We rented this house for a weekend w friends, a concert and visiting the Allman Brothers sites, and it was just what we needed. The location is peaceful, a large deck to watch the birds on the water. The inside was comfortable, bright and very clean. I would definitely stay here again.

Relaxing Get-Away

We loved the house. The kitchen was beautiful and spacious and we loved the floor to ceiling windows overlooking the deck and lake. The deck and backyard were fabulous! The lake, wooded area across the lake, and the surrounding mature trees were brimming with so many species of birds. In the early morning they sounded like a symphony. Next time we plan to stay longer.

Wedding in Macon

We traveled with daughter, my son and his wife and 18 month old triplet grandchildren. This home was perfect for us! Very clean and roomy lots of area for the kids to play inside, great neighborhood, easy in and out of the gated area. Communication with the owner and manager was wonderful. Highly recommended if you’re ever in the Macon area.

Beautiful home great for a family dinner

My family came to Macon to celebrate my son’s graduation from Mercer. The kitchen was well equipped and had plenty of seating between the large island and the dining room table. The house was super clean and had nice finishes. We enjoyed watching the wildlife from the large back porch. Thanks for hosting us!

Lovely, clean, well stocked home. Hosts were very responsive and friendly. The house is in a quiet gated neighborhood that makes you feel safe. Would recommend to anyone visiting the Monroe area

Easter Celebration

The house is very clean and as described. This is our second time to stay here and it is great. Very quiet neighborhood and convenient location. Owners are very responsive to any questions or concerns. Will definitely stay here again when visiting Macon.

Relax and enjoy

We stayed at this lovely home while in the area working. The 3 of us were very comfortable and enjoyed the open kichen with veiws of the lake. The home was very clean and the neighborhood nice and quiet.

Nice Retreat for Macon

This is a lovely remodeled home located in a large subdivision. The owners have made the home feel as if it is a retreat, with a high privacy fence. The kitchen with large floor to ceiling windows overlooking the lake make this a rare find.

Relaxing weekend on the lake

Loved it

The house was very clean, open, and the beds are very comfortable. We will definitely stay again the next time we are in town. The Bauers were so easy to work with and responded very quickly to any questions I had.

Thanksgiving Visit

We were looking for a pet friendly place that was close to our other family members property. This place was perfect. It was exactly as described, very clean and the location was excellent. It fenced yard was perfect for our dogs and the neighborhood was quiet and secure. Will definitely stay here in the future.

Perfect rental!

Pictures are accurate of the property. Super clean and pet friendly. Nice backyard in gated community. We are local, and had to stay here while we got our hardwood floors refinished. It was perfect!

Get ready to sweat then get burned in shower

I wasnt going to leave this reciew as i gave the owners/managers ample time to make it right. But alas, they have not. We booked this place for my wedding weekend. The temperature range for the weekend was 100°-105° and heres the kicker, the AC wasnt strong enough to cool the house down during the day. We were literally sweating all day, every day of the trip. Also, the showers are broken(plumbing issue), where the water will be scorching hot and you try to adjust it and youll be standing there freezing waiting for it to get scorching again. This is every single shower. At night the house cooled down, but we're not here to talk about the bare minimum of my expectations. I reached out to them to let them know, all they said was this was "news to them about the water"... and didnt say anything about AC.. which BTW, my mother in law looked at reviews after our trip and read aallllll about it on there. So someones not telling the truth. They are continuing to rent this place out as if there arent any issues. They sent an AC tech out at 9:30pm our last night.. gee, thanks. They said they would give me $150 back from a $1400 booking, all of which i was sweating like a pig during the day. I have pics of AC holding steady at 85° ALL DAY. The $150 was honestly a slap in the face anyways and they NEVER EVEN DID THAT. I hope this helps the next family who wants to actually enjoy their vacation.

Wonderful property

Very well kept property

The property sits on a cove with Geese,ducts and other wildlife.wonderful back deck with fantastic seating.House seems to be completely remolded and very comfortable .I would stay there again.
