Exactly as described in the listing. More essential amenities than many VRBOs we have stayed in including kitchen supplies, coffee, linens, shampoo/soap etc. Visiting family loved the theatre room! Kathryn was always easy to communicate with.We plan to stay here again or next door at her other property when we come to visit family.

Great stay!

This was one of the best places we have stayed in since our very first experience with VRBO! It was clean, in a great location, quiet, and comfortable! The host was responsive, and being pet-friendly was a huge plus! I would highly recommend to anyone staying in Jacksonville!

Family Weekend

Rented for a long weekend to visit family stationed at the local marine base. Perfect location to base, restaurants, and stores. House was clean and accommodations perfect for a long weekend. Highly recommend.

Perfect Spot!

We loved this house! It’s within walking distance to a restaurant downtown, great theater, well stocked with amenities, and very clean! We really enjoyed our week and would stay again if back in the area.

Wonderful house!

We enjoyed our stay there very much! The house was spotless, roomy and has a great fenced-in yard. The beds were very comfortable and the host was friendly and responsive. The location was super convenient also. We would absolutely love to stay there again!,

Wonderful House close to Marine Base

This house was everything promised and perfect for our stay while visiting our Marine. We loved the movie room and yard for our dog. Very nice park within walking distance where we even fished. Host is super easy to get a hold of too. Will definitely be back.

The house was really nice, and our dog loved the yard. The only issue was the stairs going up to the main living area. We are a little older lol and we had trouble navigating our luggage up the stairs.

family vacation

My family and I stayed at Kathryns home for a weekend getaway, and absolutely enjoyed our stay. Kathryn was very accommodating and checked up on us to see if we arrived safely. The at home theater room was our favorite and enjoyed it the whole trip. This home was perfect for my family and I would definitely recommend it to anyone!

Luxury Resort quality

I fell in love with the listing from pictures and was ready to marry it when i walked in the room!! This place is beautiful and sooo comfortoable! Kitchen is ready for a top chef, bathrooms are ready for a spa soak, and the beds are made of clouds! I dont know what was around because my trip was too brief and i decided to cook instead of dining out but 15/10 would recommend!! I'll be back Kathryn!

Aawesome place and great location

I loved how from the beginning Kathryn worked with me and responded very quick the house is beautiful and well maintained the only thing i will say is there was some dog hair in the theater room that could of been cleaned but im a dog owner and understand so but the entire home over all was clean and i loved how they worked with us on all concerns for that i tha k you and would greatly recomed staying at thier property thanks again for everything and God bless you!

Perfect

Best Vrbo we have stayed in to date. The kitchen was fully stocked with pans & utensils - not always the case in our experience & that makes it difficult to make home cooked meals for our Marine. Base was only 8 minutes away. And the theater room! Outstanding addition- so fun. Oh and the neighborhood has a lovely park - really nice for early morning walks Thank you to our host Kathryn :)

This home has many features for a home away from home

My son’s girlfriend and I drove from NJ to visit our marine stationed at CL. Let me first say that I was amazed how accommodating the owner was in every possible way. I mean above the top, amazing. We were highly impressed with the theatre room. It’s cozy and clean. In fact we all fell asleep watching a movie the first night. The outdoor set up complete with table, chairs, brand new grill and we even did s’mores by the fire pit which all we needed was the s’mores to make it happen. Beds are comfortable. Bathrooms provide anything you may need and forgotten and the kitchen has all you may need to cook. The last home I stayed at briefly said she did but upon arrival I had very little to work with. For families or friends looking for a nice getaway this is the place. I would most definitely recommend and book here again. Thanks for everything Kathryn.

True home away from home and only minutes away from Camp Lejeune

This is my second time at this home. The host is exceptionally prompt and caring of any questions or needs you may have as a guest. The location is perfect if you desire quiet and quality plus only minutes away from Camp Lejeune as my son is stationed there. We drove from NJ so arrival time wasn’t guaranteed but it wasn’t an issue as the host was willing to allow an early check in. Ahhh the theater room is amazing as it’s as if you were at the movies but in the comfort of a home. The amenities are countless as you can cook, bbq outside, if you have little kids they have a fenced in yard to play, a fire pit for s’mores, yum! I love the way the home is set up as the kitchen island becomes a perfect spot to snack and play games as we did after a nice home cooked meal. Also if you’re looking to go out there are plenty of local restaurants around and at night you can take a stroll by the river as it’s quite close. I fully recommend this home for any and/or all guests whether family with young children or adults as it’s well maintained and host is friendly and accommodating. I absolutely will be back again soon. Thank you so much for all your hard work to create such a welcoming home away from home.
