts were great.

Weekend in Charlottesville

Very pleased with our stay at this home. There is plenty of space for a large group with comfortable beds and clean bathrooms. The kitchen is well stocked with anything you might need. Good location close to town. Check in and check out was easy. Definitely recommend for anyone staying in the area!

This house was central to all the tours we wanted to do & history we wanted to see. The setup is great, it was nice to have the one room downstairs for our older niece to stay in & the two rooms upstairs for the kids to be near us. Plenty of space & accommodations for 7.

Excellent location and wonderful house!

This house was perfect for my family of seven to stay comfortably for a weekend wedding. The rooms were very clean and well appointed, and the beds were super comfortable. We could walk to downtown Charlottesville, and the grocery store was a short five-minute drive. We will definitely stay here again when we’re back in town.

Spotless home. Beautiful new appliances and fully stocked kitchen with everything you need to cook there on the premises. Sunset from the back deck. Very comfortable beds. Overall a great place to stay.

Wonderful family stay in Charlottesville

The house was perfect for our group of 8 adults, in town for a family wedding. Everything was clean, comfortable, and as pictured. The kitchen was well-equipped and the toiletry amenities provided were a nice touch. The bedrooms are large and the beds are very comfortable. Very nice, walkable area. Plenty of street parking available. Communication was clear with quick response time. Highly recommend and would book again when in the area.

Monticello Rocks!

Highly recommend. The house is OUTSTANDING and exactly what we wanted for our weekend in Charlottesville - rooms are large yet cozy, furnishings are nice and the kitchen is A+. We had a house full, including a 3 month old. Convenient to everywhere in Charlottesville.

Great house!

Loved our stay at Monticello getaway. The house was very clean and and everything it in seemed new. The house had some extra perks like sound machines, a steamer, charging pads etc. The management company was excellent too. Things to know, parking is on the street, only one bedroom has its own bath. The others are outside the bedrooms. Highly recommend! Great location too!

Perfect Getaway

Monticello Getaway was the perfect space to relax with family and enjoy the many wineries that Charlottesville has to offer. We even took in a polo match. The house was immaculate and extremely well appointed. It was spacious and very comfortable. I can't think of one negative or anything I would change about this wonderful house. The deck sat 6 very comfortably and the gas grill was wonderful to have. Downtown is a bit of a walk but well worth it. I highly recommend this property.

Old Girls' Reunion

We had a wonderful time at this site. The house was perfect for us 5 high-school friends with plenty of room to socialize, but privacy, as well. It was so convenient to downtown Charlottesville and historical sites like Monticello or The Highland. It was well equipped in the large, accessible kitchen. I would suggest that there be a bit more explicit instruction on thermostat adjustment, especially for those over 50! It was so new fangled!!

Exactly as described

The lovely modern kitchen was amply stocked with almost everything you could possible want. An island with four barstools near a dining table for four allowed eight to share a meal casually. The living room included games for all ages. The king-size bed downstairs was very comfortable and there were no complaints about the comfort of the three upstairs rooms. The only drawback to the whole house was the set of wooden stairs leading upstairs. They were a challenge because of the steps’ narrow depth and little traction It is possible that someone with even slight mobility issues and/or longer feet could have problems.
