This home was built with vacation in mind! Open concept living and kitchen. 1st and 2nd bedrooms have beautiful water views! Bedroom 1 has designated work space with a water view. Two bunk bed rooms share a Jack and Jill bathroom with bedroom 2.

3 refrigerators and full size washer/dryer. Open kitchen with bar seating.

Every yard and water toy you can imagine for the kids and big kids! Rope swing and waterslide. The water is 10 ft deep in front of the house great for swimming of fishing off the dock.

Come to play or relax. River front living awaits you!

Quiet neighborhood with oversized lot provides privacy from neighbors and plenty of outdoor play space.

Lovely lakehouse! This was our second time staying at this lakehouse and we had so much fun. My daughter was celebrating her 16th birthday - she and her friends had so much fun using the paddle boards and swimming at the lake.

Great place to spend some time in a nice, quiet location. Property is well laid out and a fantastic dock to do some fishing. Home is very roomy for plenty of living space! Will definitely be back!

Relax on the lake

We had an amazing time on this beautiful property that is located right on the lake. There's everything you need to have a great time. The house is stocked with all the essentials plus more. We loved barbecuing and spending time on the back porch. My husband enjoyed fishing and just being out on the pier. You will not be disappointed.

Perfect getaway

We spent Thanksgiving break at this property with some friends and everyone had a great time. The view of the lake is amazing and the house is cozy, clean, and has everything you may need. We used the canoe and paddle boards and it was so much fun. We will definitely come back!

Family Getaway

We loved the home and location the owners were great and it was stocked with all the essentials. Very clean. We fished at the neighborhood boat ramp and had a blast!!!

Weekend get away

Most things were great! House was super clean, stocked with common house supplies, WiFi was awesome!!! Our biggest upset was 2 fold… we expected a boat ramp available close to the house, which was there but was completely full of debris and sludge so we couldn’t use it… we also rented thinking there was a slide on the the dock… well it was disassembled so no usage..

Family Fun Time

This property was so wonderful. All our kids had a wonderful time. The owners are very easy to communicate with and very responsive. This home is set up and stocked well for all guests. We will definitely be booking this property again in the future.

I came to this property to relax and getaway for a few days. This lake house was perfect and had everything we needed. Plenty of space inside and the outside area was a nice space to relax and enjoy the water. The host was super responsive to any questions. I really enjoyed my time at this property.

Great spot with plenty of room for 4 couples, a baby, and our fur babies. Caught a few fish and swam off of the dock. The boat ramp was silted in and jammed from some recent flooding. I was able to launch my boat, but larger boats might have had trouble. Hopefully the ramp gets cleaned up soon!

Beautiful, well-kept home

We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 day stay at this property. The home and property were very clean and offered the perfect accommodations for our group of 6 (3 adults and 3 teenagers). Everything was well stocked and we enjoyed hanging out around the firepit, as well as at the dock. We watched a number of big fish swimming around the dock. We used the home as a base for going to Lake Livingston. It was a quick drive to Onalaska to access the lake and very relaxing to be back at night for games. The owner was very responsive and we would happily return.

Great for Outdoor Activities

Me and a few buddies get together every Summer at a rental house. We like to be close to water and have outdoor space for yard games and hanging out. Texas Bahamas worked really well. Mosquitoes were bad but that’s not the hosts’ fault. They had plenty of spray available. Firewood provided was nice so we could have a fire one night as well. Inside had good space, great tv/stereo, and good kitchen. Extra fridges too! Three night stay and we only left once.

Lake Home was Beyond My Expectations

The lake home was better than I had expected. Hosts were wonderful and easy to work with. When I had questions they got back to me immediately. The home was super clean and decor was beautifully welcoming. The home was equipped with everything you could possibly think you need. I enjoyed sitting on the back porch overlooking the water while sipping hot tea. The neighborhood was quiet and the location of the house makes you feel like there is no one for miles. I can’t say enough good things about this home. We are looking forward to returning some time in the future!

Amazing home for a getaway!

Perfect size for our family of 5 with all the things we needed. Plenty of towels! Man I didn’t realize how many towels we can go through swimming. Kids had a lot of fun, swimming and just having quality family time since we work so much it was much needed. We did bring our dog so that was a plus she had fun rolling in the grass and she didn’t go swimming but hung out with us at the dock. Hubby and the kids tried the kayak out. Meghan was super responsive and very helpful! Would stay again! Love the home. Thanks so much!

The home is located in San Jacinto county in a quiet cove off the Trinity River. The water at the dock is typically between 8-10 foot deep depending on the water level of the river. If you are an early riser, be sure to wake up, pour yourself a cup of coffee and enjoy the beautiful sunrise off the back porch. We have been coming to the Trinity River for over 20 years. While this home is new to us, this area and cove has been a part of our families memories for years. At times the water is green and we would always joke it was like the Bahamas, just in Texas, hence the name Texas Bahamas. We hope you enjoy it out here as much as we do and make lasting memories.
