Newly remodeled May 2023 and brand new to the market is this five bedroom lake house. It is close to everything downtown Omaha/Council Bluffs has to offer while over-looking Carter Lake with plenty of wildlife, lake adventure, and sunsets.

Additional nearby attractions include the College World Series (Charles Schwab Field), Historic Old Market, Omaha Henry Doorly Zoo, CHI Center (concerts & events), Mid-America Center, multiple restaurants, bars, casinos and golf courses are all located minutes away.

Enjoy the fire pit, patio and deck after a day exploring all the attractions the area has to offer. Comfortable home on a large, fenced yard on the lake.

Kitchen seating accommodates up to 10 guests, dishwasher, gas range, microwave, coffee maker, blender, crock pot, fridge/freezer with water dispenser, full kitchen cooking utensils and pots/pans/bakeware.

Quiet comfortable lake house. A nice sanctuary to hang out with family, cook l, gather around the table for a meal while looking out at the lake. You might catch a glimpse of a bald eagle!

Great space for a family weekend. Quiet neighborhood with a nice lake view. Perfect spot to watch the Creighton womens rowing regatta.

LWML National Convention

My family and I stayed in this house last September. This trip 9 of us were in town for 4 days for the LWML National Convention at the CHI Center. It was very easy to get everywhere we needed to be and my friends loved the house!

Great family house

We came into town to visit family/friends for the holiday. This house was perfect for our family of 7. The lake view is gorgeous and the house is close to everything in Omaha. This is our second time staying at this house and always enjoy it!

Loved looking out at the lake while having coffee in the morning. Saw all kinds of birds including a bald eagle. Watched relatives planes land and take off but airport noise was not an issue. Wish I could see this location when trees are leafed out and green.

Relaxing Getaway

Amazing property! More than enough room for all the ladies to getaway and relax. Coffee on the deck with the lake as our view was a favorite. Closing to Old Market District and great restaurants. Great amenities provided. A relaxing float on the lake which had access to the water from property was perfect!

Family siblings

We had to make a toilet paper run and would have loved to use the grill but was afraid to use with the hole in it. Otherwise we absolutely loved the place! The view was wonderful!!

Great rental on the lake

Two families stayed at the house for the CWS in Omaha. Plenty of room, clean, well-equipped on a pretty lake! We extended our stay since our team kept winning games in the CWS and the hosts were gracious and helpful in allowing us to stay. Thank you for everything! Definitely recommend.

Beautiful Lake House

This house was perfect for our family of 7 to stay over Thanksgiving. House is very nice, clean and has a beautiful view of Carter Lake. Kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need! We saw ducks and geese every day and even had a few bald eagle sightings. Would love to come back to enjoy the lake in the warmer weather!

2023 College World Series

As advertised! We stayed for 10 nights during the 2023 College World Series. The place had everything we needed and then some. Scott was great! We only had one minor issue while there and he addressed it immediately. Awesome week! Highly recommend!

Amazing lakehouse & amazing stay!

This property is absolutely amazing! You can tell the owners care deeply about their guests from their meticulous cleaning to the quality of the home and what they have available for entertainment (plus extra outdoor towels!). The beds are super comfortable, owners are easy to get ahold of for anything, the home is spacious and the backyard is incredible. We stayed here with family, including a 1 year old, and had nothing but an amazing experience. They even had a pack n play and a baby gate that we could use which was AMAZING. Thought it might be a bit loud because we were close to the airport and downtown, but you honesty have no clue. It's an amazing getaway in the heart of Omaha! 12/10 highly recommend & we will be staying here next time we're in town!!

Great Place to Celebrate and Relax

The Carter Lake house was the perfect setting for our family gathering. We had a double celebration - a college graduation and Mother's Day. The diversity of activities and comforts of the home were impressive. We spent time outside on the lake with the kayaks, in the nicely kept back yard playing cornhole, and enjoyed the fire pit under the stars. Inside, we played games in the cozy living room, cooked together in the lovely kitchen, and just enjoyed each other's company throughout the house. This property is close to everything Omaha has to offer and is in a beautiful lakeside setting. It was so quiet, you wouldn't know it was so close to the airport. One of the unique things about this house is that it sits right on the state border. Make a point to read the welcome booklet for details when you arrive and for the best place to pick up groceries for your memorable stay!

Outstanding for a large group

We chose this property for a sibling reunion that required 5 bedrooms and at least 3 bathrooms. The house was freshly renovated with comfortable and tasteful decor, and the owners thought through important details like bedside tables, lamps and mirrors in each bedroom (which sounds like it should be a staple but hasn't always been in our experience). The kitchen was well stocked and we really valued having a gas grill on the deck. We especially appreciated having sitting areas, dining and bedrooms on both levels so that those wanting a quieter space didn't have to go far. We took full advantage of this being a lakefront property, and were glad to learn that the owner provided four kayaks, life vests, lawn games and more. While it's close to the Omaha airport, we didn't hear any plane noise indoors. We would definitely come back. A big thank you to Scott for making our stay so enjoyable.

The house is located in Iowa while the patio, firepit and lake are located in Nebraska. Peaceful and relaxing after a busy day exploring all downtown Omaha/Council Bluffs has to offer. You won't find a more peaceful setting that provides everything you need at an amazing price. Nearly everything has been remodeled and is new and waiting for you to enjoy. Upgrades include quartz countertop and backsplash in kitchen, new carpet throughout, and family room flooring on the lake level.
