Whether you are on a spiritual or philosophical path to awakening or just looking for a tranquil escape from your busy life, you'll not be disappointed with an escape to the Satori Cottage. This amazing vacation home boasts an uber private lot with amazing catwalk deck to enjoy the lot's view of the stream valley. This Japanese inspired cottage, tastefully decorated with amazing amenities features two Master Suites (one upstairs, one downstairs). Guests that appreciate the beauty of the woods; but, like access to restaurants and shopping in Ligonier and Greensburg will love this for their next getaway. The home sits streamside at the end of dead end lane. Folks that are seeking solitude, quiet and peaceful oasis will not be disappointed with the Satori Cottage. Our guests will enjoy the sounds of rushing water from the screened porch or fall asleep to Spring Peepers chirp while drifting off gently moving water. You can dine out or stay home and whip up your own cuisine in the kitchen and eat at the dining room table and enjoy the view from the triple sliding door wall of windows. Just a little over an hour from Pittsburgh and minutes to Ligonier the Satori Cottage makes an exceptional meditative getaway for discerning guests.

Beautiful place to escape reality for however much time u have to get away.. hot tub was much needed.. The screened in porch was amazing to sit and relax and listen to the sound of nature. We had a wonderful 32nd anniversary wkend and will definitely go back.

Wonderful stay at Satori Cottage. Very private and quiet location would definitely return. It is so secluded that we had no cellular service (AT&T) and the DSL service was slow (but mostly functional) which also helped us slow down, relax and enjoy the stay. We considered it a partial digital detox. The hot tub was the best we have experienced in a stay. We could not have had a more perfect location for a long weekend away.

Satori Cottage is pristine clean! The kitchen and bathrooms are updated and gorgeous! This is glamping at its very best! The view and babbling brook couldn't have been more perfect. Also, we really enjoyed the hot tub and screened in porch. There is zero traffic to be heard here. I could only give 4 stars instead of 5 because the fire pit area is falling apart and the master bedroom mattress needs replaced. We slept in the bedroom on the lower level where the mattress had good support. Overall, it was a very restful and peaceful retreat that we very much needed. Thank you!D & T Thieler

The place was very nice ,although it was not very peaceful due to the storm we had to listen to the house generator for two days, and the gas tanks went empty leaving us with no power for hours and no hot water to shower . The caretaker did not respond to my attemprs to reach him to resolve the issues. Luckily the electric was restored

Thank you for the feedback from your stay. Yes, there was a big storm that came through leaving the property without power. Our local operations manager restored power via the generator so that the property could be enjoyed for your stay. After your arrival, we did not hear from you until after check-out regarding any generator or hot water issues. If there are issues during your stay, we urge guests to please let us know so that we can be of assistance! We can't fix what we don't know about.

Excellent woodland getaway retreat!! The home is gorgeous and unique and you can tell it was built with quality and intentionality. We had one issue with a shower not draining, but the property manager fixed it the next day and it worked great after that! Would definitely come back again!

Nice weekend away

Very quiet location, and still close to stores, restaurants, and activities. Really enjoyed the ~0.25 mile walking path.

Satori cottage was a true retreat and provided peace and serenity. Evenings were unforgettable relaxing under the stars in the hot tub while listening to the gentle moving sound of the nearby brook. The tasteful Asian-inspired decor thoughtfully complemented the natural surroundings and added to the overall sense of calm. If you are looking for a quiet, restorative getaway, Satori is your perfect retreat. 5 Stars!!

Forest cabin

Beautiful house in a quite forest area. House and hot tub were amazing, you can hear the stream from the bedroom windows. Would definitely stay here again if I'm in the area.

Weekend retreat

We wanted a quiet weekend away and this lovely little place did not disappoint. Very clean, great energy, beautiful nature views. We look forward to makong this a regular little getaway to recharge.

My sister and I chose this home for its uniqueness and the tranquil area. We we NOT disappointed! The house and surroundings were lovely. We LOVED the hot tub looking out over the creek and woods. There was everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It snowed 5 or 6 inches on our departure day, but we just drove really slow on the private road.

Serene and upscale

We were very happy with our stay. The owners put a lot of thought into creating a peaceful environment. I would caution that the living room is not large and think it may be a little tight for 2 couples although probably fine a family of 4. We would definitely stay there again.

Great Getaway

Beautiful secluded property. Will be booking again in the fall so that we are able to enjoy all the amenities offered outside. Everything was great except for the cleanliness of the property, looked as if the cleaner did not care at all.
