Sycamore, Cozy get a way! Newly renovated on a private, streamside lot.

Welcome to Sycamore! Our nicely refinished and decorated ranch home provides you with all the comforts you need. The streamside location (that's Mill Creek, one of the finest trout streams in PA) with private back yard space lets you stretch out and release a little before you go to town! You'll find easy parking and a few steps to the MAIN/BACK/REAR entrance. The rarely used front entrance has 3 steps and can only be open from the inside. There is plenty of space to roam, and I am working on creating a butterfly and pollinator garden! I have provided a fire ring for your use, however the wood is hit or miss on site. Sheetz sells it in bundles! Feel free to clear up any twigs on the grounds for kindling. There is also lockable storage in the shed behind the garage, bring your own lock! You might find a bike in there for your enjoyment as well!
If you are looking at this listing, you probably already know a few things about Ligonier, and now you'll have found the perfect spot to enjoy all it has to offer!

Food, specialty shops, antiques, entertainment and more. Be sure to stop by the newest addition, The Tubmill Provisions and the Thistledown pavilion. Slightly out of town to the west is the infamous Idlewild Park and soak zone!

Flight 93 memorial
Fallingwater
4 state parks - Linn Run, Keystone, Kooser,
Twin Lakes

We really enjoyed our stay in Ligonier! The home was comfortable and very well stocked with everything we needed, which made our visit easy and relaxing. The location was perfect — close to downtown and all the local shops and restaurants, yet still quiet and peaceful. It was a wonderful place to come back to after exploring the area.

We went to Steeler training camp in Latrobe and stayed at Sycamore. It was only a 15 min drive. The house was super clean and had everything we needed. It was really quiet and it was nice to be out and away from all the traffic. Rick was a great host and we would definitely stay again.

Very clean and comfortable! A classic cottage updated with modern amenities. We appreciated the well equipped functional kitchen. The yard with it's huge sycamore tree is very private so we enjoyed all our meals outside. Rick is an excellent comunicator and someone who cares deeply about his property and the community...nice experience for us.

Cozy cottage

The house was very clean with new updated appliances, windows, and flooring. The bathroom had two sinks, good water pressure, and all the necessary toiletries. The owner has an eye for detail and everything was just right! Nice outdoor sitting area too! Lovely!

Very Charming Cozy Home

Stayed here for the weekend while in town for a wedding. Very nice, cozy and clean home. Rick was a great host and obviously takes pride of the home and property. We would highly recommend staying here.

Picture Perfect!

We had a wonderful stay at Sycamore. It’s a charming and cozy home located just minutes from Ligonier’s town square. Everything was picture perfect including a well stocked kitchen. Rick was quick to respond to all messages and went above and beyond to help us with a last minute special request. We look forward to staying again in the future.

My favorite house

This was our second trip to this VRBO to visit family in Greensburg. I absolutely love the layout of this home and you get a lot for your money. Not a whole lot to do in the immediate area, but that’s why we love it. We plan to be back in the spring. Thank you Rick! ♥️

I have taken much pride in the remodeling of this little ranch that I have owned for more than 10 years. Now, every inch on the inside is fresh and sound. The grounds outside open and inviting and some are a work in progress, but will be worth a second visit when the butterflies come to town!

The nice thing about the property is the acclaimed fishing stream, Mill Creek, that splits the property in half! It provides for interesting birdwatching, and other critters! There are miles of back, country roads
that are great for biking or just a casual stroll.
