Sharkey Mountain Lodge is a gorgeous 6 bedroom, 4 bath home with a hot tub sitting on 6 acres that backs up to the National forest. Beautiful décor and furnishings, and all the amenities you might need to feel at home. Seasonal river in front of the property and you can walk out the back gate to the National forest. Located one mile from the Forest Service Road 120 ATV/UTV entrance.
From Memorial Day to Labor Day you can enjoy watching live horse racing at the Ruidoso Downs Race Track conveniently located 9.9 miles away. The Inn of the Mountain Gods Casino is 11.2 miles away where you can enjoy gaming, golf, fishing, concerts, and family events. Ski Apache (17.6 miles away) allows for hiking, ziplining, skiing and snowboarding, with 11 lifts including New Mexico’s only passenger Gondola to the top. The winter months offer a chance to take the kids tubing at Ruidoso Winter Park (5.8 miles away). No matter when you plan your trip, there’s something for everyone.

The game room includes a pool table, foosball table & basketball shot game. Enjoy a game of poker with your family or friends, the table also converts to a bumper pool table, with a motorcycle theme bar and tv in the room. Theatre room with 85" tv with theatre seating.
Workout Room with multi station fitness center, elliptical bicycle, dumbbells' set with bench and yoga mat & ball. Enjoy an evening on the 2nd story deck around the firepit. **There are 3 propane tanks on site-- It is the renters responsibility to refill tanks if needed/used.**
Two security cameras are on the property-- located on the front of the house and on the back of the house. ****It is recommended to not turn the air conditioning units below 68 degrees to keep the units from freezing as recommended by HVAC companies in Ruidoso (due to the elevation)****

1st Story: Living Room, Kitchen, Dining Room, Master Bedroom, Sports Room, Wilderness Room, Railroad Room, Poker Room & Laundry Room.

2nd Story: Route 66 Room, Nautical Room, Bathroom, Theatre Room, Gameroom & Workout Room. There are two security cameras located on the property for your security.

beautiful place. perfect for 3 families (6 adults, 6 kids) to spend time together but not feel like we were on top of each other. movie room and pool table a great addition, and everyone loved the hot tub! Being right next to Lincoln National Forest gave us all room to roam. Highly recommend!

The house was beautiful and large with plenty of space for everything we needed, we loved the game room and the hot tub. The only downside i would say which is minor is that it could have been better stocked with towels. We really liked it and would book there again.

The stay was very cozy and the game room was awesome and entertaining the hot tube was amazing and the themes and decorations were really cool super clean rooms and comfortable beds 10/10 recommend , would stay here again and the host was also very nice :)

House was great for our large group. There was a few things that could be a bit cleaner, did not use the master bath tub due to it being dirty, floors left our socks and feet dirty. Kids loved all the games and room outside to play. Master bed was soft for our liking and had flat pillows.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. There are a few things to consider. First the “6 acres” is really only about 1 acre and the rest is a very large/steep hill that is not safe for small children. There are no air vents upstairs at all. We went in March so it wasn’t too terribly hot but it definitely gets much warmer up there. The neighborhood is quaint, neighbors are very nice and friendly, the amenities were fun and entertaining. Might consider that there is only 1 fridge for a very large house so not super easy to fit a weeks worth of groceries for 10 people. The host was incredibly easy to work with and responded promptly.

The house was amazing - all the bedrooms & space needed for a group of 5 adults & 6 children.We enjoyed the close proximity to shopping in Ruidoso.We all enjoyed the hot tub, pool table & various games.The outdoor deck needs to be replaced- cracked railings & boards were a hazard for the younger children.

Beautiful home with beautiful views

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home! The home is well stocked for everything you need for cooking. All the rooms were decorated in cute themes that everyone enjoyed. We enjoyed the outdoor fire pit on the balcony. We watched deer, elk and various birds in the gorgeous view. I would stay here again. The host has excellent communication if you have questions.
