The cabin was very cute & cozy with good space for our family Christmas get away for 5 adults and 4 kids. The beds and accommodation were good, and the hot tub was nice, but we loved the porch and the amble seating for relaxing. The game room was fun for us all. My input would be to say that we could have used a bit more “starter amenities” like garbage bags and dishwasher tablets and towels, for a group of 9 we went through things very quickly and had to restock and do laundry to have enough towels for everyone for our 5 day stay. So my advice would be to bring extra supplies from home. And also - please be very careful going up and down the mountain roads - especially at night - go very slow and use your GPS to see which way the road is curving because it is very very dark going up the mountain at night. The cabin is closer to Gatlinburg than it is to “downtown” Sevierville, so plan your grocery shopping/orders appropriately. The overall area of the cabin is mountainous, but there were also close by neighbors that have rosters and chickens, which I think added to the rustic feeling and made it feel “real”. However, one of their neighbors has quite the collection of “yard accessories” (i.e. junk) that kept it a little too real when you spent a large sum of money on a rental, only to feel like you are maybe not in a great area.
