This was a girls' getaway for 6. Kitchen/Dining table was great for games and crafts. Living room had comfortable seating for all of us. We found an extra folding table and put it in the large hallway/laundry area off the dining room for a jigsaw puzzle. Garage was clean and set up as a 'hanging out' space we may use for crafts on our next getaway. The home is very clean and well-cared for. I was expecting a smaller place, but it is laid out well and had plenty of space for all of us and then some. We plan to return in the spring. I think this our new favorite place.

Family Vacation

Great place for family vacation, plenty of room, cleanliness, and just overall nice place. Small lake but was great for our water activities.we had our own boat and wave runners. Swimming area was a soft mud bottom, they have a water trampoline that our grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed. We are planning to return again.THANK YOU

The house was beautiful. Decorated in lake and fishing decor. Nice view of the lake from living room. The walk down to the lake is a bit steep but not bad. The kitchen cupboards are labeled so your not searching for things. Garage is set up for gatherings with tables. Very quiet and relaxing area. We truly enjoyed our stay .

Great Place to Stay

We stayed at the house for our daughters wedding in Northfield. Had a wonderfuyl time and the rental is a great place with ample room. Beautiful sunrises on the lake. Close to Faribault and Northfield which are nice towns with great restaurants. Will visit again.

Enjoyable stay

Great time, outside the city, nice view of the lake. Plenty of bathrooms/showers, beds. The garage was a nice feature. Was perfect for multiple family members hanging out for several days.

Property was beautiful and very well maintained. The 3 full bathrooms made it easy for everyone. King bedroom on main floor and the other 2 bedrooms and a media room in walkout basement. It was close enough to town but still out away from the hustle and bustle. I appreciated the way the cleaning fee was done. We clean up after ourselves and if it’s not to their standards, then charge a cleaning fee. We didn’t use the lake this time but did enjoy the view.

Seventy's Party & Wedding

This lovely home was very clean, comfortable beds and accommodating. The kitchen was well equipped. The lake view is beautiful and serene. The owners were very responsive and communicative before and during our stay. It was convenient for all the wedding festivities and worked well for our own little party time as well.

Fox Lake Family time

Room for family to gather and spend time. Lake was flooded during our stay so we did not go near water. Played games, basketball, had water balloon fights and hung out.

Beautiful, quiet, comfortable

This was a peaceful haven for us and we are grateful to the hosts for providing a perfect home away from home: it was clean, quiet, and very comfortable. The house is in the country, on a beautiful lake that we could not take our eyes off of. But it’s also very close to both Northfield and Faribault. Both towns have great bakeries and plenty of groceries. So the location is really perfect. Thank you for an excellent, restful vacation.

Quiet location on lake

Roomy with nice layout. Tidy but not as clean as other places I've stayed. Was great to have 3 bathrooms for our group. Liked that there were paddle boards and kayak. Brought 2 life vests as reviews stated none available. Access to lake slopes and has an incline. Think our 84 yr old mom would have enjoyed lake more if access was easier. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. glasses.

Summer tranquility

Our Annual Mother/Daughter Trip~ we play cards, games, watch movies, shop, sightsee, look for unique places to eat, and just some R n R or a grand adventure 😀 we missed not having a jacuzzi out the back patio along with a couple adult beverages... other than that, absolutely No Complaints or should i say suggestions😃 Loved it!!

Terrific Lakeside Property and Location

Property and location were terrific (on lake, quiet and peaceful). Good Instructions were provided by host prior to arrival and very easy to check in and checkout of property. Host responded immediately when we had a quick question. Property was easy to access and very clean and professionally setup to use and enjoy (real gem) Bedrooms are nicely spread-out and lots of space for family to spread-out. Nice family room and kitchen as well as downstairs media room. Kitchen and property had all amenities needed. Highly recommend property as nice, quiet lakeside property.

Nice house

The house was nice. Roomy! Don’t get a chance to use the lake too much, but still lovely. Wish there was some life jackets for the SUP and Kayak. House was a bit chilly. Wasn’t able to find the thermostat, I may have just over looked it though! The house is very peaceful on the lake, set at the end of a quiet road! The only downfall to the house is that I’m not sure if it was Cleaned between guests. The host request the guest to do a moderate amount of cleaning between guests, which I’m happy to clean up after myself, but my concern is that not everyone has the same level of cleanliness. When we arrived, there was still hair in the bathtub and stubble in the sink. Because we have youngsters that need baths, we did have to completely clean the bathtub to make sure it was actually clean before we put our kiddos in it. While I appreciate the effort to save money, I think j would be willing to pay a bit more just to know that things are clean and sanitized.
