Nice place pretty secluded. Lake wasn't as swim-able as we had hoped but It's pretty close to other things we could do and that was nice.

Oh my !! What a beautiful place and clean and family friendly!! We could have not picked a more wonderful place to stay!! Amities were over the top, every room was spacious. The view of the lake was spectacular!! And views from every room. Working with the owner was also wonderful and they were flexible to our needs.We would highly recommend this place. I am hoping to return someday!!

Great stay

So happy we found this house! It was just the right size for an extended family get together. So nice that everyone could have their own rooms yet gather for meals and time together. Very clean and hopefully we can go back when the weather is nicer so that we can make use of the lake!

Memorial Day weekend

Everyone enjoyed the location. So much room and a bed for all. Lots of counter space and in the pantry too. The well water tasted just find. Eric is good to respond too. Thank you for all the fun and restful home to stay in. Mel and Jaylene

Family vacation

We have 22 of us and there was ample space for all. We appreciated the two refrigerators for all the food and drinks. We cook each night and the kitchen was well stocked with plates, silverware and pots and pans. The kayaks and water pad were a hit along with the fire ring. The owner was quick to respond with any questions or issues we had. Another memorable vacation in the books.

Sleeps twenty-four!

Eight bedrooms and four bathrooms...perfect for this family of 24! We had fun playing games in the cottage and had great weather to enjoy the kayaks and lily pad and fishing and playing in the water. Well equipped kitchen for fixing your own meals and unlike other cottages we've stayed in, this one provided toilet paper, paper towels, dish and dishwasher soap, laundry soap/dryer sheets, hand soap, shampoo, body wash and conditioner enough for our whole stay.

Super family VACA

We had a fabulous stay at Eric's place. Clean, comfy rooms, space for the family to play games, inside and out. I highly recommend this great lakefront VACA home.

great location for a family gathering!

We enjoyed our time at the lake house, which had all of the fun amenities for a family gathering. the kids especially loved the kayaks and splash pad and we all enjoyed the views and access to the lake. the house is big and accommodated our group. would recommend to any family or group of friends!

Wonderful Lakeside House for Multi-Family Vacation

The lakehouse was wonderful. We appreciated having 4 king beds (plus a queen) for all the adults. The house had great wifi, plenty of plates and utensils for our large group (14 people). The kayaks and swim pad were a huge hit. And, the firepit was great for the smores. We'd definitely stay here again.

Great property and accommodations

Our extended family of 14 (8 adults, 6 kids) plus a Labrador Retriever, loved the amount of bed and bathrooms and large spaces to hang out. Well stocked with kitchen items, towels, games (indoor and outdoor), laundry facilities. Nice touch with the dog bowls and toys too. But our most favorite was the dock and outdoor space- paddle boat and kayaks, swim mat and dock. Owners were great with communication, prompt to troubleshoot little things that arose or answer my questions. If you have a large group looking for a relaxing week by a quiet lake- this is the place!

Terrific house

Terrific house with many amenities. Large rooms with guest house and large deck overlooking dock on the lake. Boat house with paddle boat and 3 kayaks. Firepit with firewood (smores), slides, swing and large yard. The 22 adults, 7 kids, and 3 dogs all had a great time. Only 2 small nits to pick - ran short on toilet paper and garbage bags.

Golf Weekend

Our group of 15 golfers had a wonderful time at the house. Lots of extra beds, 2 big refrigerators, great fire pit and a wee house we played dominoes in. The lake looks cool in the morning fog, and on the clear nights the full moon rose over the lake. No noisy neighbors or boats. Very serene. We had never been to this part of Michigan and would come back. Lots of corn, red barns, and nice houses. Played Cedar Creek all 4 days in our tournament. Not long, but tough greens and tight on the front 9.

Had to make a last minute change and found the perfect vacation home

We have an annual multi family vacation each year and were set for Memphis. When we had to make a last minute change and found this home available I was relieved and slightly nervous as we hadn't had time to do much research.Everyone ended up being so happy with the last minute change. The house is even better than the pictures could show. It is extremely roomy, we had a puzzle table, game table and a table to eat. We did bring one large folding table and had plenty of room to set it up. The food buffet was a great space to spread food out through the day. We have been renting houses for over a decade now and I can genuinely say the host at the Union City were the most thoughtful and responsive host we have ever worked with. They proactively told us and handled a problem at the house right before we checked in. We had a minor concern at check in (air conditioners) and within 30 minutes someone was there helping us out. The house is so well stocked and the closeout instructions are very clear.The lake was great and so many water toys for the kids and adults to use. We traveled with three pups and they had tons of room to play and the host even had some great toys, extra bags and plenty of outdoor garbage.We are already planning a trip back!
